I'd recommend it, I don't mind Movie 1st's Raising Heart design, although I prefer Nanoha's original barrier jacket with her big red bow, also as mentioned before some of the events are slightly more madcap than Movie 1st; a giant kitten and a mutant tree! Similarly with A's vs. Movie 2nd, the movie cuts out the scenes of fake Nanoha and fake Fate, which is a shame! As for StrikerS, some people don't like it, although it's quite enjoyable for introducing new characters, and the Nanoha Overkillness; what setting is Nanoha going to crank her overkillness to this time ? EDIT: There's even a higher setting on the overkill settings with the manga Nanoha Force! latest?cb=20151021162155 Some more pictures of the Fortress, can be found here and here! There's also another Force picture, with Mariel Atenza, but I can't really see it as anything but fanservice!

I'd say Kingdom storylines would be best for Dynasty Warriors as there are so many characters, that it's going to take a lot of hours to complete the story of each individual character, and when the missions are the same, it can be a bit taxing, in my opinion!

Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters (2016 Anime)
senshikoi replied to Digimon_Sommelier's topic in Anime Discussion
I wasn't a fan of the last -tri- movie, that said, you might get a return of "Adult-level Digimon... threat", given the end of the last movie! Appmon is pretty zany, I'll have to see how far the subs have got at somepoint again ! -
I think you're tri-ing to hard ! You know, when I first read your post, but didn't have the time to reply to it, I'm sure I had something to say about the poster, but I seem to have forgotten what that was now! With Digimon Adventure -tri- Movie 1's release date edging closer here in the UK, it appears that the distributor, Manga Entertainment has decided to drum up interest by releasing the first series on DVD!! I think this is the first time that the whole series has been released on DVD over here, the other time (or times?) the releases, it stalled after releasing a couple of volumes!

Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters (2016 Anime)
senshikoi replied to Digimon_Sommelier's topic in Anime Discussion
You're still ahead of me, at the moment, watched episodes 3 and 4, but thought I'd wait until the subs are out to watch episode 5! Technically all chosen children didn't feature at the start of Adventure, or at least get whisked away to the Digital World, as Hikari was home, sick! I'd say that each series is different, as I think Savers didn't introduce us to everyone at the start either, I think we only got introduced to Masaru and Yoshino in the first episode! Been enjoying Appmon, I find it a quite zany series, although I do agree with a comment on the site that I was using to watch those two episodes, about the lack of evolution music being disappointing! [spoiler=Episode 3]Observations: CG App Fusion - will all App Fusions get the CG treatment, or following the pattern laid out by other Digimon series, it will only just be the main character(s); Castle of Knowledge - the school being a castle reminded of the Persona series, it's been revealed that the school for Persona 5, will be a dungeon in the other world, whilst in Persona 4, there were two castle dungeons; Divine Buster - the beam that shoots out of the Appli Drive to realise an Appmon, reminds me of one of the main attacks used by Takamachi Nanoha (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha), see below; Dragon Quest - Roleplaymon's design reminds me of the Hero and Heroine for Dragon Quest IV, Sage too, to some extent, and the design on his shield kinda looks like the Crest of Courage; Evolutionary Throwback - the fact you now get "failed" evolutions actually reminds me of Negima!?, where you have suka/dud cards; Capture your Heart - Fate/Extra CCC sprung to mind (see below), although I feel there are other series similar to this; Exodia the Forbidden One - Roleplaymon is one of seven Appmon that form/summon a more powerful Appmon, like in Yu-Gi-Oh! (parody image for Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls for Kirari Moroboshi and Anzu Futaba, have used this picture, as it was the link I needed to find the actual thing in Yu-Gi-Oh!, so credit where credit's due); Kiriha-2 - Rei displays a cruel personality, similar to Kiriha in the beginning of Xros Wars! Pictures: latest?cb=20110325183428 To be honest, probably not the best pictures, for Nanoha, it's before she fires the shot, so you don't get the sheer overkillness of it, and for Fate/Extra CCC, again it's a bit early, you can see Passionlip glowing, but it's before her "heart" reveals itself! Apparently, according to the Internet, Fantasy Saga is based on Granblue Fantasy -not sure what exact criteria it hits so that it's based on this, and not any other series, but there you go-, and the Healing Fairy is based on Nurse Joy, which is something I didn't notice at first, but thinking about it..., they could be right! [spoiler=Episode 4]Observations: A Devilish Crossover - the devil "costume" made me think of Yui Yuigahama from Yahare Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru/My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, there's a figure of her in a similar costume, not sure if she wears the costume in the series though; Stepping up a LeveL - Really feeling the power of L (Death Note), with Leviathan communicating to Cameramon via laptop, and an L being on screen; The Last Icon - underneath the series' title, there are six icons, which relate to some of the Appmon categories, and the known Buddies fall into five of those six categories, so now, we have to wonder if an Appmon of the sixth category will be snapped up by the current chosen children, or will one of the potential three take this honour; Know Your Enemy - Haru hits the books to prepare for the inevitable fight against Leviathan, although means he misses meeting up with Ai and everyone, in costume; Cause and effect - damage in the AR field, has effects in the real world, reminds me of X (CLAMP), where a magical barrier would hide anything that took place within it, unless it is broken, by one of two ways; A bit of this, and a bit of that - DoGatchimon has a look of Paildramon in the face, Navimon's pointers as "holsters", and Shoutmon with the V shaped head; Person in black clothes - didn't think Haru had actually seen "the person in black clothes", I didn't even think they were meant to be there, they were just "somewhere", but apparently they were there, on account of being seen by Haru; One unknown, two unknowns - an invisible tentacle steals away Haru's prize, accompanied by a female voice, the owner of the female voice is then revealed towards the end of the episode, along with another unknown female Appmon, possibly! Pictures: Not so unknown now, found out their identities by chance, Mienumon and Beautimon, or at least I believe these are the Appmon that featured at the end of the episode! On my travels across the internet today, I came across this image, relates to the vending machine asking Haru if he wants to "start an adventure", and a similar thing in Frontier! EDIT: Correction, there are seven Appmon categories with the series' title, the six underneath it, and the seventh (search) as "part" of the title, so two are up for grabs, Haru nearly got hold of one of these, although it was snatched from his grasp! -
So just watched five of the episodes to Brotherhood, the sixth one is exclusively bundled with an expensive version of Final Fantasy XV itself! I actually watched the episodes as "part of" work, just started working recently in the Customer Service team of a game retailer, and on its "learning zone", were the episodes to Brotherhood! I also had to create a game character, as part of group training exercise... and I might actually upload my images at a later date; I actually found myself thinking about the development of the fictional game, even after the exercise was over, so much so, I was actually sketching out ideas in a McDonald's for two hours, had I been in Subway, with unlimited refills, I might have never left ! Anyway, back to Brotherhood: [spoiler=Episode 1 - Before the Storm]Synopsis Noctis and company are travelling to meet up with Lunafreya, whilst in the car, Noctis dreams of the past, when he was injured by a Marililith, the stop at a diner, ordering four burgers and fries from the waitress, however quickly move on, when it appears that the Imperial Forces are close by! The next day, they find their way blocked by Imperial Forces, and engage them, until reinforcements arrive, bringing with them the Marililith from Noctis' past, enraging him! Thoughts I thought this episode was quite good, it also showed that the Imperial Forces were mechanical, because... if they weren't the brutality in which Noctis and company dealt with them, definitely would have pushed up the age rating of this game! [spoiler=Episode 2 - Dogged Runner]Synopsis Whilst driving, Prompto skids off the road, when he spots an injured dog, treating the animal, he is reminded of his school days, with Noctis! In the past, Prompto was a bulky kid, that kept to himself, and enjoyed taking pictures of animals, however one day, he comes across an injured dog, bandaging up its leg, and takes the dog in, with the intent of finding its owner! Whilst Prompto is sleeping, the dog returns to its original owner, Lunafreya, who notices the bandage, which has Prompto's name on it! She discovers that Prompto attends the same school as Noctis, and thus believes they are friends, she writes Prompto a letter, asking that he remains friends with Noctis, thus causing Prompto to change himself, before he feels he can approach Noctis, so he starts running to lose weight! Thoughts Not sure about this episode, personally, the "Little Japan" look of the location in this episode, seemed out of place to me! Also I thought Luna looked older than Prompto in this episode, and thus would mean she's older than Noctis too, whether this is the case, I don't know! I liked how Ignis featured in this episode though! [spoiler=Episode 3 - Sword and Shield]Synopsis Noctis and company have just felled a large horned beast, that Prompto exclaims will be the base of their next meal, however just after saying that, two more beasts of the same species approach them, along with Imperial Forces! Noctis and company do battle with both the horned beasts, and the Imperial Forces, with Gladiolus making a bet with Noctis as to who will be eating meat tonight, determined by who defeats the most number of enemies! Memories surrounding young Noctis are recalled, from his refusal to train with Gladiolus, after deciding it was too difficult, to Gladiolus at home, with his younger sister Iris, followed by other memories! Returning to the present, with all enemies subdued (one of the horned beasts was like "screw this", and skulked off), it is revealed that Noctis and Gladiolus are tied, for number of enemies defeated! Thoughts After the blip that was the last episode, I feel this episode was again, a good episode, can't think of anything wrong with it! latest?cb=20160707131238 [spoiler=Episode 4 - Bittersweet Memories]Synopsis Tired of camping, Noctis and company return to a town they've already passed through, in order to spend the night! Noctis and Prompto go out to explore the town, with Prompto asking two women where they got their ice cream from, whilst Ignis goes out to get ingredients! Back at the room, Ignis starts baking, and memory to explain his interest in baking begins! Noctis once had a dessert he really enjoyed, but doesn't know what was in it, so Ignis attempts on several occasions to re-create the receipt, he then travels over to Noctis' appartment, to deliver the completed products, and then usually clean up the appartment, and make dinner! Thoughts Again, I feel this was a good episode, I also like how the original car, from the Final Fantasy XIII Versus trailers returns, that said, I think it returned in episode three, but it was stationary in that, and you couldn't see all of it! [spoiler=Episode 5 - The Warmth of Light]Synopsis The battle against the Marililith from episode one, resumes with this episode, we are also shown more of Noctis' past encounter with the Marililith, with Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus reminding Noctis, that this time, he is not alone! Thoughts I personally think that episode one, should really have been screened as episode four, as when you watch episode two, and everything is all hunky dory, you think "wait... what!?" We also find out the woman killed protecting young Noctis is his "carer", nanny perhaps, rather than his mother, which is who I thought she was, so why is he so enraged? Ok, I guess he could possibly still be enraged at his nanny being killed! [spoiler=Episode 6 - Teaser Trailer]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWvH7hOIfz0 I feel it's a shame that Luna replaced Stella, although in one of the more recent trailers (excluding Kingsglaive), I will admit that Luna actually received some development, rather than being an "end point"! I kind of hope that Stella still exists somewhere in the current canon! When I think about it, an idea has popped into my head, although I find it interesting I'd choose such an idea; Stella is Luna's older sister, and original fianceé to Noctis, even though there is an age difference, however Stella is killed, and thus Luna is made Noctis' fianceé instead! Looking forward to know how you get the car skin featuring Cindy, if you don't go for the pre-order pack, although that said, I think that pre-order pack might even be Japan exclusive anyway! Also, it seems that since I was last on Final Fantasy wikia, there has been a new picture of Aranea Highwind, although that said, Square-Enix has yet to release an image where she looks right when wearing her helmet, in my opinion! Lastly, Justice Monster V has popped into my head, probably because it was something I "had to" learn about on my Final Fantasy module, for work ! [spoiler=Images]latest?cb=20110921161124 latest?cb=20141220163126 latest?cb=20160818230255 Right, so that's all from me, for now!

Final Fantasy X soundtrack, as laughed out by Tidus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOzM4ClFG1o Stumbled across it, as I was trying to find the meme image, or just an ordinary image of "Your Prayers went unanswered", from Final Fantasy IV, at least, but didn't manage to find one!

Anyone excited for the new Pokemon Sun and Moon Anime/Games?
senshikoi replied to BrittCraft's topic in Chit Chat
Just played the demo, and something that annoyed me about Generation VI, has been solved for these games; in Generation VI trainers didn't have a physical presence in battles - I was going to say most, thinking about Serena/Calem, Shauna, May/Brendan, and a few others, but they still don't "exist" during battles, so it is all: In Generation VI, trainers feature in the over world, but then they become "cardboard cut-outs" at the start of the battle (VS Screens), and pull a complete "disappearing act" during the battles These games see the return of trainers in battles which, is great to see! Especially... as I am right that in some Generations, Gym Leaders will "cut into" the battle, when they're doing badly: Generation IV with Whitney, Janine, Erika, Jasmine, Gardenia, Maylene and Candice; Generation V with Skyla; Generation III with Roxanne, Flannery, Winnona, Liza and Tate? Tried to see if I could see specifics, as I think it's Generation III to V, but I might be wrong! Also did the Elite Four and Champion do this? So Generation III, Phoebe and Lorelei, Generation V, Shauntel, etc.! Something else I found out through the demo, is that music now has vocals, as found out when Team Skull appears! Sticking with Team Skull, just before/after a battle with Plumeria, one of its Admin, she pulls a face that reminds me of the ones from the Mega Milk trope, also I like how she referred to the Team Skull grunts as her "cute henchmen", can't remember if she said "little" too now! [spoiler=I don't have the picture of Plumeria, but here's an image from the actual Mega Milk trope] Obviously the graphics will have received an upgrade, however I seemed to notice it most when I saw the female staff member at the ferry terminal (in the demo), and then thought about the Delivery Lady from Generation VI, or the similar character designs of the girls in grey waist coats, shirt and skirt (working in the Battle Maison, and similar roles)... you see how the graphics have changed! We also have a new look for Nurse Joy, but that's to be expected! The demo works the same or a similar way to the demo for Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, in that the demo will have a number of events it will roll between over its "life"! As well as the demo, I came across some new stuff relating to Sun and Moon, such as new characters from the Aether Foundation, an organisation that takes care of hurt Pokémon, regardless whether they are native to the region or not! [spoiler=Aether Foundation - President Lusamine and Branch Chief Wicke] As I didn't include images of these before in my previous posts, thought seen as I was posting images, I'd include an image of one of the Trial Captains (Mallow), and a Z Move! [spoiler=Yesterday's images - they're not really yesterday's ] That's all from me ! EDIT: Thought I'd do an update on the demo! On-going thoughts: Travelling like a boss - been enjoying cruising round on Tauros, at full run, definitely looking forward to doing that in the game, although I'm sure you'll only be able to do it late on, or something, however reminds me of a joke image (Leaf using "surfing Tauros"); So awesome, can't remember the final trainer - Ace Trainer Sheri will only battle a player after they've beaten the three trainers in the area, I remember beating the first and second trainers, although not the third, however I must have, as she battled me anyway; Be sad when you're sad - the defeated trainer now has a defeated "VS screen" now, to match the result of the battle; Attitude problem - Yungoos cry sounds like they're annoyed all the time; Events round town - A lady waits on her knight in shining armour (turns out its a Machamp), a nervous boat passenger hopes you'll see her off, a shady deal is going down at the port, and a trainer hopes to celebrate his Pikachu's birthday in company; Long process - After arriving on Alola, Mom goes to the Town Hall to process your residency, it appears it's a long process, as after a couple of days, she's still in the Town Hall; Crazy Bag Lady - on certain days, you will encounter Lillie talking to a Pokémon in her bag, she will then run off as she needs to see Professor Kukui, and hopes to see you again! I feel that the Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby demo might have been better than this one, as I feel there was more to do in that one, you'd always have someone to battle each day, and new characters would pop up in Mossdeep (Gym Leaders, Team Aqua and Magma grunts)! This demo does play out more real, I mean x happens on a certain date, and y happens on a different date to that, and so on, but in the days in between, there's not much to do! -
Ah right ok, thanks! Felt it was more sporadic than that, but then perhaps I'd checked it for six days... nothing, then left it, and then stumbled across an article on GameSpot, sometime after episode 7 was released! EDIT1: Added to first post, and credited you for the information ! EDIT2: Time to continue, with the next three episodes! Episode 8 - The Cavern In a Mirror Universe - didn't expect them to do both version of events, that said, you can have both events happen in the one game, if you play Emerald, although as Emerald didn't receive a remake, I expected Generations to follow either the Ruby events, or the Sapphire events; Holding out for a hero - neither May or Brendan feature in this episode! Episode 9 - The Scoop Breaking (in) News - Gabby and Ty sneak into the Mossdeep Space Centre, as Gabby feels there's more to the story than they've been told; A Grand Day Out - the footage shows a trainer in a spacesuit (unable to confirm whether May or Brendan riding Mega Rayquazaa into space, to do battle with an unknown space Pokémon, Deoxys! Episode 10 - The Old Chateau No surprise - as hinted at in the trailer, Cheryl makes an appearance in Pokémon Generations, she's also quite different from her main series personality; Permanent blush - both Cheryl and Chansey permanently blush through the whole episode! [spoiler=Images] Well, that's all again, for now! Ended up with shorter descriptions for these episodes, I guess I didn't find anything I needed to pick at, this time round!

So a new Pokémon Anime has been released, Pokémon Generations, an eighteen part mini-series, "telling untold stories of the Pokémon world", in three to five minute long episodes, we're currently up to episode 7! I'm not too sure of what the release times actually are, as last time I checked, I was on episode 4, and after a period of quiet, there's suddenly another couple of episodes! Every Friday, one or two episodes released (thanks Ryuji), on the Official Pokémon Channel (see ); as well as the current number of episodes mentioned, there's also a trailer, I will run through the current content now: Trailer Boast - "untold stories of the Pokémon world" ... we shall see; Cheryl - the trailer shows that at least one of the event trainers from Generation IV will feature! Episode 1 - The Adventure Party like it's 1999 1995 - starts off with Pokémon Red Version Opening, a "battle and getto da ze" (capture) in GameBoy style graphics, before transitioning into anime; On my way to Viridian City Forest - the episode starts with Red capturing Pikachu in Viridian Forest, then using the same Pikachu to fight a Caterpie; The Johto Journeys - the action then moves onto Red and Pikachu in Ecruteak City, battling against a trio of Wooper, let's just say they have the Wooper hand, ignore that; Advanced Battle - the action moves on again, to Red and Pikachu near the Weather Institute in Hoenn, battling a Vigoroth, on the log bridge of Route 119; Runny Noses - the action again, moves on, Red and Pikachu are now doing battle against Probopass outside the Snowpoint Temple; Sandcrawler - the usual happens, Pikachu is seen crawling in the sand in the desert, before the action moving to inside Relic Castle, where Pikachu falls prey to a spot of sinking sand; Riding the rail - the final transition has been reached, we now catch up with Red and Pikachu riding through Terminus Cave on a mining car, whilst being attacked by Noivern; The world will turn to ash Ash - from this episode, it would seem to suggest that we have a copycat trainer, going to every region, like a certain protagonist of the main anime, rather than the trainers of each generation being giving a chance! Episode 2 (The Chase) PEGI didn't close this Game Corner - if LeafGreen and FireRed are remade, and I'd like for that, as we need VS. screens for Kanto Elite Four (Hoenn Battle Frontier too*, but that'd be a different remake-remake), the Celadon Game Corner needs to be shut down like this**; Dude looks like a lady looks like a dude - apparently according to Bulbapedia, the Team Rocket grunt being interogated in this episode is female, however, I think that might be wrong; That Generation IV look - the Viridian City Gym is given its appearance, that features in the games HeartGold and SoulSilver; Music, makes the people come together (Madonna), police raid a Gym - a remix to the Team Rocket music can be heard in this episode; Caught in the blast - good job the Gym was empty, someone could have been killed by that Fire Blast, when it melted the wall; Poor Police Work - the police were not aware that Giovanni was the Gym Leader at the Viridian City Gym... until sometime after the raid! Episode 3 (The Challenger) A disturbance in the force - the Kanto Elite Four respond to news that a trainer has obtained all eight badges, the first time in a while; Kalos Theory - whilst the Kanto Elite Four can only be challenged in a certain order, the Elite Four apparently have "dwellings" in a Kalos or an Unova format, in those regions you can battle the Elite Four in any order (Drasna could be first in Kalos, whilst Shauntel doesn't need to be first in Unova, etc.); Icy resolve - Lorelei and the other members of the Elite Four have more screentime than in Pokémon the Origin; Green Hill Zone - Blue (or Green, if a Japanese version ever appears) proclaims he "will sit on the throne"... AND THERE'S A BLOODY THRONE, he also sounds as if he's voiced by Johnny Bosch Young which, is cool, however unless he's using an alternate name, he isn't! Episode 4 (The Lake of Rage) Female representation - of the Team Rocket grunts, there is one female grunt, sporting pink hair as in Generation IV art, compared to The Origin (no female grunts, with green hair), but that was Generation I story, with Generation III art; Everything is Golden - Gold/Ethan makes an appearance, although mostly in the shadows, dispelling Ash 2.0 worries, and sporting his Generation IV look and tech; Drinking on the job - the Team Rocket grunts swagger stagger about, to face Lance! Episode 5 (The Legacy) Atarashi raibaru (A new rival) - an adapted version of the Rival theme plays in this episode; Radiohead - Team Rocket takes over the Radio Tower, with the female grunt broadcasting a message; The Voice - Silver's doesn't sound how I would have pictured it, the one used kinda sounds like Brad Swaile; I am your father - Silver's heritage is confirmed, in somewhere other than Adentures***, now we just need confirmation if Mars and Athena are related #thatGen4RedHairSpike (not an actual twitter tag, I don't think)! Episode 6 (The Re-awakening) Known by many names - Eusine (main series and games) Eugene (Raikou: Legend of Thunder) Eusine wonders through, and talks about the events surrounding the Burnt Tower; Humble Beginnings - Raikou, Entei and Suicine started off all as Houndour (I lie), before revived and changed by Ho-Oh; Fear will keep the local(s) systems in line (Grand Moff Tarkin) - sure people fear the unexplainable, but I don't recall this story before, although it does support the boast from the trailer "untold stories..."; Who's that girl - in the crowd of scared townspeople, apparently the young child (that's not afraid of Raikou, Entei and Suicine) will become one of the Kimono Girls of Ecruteak City! Episode 7 (The Vision) Ruby Shoes Shoo'd - Ruby/Brendan breaks into the Team Magma Hideout, fighting male and female Team Magma grunts on the way; Personality Transplant - Tabitha has been getting personality tips from Gary Oak from the main series; A bag full of cats - Courtney has been given a weird out-of-it (Generation VI) personality, well I guess it's better than sharing a personality (found out that she and Shelley have the same dialogue, but swap between the paired games in Generaion III)****; Morbid curiousity - Maxie tells Courtney she will remain behind to cover the sub's escape, but they will meet again, however I wondered if it would be in this life, or the next; Fried Chicken One Vision - Courtney stares at the pwetty wed siwen red siren, and gets a vision of the future, one with fire to match the red siren (you pyromaniac loon); Suffering Sapphire in silence - Sapphire/May does not feature, nor do any members of Team Aqua! Right, so that's a bit about all the episodes so far, as I've said, with Episode 7, it was one sided, in that it only featured from one of the paired games, I'd hope that there's a Sapphire episode on the way too, but probably not! I mentioned above two characters (Blue and Silver), who I felt might be voiced by certain voice actors, however checking the information out, this appears to be untrue! I do have some other characters that I feel might be voiced by certain voice actors too, however I do not have a way to confirm it; Tabitha reminds me of Thom Adcox Hernandez, and one of the male grunts from episode 4 reminds me of Derek Stephen Prince, whilst another reminds me of Spike Spencer or Grey Ayres - not sure about the other male grunt, or the female grunt, although I feel the latter might come to me, at somepoint! Just thought I'd include some pictures now: Lorelei grabs life by the Pokéball; Drunk on the job, not drunk on the job; Forward Slash Courtney! [spoiler=Images] Need to make a post on the Origin thread at somepoint, not that I could actually find it (was hoping it came up as "similar threads" when I was creating this one, but appears not), that said, need to re-watch it first ! * - I was reading a reference to the Battle Frontier was made in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, in that a talent agent working for Scott, had signed up a person (Lucy) to be the Pike Queen for an upcoming project... no mention of Greta, Anabel or any of the others ! ** - I think this could so be done, I mean all you need to do is have the Game Corner open, however every machine is being used by an Undercover Police agent, who tells you to stop bothering them, and gives you some game coins which, might add up to at least one Pokémon from the Game Corner, and then the rest of them can be found in the wild, after you beat the Elite Four, or something! *** - according to wikipedia, it appears that there was an event in HeartGold and SoulSilver, that also confirmed Silver's heritage, however not played Generation IV yet, so I wouldn't know! **** - it appears that the Admins of Team Magma and Aqua go by code names, rather than real names, as the Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby chapters of Pokémon Adventures set up the new designs (and personalities) for the Admins in the remake games, as seperate characters to those from the original Ruby and Sapphire chapters!

So this was in the General Anime section, no wonder I missed it ! Saw the third movie recently, not really a fan of this one, although SSJUP81 has a higher opinion of it! When I thought of Favourite Digimon, the first one to pop out the top of my head was... Lilamon: She's like a hippy Lilymon, with arms like loose flowy sleeves, legs like flared jeans, and a flower on her back, similar to Shurimon, with his shuriken; If we're going for specific Lilamon, I like both the one in Savers (partnered with Yoshino), and the one in Xros Wars, who gets upset if Stingmon denies their relationship, "Stingmon wa baka" (or something)! After that, other Digimon popped into mind... Cho-Hakkaimon: She's a former Angel Digimon, committed a crime, so Orphanimon banished her, and changed her into her current appearance, a Female Digimon in a Pig Costume; If we're going for specific Cho-Hakkaimon, there's only the one in Xros Wars II, who is just great, angers easily, and cute when angry, heck, even when she's not angry! And then another... JetSilphymon: She has a plane on her head, she wields a giant pinwheel (better picture of pinwheel here), I don't think I need to say anymore... most of her design has something relating to aviation; Unfortunately, she's not made it into the anime, she would be Izumi's double spirit evolution, had Frontier featured more double spirit evolutions than Takuya's and Kouji's... come on Digimon, -tri- is giving everyone fair treatment in Adventure (everyone to Ultimate, eventually), so let's extend this to the other series, I've even got a concept for it! I guess those are the main three that I want to put forward, hower there are some others I want to mention! [spoiler=Other Digimon]Those Digimon are: Ceresmon - appears to be a giant bird Digimon, carrying a forrest on its back, but that's a "shell", and the true body is a little humanoid Digimon, resting on "shell's" head; Mervamon - a female Digimon, that initially orders her partner round, rather than the other way around (Xros Wars, specifics rather than species as a whole), falls in love with Beelzebubmon, armed with a snake for a left hand, Medullia! Not actually adding them to the list, but found a pretty cool picture of Orphanimon, without her helmet, and Witchmon! This thread reminded me of some posts I've made in the past which, include the idea of what Juri and Leomon's biomerge would have been in Tamers, if the events of that series had been different, and what the Ultimates to the 02 Digimon (including Hikari and Takeru's) could be, in relation to Jogress, including alternate dominance (Stingmon instead of XV-mon, etc.), and normal evolution (as the original chosen children did, in the original series)! Anyway, that's all I was going to say, unless I think of anything else !

True, you empathise with Shuuji, that said, I think he starts off as quite uncaring toward Chise (I think, been possibly ten years since I watched it), but his opinion changes, possibly as he watches her slowly become more of a weapon! As I've said, there's an OVA and Live Action (CG mechanical tentacles... I think, also ten years since I watched it, not sure I've even still got it), you can also watch, and the manga which, has a different ending to the anime!

Hey DS, notice you've not been online for a bit, not one to talk myself -I was staving off logging on until I finally got round to watching the latest Digimon Adenture -tri- movie-, don't know if you've dropped in or not, but not logged on, however updated my most recent post, on my thoughts regarding Appmon - senshikoi!

I didn't actually check, I bailed the first sign of choking, whilst it was still loading! I will have another attempt, but I will wait for these downloads to finish first! EDIT: Was planning on testing the gallery yesterday, but was too shattered, when my downloads had finished! It seems I bailed prematurely, or at least, with three tabs open, one of them being the gallery, the page loaded fine, there was a slight choke, but after that, it was fine! I'm drooling at Nanoha, all those pictures... but in a "that's an awesome series" sort of way! I say series, you've used pictures from Movie 1st which, is ok, but I prefer the series - the madcapness of fighting a giant kitten, the mutant tree, Nanoha's phone alarm tone -I want that alarm tone-, etc.! Same goes for Movie 2nd A's, the series had alternate colours Nanoha and Fate (Aria and Lotte), and I'm sure something else... but I appear to have forgotten! That said, the addition of Linith, in Movie 1st was good!
-
No, I've heard of it, just never read it, I was going to say "it's boxing right?", but Hajime no Ippo gives that away!
-
Yeah, I know, I will do, at somepoint! There's even a live action for it too!

Which movie to pick? Digimon Adventure -tri- Movie 3; Sayaka: The Cute and Careless Girl; Oneechanbara: The Movie - Vortex; 009 - The End of the Beginning; 009 Re: Cyborg; Cutey Honey; Gantz! Technically I watched Digimon Adventure -tri- in the Crunchyroll episode format, and have already discussed it in the Digimon section of the forum, Gantz, I've not watched yet, so that rules that one out, as for the others... which ones wouldn't paint me in a negative light? [spoiler=Sayaka: The Cute and Careless Girl (6/10)] Based on a cancelled manga (although it did spawn a sequel), it revolves around Sayaka Tsuzumi, a girl with an overactive imagination, when it comes to ecchi! She has a crush on Yuki Ito, but feels he is out of her league, until one day, he asks her to tutor him in mathematics, can Sayaka keep her imagination, and actions in check whilst being so close to Yuki? Pretty harmless fun, very ecchi in content, spawned a sequel, although not been able to find that; I pretty much only found this one by chance, I'd previously been searching under the manga name (Tennen Kajuu Sayaka)! The movie is actually a mix of events from the first manga series, and the second manga series (Shin Tennen Kajuu Sayaka), and integrates everything together quite well! [spoiler=Oneechanbara: The Movie - Vortex (7/10)] Based on the Oneechanbara game series from D3/Tamsoft, it revolves around sisters Aya and Saki, who encounter Misery, a girl that knew their parents, when she and they had been captured by Himiko! Misery tells Aya and Saki that she can get them to Himiko, in order for them to kill her, only to find that she has led them to elsewhere, in an attempt to kill someone else, Kei! More harmless fun, not the first stab at adapting Oneechanbara, as there was another movie before it, however I feel that Yu Tejima definitely looks the part of Aya! Can't really compare the two movies in relation to story, as I can't really remember what the previous movie was like, apart from cast! The movie canon does make some changes to the characters, such as with Misery and Himiko, and in the beginning, Misery doesn't wield her iconic weapon! [spoiler=009 - The End of the Beginning (4/10)] Based on the manga by Shotaro Ishinomori, it revolves around Mylene Hoffman, in a world still divided by the Cold War! Mylene Hoffman is a spy for the Western Block, and has been assigned a mission in J Country, where she encounters an individual called Chris, and is attracted to something about him which, causes her to jeopardise her next mission, causing her own organisation to turn on her! I enjoyed the anime (the cameo of Gerry Anderson stuff, and added references to Cyborg 009), but this movie, there's a lot I find wrong with it, although one of these facts, regarding Chris, I actually found out, is quite similar to the events of the manga; the movie starts in a similar way to the series, then goes off on a different route; Mylene has zips on her jacket, over her chest, to which I thought, easy access to her guns, but no, to access those guns, she has to unzip at least two main zips...; looked like Mylene was going blonde, to match the manga/anime character, but no, it was a wig, shame; zombies... why!? [spoiler=009 Re: Cyborg (5/10)] Based on the manga by Shotaro Ishinomori, it revolves around nine people that were operated on by Black Ghost, turned into cyborgs, and then escaped! Joe Shimamura appears to be an average school kid, however has become disillusioned with what appears to be a never ending school life, telling his girlfriend, Tomoe as much! In reality, he is 009, and has had his memory erased every three years, in order to live out a normal life, however when the world is in trouble, it is up to Françoise (003) and Geranimo (005) to wake him up, and save the world! Again, had some problems with this movie, it's by Production I.G. and Kenji Kamiyama, however the content is a bit bizarre "his voice", the events that lead up to the ending, and how Françoise and Geranimo go about waking up Joe, and by making the characters look more realistic, you lose the charm of the character designs, such as Jet (002)! [spoiler=Cutey Honey (8/10)] Based on the manga by Go Nagai, it revolves around Kisaragi Honey, an Office Lady, that's also the super heroine Cutey Honey! When her uncle is kidnapped, Honey attempts to save him, forming friendships with Aki Natsuko and Hayami Seiji, whilst doing battle against Panther Claw, the organisation responsible for killing her father! Watched it after watching New Cutey Honey (wish they'd finished that series)! The movie manages to capture an anime feel to action scenes! First of three live actions; I feel there are certain things that Eriko Sato (this version) does better, and certain things that Mikie Hara (series version) does better; can't comment on Mariya Nishiuchi's performance (Cutey Honey: Tears), as just out in cinema! It's a shame that Eriko Sato had a bodysuit under the costume, but oh well! Lastly, is just great; Honey's expression! Ok, so that's everything, please don't judge !

ViVid Strike!; First Impressions / Episode 1 Discussion
senshikoi replied to Bard's topic in Anime Discussion
Need to watch this at somepoint, although I should probably finish Vivid first, even though, given there's a time skip, and the fact the manga for Vivid is still on-going, I think, it wouldn't make a difference; behind on Innocent/Innocents too! When I saw that this series wasn't based on a manga, I actually took umbridge, however the original series and A's aren't based on a manga, nor is StrikerS, although it does have a manga! I hope the omission of "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" isn't hinting at a disagreement with Yukari Tamura and King Records which, is something someone on aniDB mentioned! Especially as that might put Movie 3rd on hold, and I'm personally hoping for a Movie 4th, based on Force! Although, on the whole, I prefer the original series rather than the movie adaptations, however they are interesting! -
Another unlikely source, Kamen Rider Gaim: Doing a job means making life better for a stranger - Kazuraba Akira I only started watching the series as I found out Minami Tsukui was in it; she played Chie in Persona 4 Visualive! That said, I'm now trying to weigh up whether temptation to watch Drive, and the other Kamen Rider series is strong enough!

I have a bus stop at the top of my road, where buses are usually every twenty minutes (I can walk a bit further, and catch a different bus that arrives in those twenty minute intervals, forming a ten minute service with the other bus), or I can walk down my road, about 15 minutes, and get a train, although that's one every hour!
-
I would have liked the one with Nanoha, however it seems you were right to call browser crash, as when I tried to load it, the browser started to choke !

I don't know, I feel that the live action was quite clever, I mean the new plot with Misora Naomi in the live action, was just great, and how L was more clued up as to who Kira was! I wasn't a fan of the timeskip in the anime/manga either! I've still yet to see what the Live Action Series is like however, and then there's the new movie on the way which, apparently is a spirit sequel to the movies in which, two individuals are given the D.N.A. of L and Light, or something, and thus the battle continues! Apparently there's also to be a Live Action mini-series, relating to the new movie, and actually, I didn't even think about the US movie on the way, that you've referenced to!

You wound me m'lady *staggers backwards, as if shot through the chest*! I've only just watched it now, for some reason I've been putting it off, maybe it was, I just wanted time to watch it, and then comment straight after, who knows! I must say, I wasn't a fan of this movie! Anyway, I will now comment on your first post from 25 September: [spoiler=Responses to Post 1]Wow, Patamon... Yandere much? What was with the happiness of being infected? I know to lock my meat cleaver in the draw when you're round in the house, not that I have a meat cleaver: one, I would be too effing scared to use it, and two, I'm vegetarian ! I know Patamon was fighting back the tears a couple of second later on, but before then, I was scared that a Yandere Patamon might come out of the television! I personally don't know why Takeru told Meiko that Patamon had been infected, however yeah, I can see what you're saying about someone who knows what you're going through, someone to talk to, support you, etc.! Instead of their usual methods, the "unknown entity" decides to take control of Hikari via technology which actually made me think of a line in Batman Begins; "Over the ages, our weapons have grown more sophisticated. With Gotham, we tried a new one: Economics." (Rha's Al Ghul)! With these scenes, I thought the conversation made reference to the emergence of a Digital God, however, as Digimon Gods have already featured in the Adventures Universe, perhaps I am mistaken with the conversation's direction! I'm sure Koushiro's parents were aware he hadn't been to school, or home, they just understand that he is working hard on something, although yeah, you'd think they'd have dropped round the office, rather than Jou having to come in and play the role of his "mother"! Yeah, as you mention in your later post, it is more so the chosen children moving on *starts singing "Moving On - AiM"*, rather than forgetting, however there are some series in which the removal of element "x" from an equation, would result in "y" and "z" loosing their memory pertaining to them... I'm probably thinking of time travel! Personally I thought Hikari sensed the glitches in the Matrix Digital World which, is what she was commenting was wrong, and I thought it was more than just Hikari that noticed, but I'd have to re-watch, although as I mentioned, I wasn't a fan, so not sure when I will ! I am slowly starting to agree with you that Himekawa could be evil, I mean was that a smile or a smirk when she was in the Digital World, and Gennai revealed himself to her? Sora getting all huffy over the mother comment was pretty cute! I think we got an Instrumental of Butterfly in that scene too, although, if that's the case, I think it features quite often in the movies, it's just it doesn't quite play the same way as the original song! Just noticed that my attempt to sound like Golem, was marred by the fact I put the correct spelling [tricky], rather than the Golem spelling [tricksy], so just to say it again, it should be: "These shapeshifting Digimon [Villainessmon] can be tricksy, although if she is a Digimon, as they're technically genderless, then she isn't being tricksy !" It's a good job I mentioned that Taichi and Yamato feature in the next poster, along with Sora, as I didn't noticed them when I glanced at the poster again! So with Mugendramon on the next poster, do you think that the Dark Masters are back? Oh, oh, oh, have they rewinded time to the point of when the Dark Masters were first defeated by the first chosen children? Which means that they are their own grandparents the second chosen children AND the first chosen children, that saved the Digital World! Now for the second post from 25 September: [spoiler=Responses to Post 2]It seems to go against my theory that the Infection was caused by "Hypnos Prime"! Although it's interesting that Meicoomon knew who Meiko was, when meeting for the first time, however thinking about that, I think it is the same for not just the main chosen children in the series, but others as well, Ogawa... if I've got the name right! Interesting how Meiko's Digivice had a big cross on the screen, like "beware plague", when Meicoomon appeared! Also speaking of "Hypnos Prime", it seems that Hackmon is working for them, unless he's working for Alphamon, but I think it's "Hypnos Prime"! I'm also wondering with this revelation that Meicoomon is the origin of the Infection, whether this makes Alphamon, an anti-hero! That's quite true, it only took about 4 hours and 22 minutes to acknowledge the 02 chosen children, however even then, they didn't do much, I mean does it not seem strange that no-one was answering at the Ichijouji Residence? Would you not try more than once? Did they not think to check on Daisuke, Miyako or Iori? To further this, no-one enquired about Ken's D3 that Himekawa had, I mean surely there should have been questions of "Why do you have that?", or "You've seen Ichijouji then?" I noticed in the scenes when Yamato calls round to see Takeru, Takeru calls Yamato "Aniki" which, I don't think he usually does, but then perhaps I'm used to the original series, as I believe Takeru calls Yamato "oni-chan" in that! I'm now trying to think what Takeru calls Yamato in 02, and in the other -tri- movies, I think "nii-san" for -tri- at least, but I could be wrong! It was quite cute with Sora ringing round the other chosen children, to check that they were ok! I think Jou was even baiting the hook earlier (when he was in a happy mood), with Koushiro, hoping Koushiro would ask about his girlfriend! The fact that the Digimon snuck out of the office actually annoyed me, it was just like reckless abandon, although I guess you could argue that they have child-like minds, I mean, even the evolutionary stage (for most of them) is a hint to that, child level! Another thing that annoyed me was the amount of times Agumon brought up food, or if something was edible... he wasn't that bad was he? I liked how Himekawa swooped in to catch Hikari, like "Himekawa catch!" For some reason my glasses became rose tinted, even though I didn't feel that any yuri was happening! That said however, when Tailmon says that she's got something to say, I'm sure she was directing it at Himekawa, although apparently not, as she doesn't talk about it, until she's left! Tailmon also has the claws out for Himekawa, asking if she can really trust Himekawa with Hikari (taking her to the hospital)! I was surprised of Tailmon's evolution to Angewomon, that said, I'm now trying to remember if any of the others evolved to Perfect (without it being a step onto Ultimate) in the previous movies! Also I seemed to have missed when MetalGreymon evolved into WarGreymon, and also how that happened, unless Infected Digimon can evolve on their own which, begs the question, why didn't any of the others evolve to Ultimate? I personally would have thought that the Holy Ring would have protected Angewomon from infection, however if that was the case, I guess Orphanimon would have been on the movie poster! Also I was confused on the Back-Up Space's effectiveness, as it did not seem like MetalGreymon or Kabuterimon made any REAL effort to get the others into the Back-Up Space! I didn't feel Rosemon was a convenient evolution, however I agree here with HerculesKabuterimon, this one definitely felt convenient to me too! Ok, so my own points I will raise, that haven't been covered by SSJUP81: Himekawa knew, that Meicoomon was being targetted? Wait, did I already know this? Don't think I did! Yamato blushes when he tells Taichi as other chosen children can obtain Ultimate, there will be less reliance on Omegamon! Meiko has parents!? I thought she was an orphan financially supported by Himekawa, or something! Mimi kisses Meiko on the cheek? I thought Mimi went to America, not mainland Europe ! Yamato is not a person by a treeless plain (tundra), according to Mimi! L's voice changer, available a dime a dozen, get yours now, and create an annonymous video today! Digimon pop up during the glitch, in the scene with the aeroplane? YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!! It was AlturKabuterimon that said it, not Meicoomon, as I previously thought! Another Butterfly featured before the chosen children departed for the Digital World! Right then, lastly: What did you mean by that? I noted that the infection was changing 1 and 0 (as used in a binary number system) into 2 which, is linked to two (such as binary star), and that binary features in the evolutions, but did you mean something else?

I need to get round to finishing that, but yeah, that's a sad one too! Although the Pokémon references are great; especially given that Nokémon Generations II and III are the reverse of Pokémon Generations II and III (Precious Stones Generation -Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald- then Metal Generation -Gold and Silver-)! I think I might have recalled other sad series, but seems, if I had, I've forgotten them now!
