Bofuri has always had only 12 eps. Maple gained her Machine Gof/Lord form in episode 8. A season 2 was announced, but no news on it since.

Ok, I admit the 2nd ep made me laugh. A LOT. Especially Aharen’s attempts to protect Raidou’s dignity/virtue 

 And I can relate to Aharen’s reflex to eyedrops. I’m very adverse to anything getting in my eye. My optometrist has to pry my eyes open to put drops in & it’s absolute hell when a lash gets stuck.

@peachtea I see you’ve watched some of World Trigger & am interested on your thoughts of it. Considering adding it to my PTW list.

Checked out some premieres:

Rising of the Shield Hero season 2 - didn’t waste any time at all on a recap, jumping straight to a new threat separate of the “Waves” which were the focus of last season. Curious to see where it goes from here.

Birdie Wing - first of all, if you’re looking for a realistic depiction of the sport & it’s technical nuances, keep looking  As at least 2 of the characters have techniques that seem more like something from Demon Slayer. Also a bit of a Megalo Box or Sk8 the  vibe to it. And I admit the attractive character designs without an egregious level of fanservice are a plus for me. Not sure if I”ll stick with it for the whole season, but seems like a fun/enjoyable way to spend a half hour each week.

RPG Real Estate - not a fan of the moe-blob character designs & didn’t find it cute or funny. Might’ve worked better as a short run time series. One & done.

I’d watched the original adaption back in the day but it didn’t make much of an impression on me. The remake (2019 - 2022) however is one of my all time top 10 anime. In  40+ years of watching anime, I’ve never watched another series which could affect me emotionally as much as it did on a week to week basis during it’s run. Hoping the prequel/recap/sequel film gets released over here in some format (came out in Japan earlier this year).

@AlwaysSearching agree with Moroha being the best thing of what I saw.

I only watched the first season, didn’t really have the same appeal of the original series for me. Granted, I’d only seen the first 54 eps of the original, since it’s hard to find past that on legal streaming sites (still enough to know who Rin & Sesshomaru are). Hulu has them & am planning to watch more of it. Might give Yashahime another chance afterwards, but not anytime soon.

Feel like the 2 leads might get kinda boring after awhile, but hoping the supporting cast will liven things up a bit.

Most of them are titles that are licensed by Sentai Filmworks & available on HiDive. After the Funi/CR merger & news that Disney+ is starting to license anime, seems like they’re getting more serious about being competitors & making their licenses exclusive.

A lot of those manga also have anime adaptions if your interested in them (some of my favorites are Dorohedoro, Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun & Mieruko-chan).

Some others taking into account the manga you listed: Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Gleipnir, Kemono Jihen, Soul Eater, Fire Force, Akudama Drive, Durarara, Hakata Tonkatsu Ramens, Planet With.
