I don't know how broadcasting works over in Japan. But I know a lot of shows here are given a 30minute block, but the show is actually less than 30minutes because of the commercials. It's becoming less common though It could just be a hold over standard. Sort of like how music is typically around 3-5min long because of old recording and radio capabilites/restrictions.

Any pets we've had pass away is usually due to illness and we had them taken to the vet to end their suffering. One of my cats went missing and never came back, we know he probably got caught by the coyotes. I had him for 11 years there about

Awesome! I had looked at some reviews from sites that do that sort of thing and it seemed to be mostly positive. I really wanted to hear about it from someone experienced with the brand though. So I'm definitely glad I finally met someone that has one haha. Now that I've decided on what phone I'm getting, I'll just need to browse carriers closer to when I get it to decide if I stay with my current company or choose someone else

I tried watching it when it first came along. I was a bit interested, but I guess maybe just not enough because I haven't really bothered to watch more

I don't. Sometimes my mum and I will jokingly say, "Japanimation," though.

I can't remember who showed it to me. It was a couples years ago that I saw it for the first time. You know, I really liked it. But I just couldn't stand any of the cutesy or humour crap in it. It almost made me stop watching it.

I've only seen the first season. While I find it okay, it doesn't make it onto the list of my favourites. I took a peek at the manga and it seems like I might enjoy that slightly more.

If there's an anime or show or movie or whatever that I like, then I'll get the blu-ray (or dvd if blu-ray unavailable). Anything to do with PC though, I get digital. I stream most of the things I watch/read though

I've never gotten rid of a console. I might get rid of my PS3 though since we have two of them and mine is tucked away in a box. Perhaps I'll sell it one day. I have a 3DS XL that I never touch, so I gave it to my boyfriend. For phones, I've generally just used them until they don't work well anymore, then I upgrade and recycle the old one. Or, in one case I upgraded early so that I could give my old phone to someone who needed it because theirs broke and I owed them some money anyway. I only just bought my second laptop this year. What I'm doing with my first one is turning it into a karaoke system for my mum for Christmas. Right now she uses a karaoke disc player and has over 400 discs. So I'm transferring everything onto a hard drive for her, that way everything will be digital and much easier to manage.

You can't really generalise one or two shows to be great introductory anime. It really all comes down to what sort of person you're dealing with and their interests. My brother-in-law didn't really care for anime much (and still doesn't, he's usually too busy to watch anything, anime or otherwise), but Gantz is what got him interested a bit more in it. Gantz is also what got my boyfriend hooked on anime. For myself, I grew up watching standard stuff like Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Cardcaptur Sakura, Digimon, Samurai Champloo, Basilisk, and a bunch of others. It was just a normal thing for me to watch on the TV and I didn't have much idea about the concept of anime. What got me actively pursuing anime though was when someone showed me Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I've been thinking about getting the Oneplus Three in the New Year (when I have some more money again haha) What's your experience with the One? I haven't met anyone else that has a Oneplus phone

@RyePotatoes, credit cards aren't the only way to get debt lol. My debt is because of my student loan I have the money automatically come out of my account each month and because it's such a regular thing that I don't even touch, I always sorta forget that I'm paying off a loan lmao
