For me, a feel good anime is one which I can get lost in, and maybe even emotionally wrecked from watching, some anime which have affected me are A Silent Voice, Orange and Your Name. What anime (if any) have emotionally wrecked you, and you still absolutely enjoyed it because of how much it affected you? -
For me it would be the Garfield Christmas Special from 1987 and Tom and Jerry - The Movie from 1992.

How do I even follow this ... Okay, so after the shotgun wedding with them, moving into the trailer that travels with the show, love them no matter how long their beard is, I'd jump into the ocean and wrestle a shark, tame the thing into thinking it's a dolphin, and gift it to my wife as a present, because ya know "why not?" -
I don't know why, but I was expecting a picture of something... hang on, oh wait... because I can follow orders does that mean I'm your pet?

Make lunch and invite them for a picnic to watch the cherry blossom fall -
For me, I think it's better to experience something of interest instead of focusing on reviews, for example I've watched anime in the past where the reviews were terrible but I'd absolutely love the shows I think that's the best decision
