I set it aside after 3 eps, just wasn’t feeling it. Currently Demon Slayer is providing my quota for action & superior animation. Vinland Saga for violence & philosophy but with superior characterization & writing. I see that it continues to be highly rated on MAL, so may give it another look later. No idea when though. I’m already following 19 seasonals. And even if I drop some of the weaker ones at this late date, there are a number of others I still plan on bingeing (Golden Kamuy 4  & Witch from Mercury 2nd cour) or at least check out (Heavenly Delusion, Summertime Rendering & My Home Hero). And the summer season already has a number of series I’m looking forward to.

Watched the first couple episodes of Insomniacs After School. As the name implies it’s about a couple highschoolers who bond over their shared struggles with insomnia & revive their school’s astronomy club. Like Skip & Loafer it seems like a pretty chill slice of life series with a friendship to romance angle. I really like the ED

My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 has taken the lead as my favorite non-sequel/non-spinoff series of the season, followed by Oshi no Ko

As far as sequels/spinoffs it’s a closer call, but probably still Ancient Magus Bride 2

Yeah, I set that aside after one ep. Might revisit it later, but doubt it.

A lot of people were disappointed that it didn’t take itself more seriously & had more humor/slice of life content than they expected. Overall I enjoyed the first cour but felt like it went downhill after the 2nd cour’s opening arc.

Just learned that this is by the same author as Baccano & Durarara. Makes sense since they also have oddball characters who operate on the other side of the law (information brokers, couriers, fixers, etc.) with some supernatural elements thrown in. He’s also apparently involved in the upcoming Fate Strange/Fake.

Nope, it’s on HiDive & they’re competitors with Crunchyroll now so they don’t share anymore.

From last season : Vinland Saga 2, My Hero Academia 6, Tomo-chan is a Girl & Campfire Cooking in Another World With my Absurd Skill. Still feeling out the current season but Ancient Magus Bride 2 & Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc got off to good starts. Been hearing a ton of hype about Oshi no Ko, but haven’t started it yet.

Haven’t had time for gaming recently.

I enjoyed the series quite a bit. As for the movie Battle of Unato was an ok ending but felt a bit lacking to me.
