Definitely overhated by some. The first ep was kinda meanspirited, but it became funnier & cuter as it went along (same is true of The Dangers in My Heart & even Takagi). Especially liked how many times Nagatoro’s attempts to embarrass Senpai wound up embarrassing her too & how blatantly jealous she got when her friends were teasing him.

I see you have Kanroji as your avy. Have you seen / plan to see the 1st Infinity Castle movie yet?

With one ep left, Dandadan S2 is pretty much a lock for my AOTS & frontrunner for my AOTY as well.

Also saw the 1st Infinity Castle movie at the theater last night & have mixed feelings. Pros: visuals & audio (obviously) &  the backstories for the various demons (particularly Akaza) were  very insightful. Cons: waaaaay too much material crammed into a single sitting &  feel like they retconned what we’d previously learned about Shinobu. I could be mis-remembering or maybe I read between the lines & misinterpreted some things though, planning to rewatch season 1 in the near future to try to reconcile things. And obviously the events of this movie will significantly impact what’s still to come.

I definitely need to rewatch Demon Slayers 1st season, because I saw the first Infinity Castle movie tonight. And  either they made a significant retcon or I am majorly mis-remembering or mis-interpreted Shinobu’s backstory. That matters a lot to me because she’s my favorite Hashira & her role in the franchise’s final arc was one of the major points I was interested in learning. Gonna try to do the rewatch before the year is over.

This evening will probably binge some episodes of Call of the Night season 2 & try to decide if it’s worth sticking with.

Also the first 2 eps of Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku premiere on Netflix this weekend. It’s been hyped up on MAL as a HS romance. Will at least give it a try

Loving the “family” dynamic that has developed: Takuto - good natured but awkward husband & dad; Atou - devoted wife & most competent (and dangerous) member of family; Maria & Caria - twin daughters; Dark Physicians - weird uncles; Isla - nurturing but firm aunt (perfectly voiced by Kikuko Inoue)

The only reason I’m willing to give Call of the Night season 2 a chance is we’re supposed to get some insight into that crazy private investgator / vampire slayer woman (though I’m not convinced it will be worth putting up with the annoying male lead )

And can’t mention crazy vampire hunter without thinking of 

Bad Girl episode 9 - Guess Yuu & Mizuka were too young to be familiar with the expression “Don’t poke the bear” (or maybe it’s just a western thing). Ursula Ursakaze, indeed . Continues to be my funniest show of the season

While these remain my current highlights from My Dress -up  Darling S2, I think episode 9 was my favorite so far. Juju & Shinju (the sisters from season 1) really livened things up with their return I can see Akira catching a lot of hate for her attitude towards Marin, but given that their personalities are polar opposites, it’s actually understandable that she finds Marin to be a bit “Too Much”. She obviously is dealing with some issues & personally I like her character & am looking forward to learning more about her. And then there’s the misunderstanding the episode ended on … hoo boy, it’s gonna be a long night Starting to think maybe the season can still be salvaged after all.

Kaiju No. 8 is pretty much just text-book shonen at this point, but executed well enough to be my #2 for the season (Dandadan remains #1)

Finally got around to watching K-Pop Demon Hunters. Was definitely entertaining
