I know this thread might be a couple months old but I agree with this so much. Armin is one of my favorite Anime characters ever because he's absolutely and undeniably adorable, along with how smart he is, and how he's such a good friend to Eren and Mikasa. I love everything about him because even though he isn't very strong he still keeps everyone alive with his smart battle plans and quick wit; I absolutely hate it when people diss on Armin for "Not being tough" or "Looking like a girl" because 1. If you were living in that world would you be able to fight the titans? No, most likely not. At least Armin pulls his weight by keeping Eren in check -Cause Eren can get pretty crazy at times- and making the plans that save their lives! And 2. Armin is the only guy I can think of who can pull off that hair and I personally don't think he looks like a girl at all. Levi is also one of the best Anime characters I've ever seen. He has seen a lot of pain in his life as you said @Aynami and he still soldiers on and keeps his cool even when everything's falling down around him. He's also pretty hot too, just saying. But I love how he acts and although he's not as tall as some are, he is still just as great if not even better.

Well I'd be a mix of them all because I am Anti-social until I find the right person but if I ever did I would do anything for them, I act like I don't care most of the time but do act rude too even though I'm really just shy inside.

I like the more realistic looking Anime like Attack On Titan and Death Note, Tokyo Ghoul is also a favorite style of mine. Eren: Looking at Attack On Titans Animation you can see how realistic the characters look, Eren's eyes are not unrealistically large and his face/body proportioning is very realistic. Light: Once again Death Note's characters were very realistic seeing as you could easily find someone who looks like Light, his eyes are the natural size and his hair although Anime could easily be found in real life. Ken: Ken Kaneki is pretty much your average high schooler, although most Anime make the eyes extra large and the hair unattainable great looking Ken is rather natural in his features and proportioning. I do like the less realistic Anime styles like Sword Art Online too though because I've always liked the big Anime eyes that everyone finds so cute, but the Dragon Ball Z style just isn't really my thing. I prefer realistic Anime's but Sword Art Online's style was very beautiful and also amazing.

This has happened quite a few times with Anime shows because a lot of the scenery is based on real places which I find to be very interesting and cool.

They are great and I'm sure you will love them because, yes there is a lot of blood and gore but the characters have so much development with still an air of mystery which is quite amazing if you ask me. It's not exactly what I was excepting, it's actually much better and I think you're going to L.O.V.E it! Ps. I heard season 3 should be out soon but don't know exactly how many season there will be, still asking that question myself actually.

I don't really get why they make live action films of Anime because it wasn't meant to be a live action movie. If you're watching Anime and thinking, "This would be better without the great art and adorable characters." then you should just stop watching, -If you do in fact watch live action Anime films I do not want to sound rude, I just dislike that some people DON'T watch Anime at all and instead watch the live action stuff- And I've been very disappointed with the live action adaptions of Anime because they fail so horribly. I was thinking of watching the live action Attack On Titan movie because I thought maybe they could get that one right because the art in the Anime was meant to look realistic and it pulled that off very well, although the Anime would easily be able to translate over to a movie they butchered it horribly and I don't understand why. Looking at the pictures from the movie I was utterly disgusted when I found out that Armin wasn't even blonde! Yes, that probably isn't even a big deal for some people but I'm a perfectionist and really pay attention to details so the fact that he wasn't blonde really upset me, I also read the synopsis on the movie and almost every review was saying it was quite bad and was no where near as good as the show. So if they couldn't get an Attack On Titan movie right which is pretty much already realistic looking and sounding then how do they expect to pull off a video game world with unrealistically beautiful scenery, adorable voices, and people? I just don't think these live actions films are or ever were a good idea.

I agree with @SAO LILDOOP about Mikasa, but I also think Asuna and Sinon should be up here too.

My two biggest Anime crushes are ... L Lawliet from Death Note: I find him to be very mysterious, eccentric, smart, and cool. I love the aura of mystery around him, the fact that he's super smart but not very prideful is also very attractive, I love how cool, calm, and collect he is, and I find his eccentric ways to be very cute and adorable. My second biggest Anime crush is Eren Jaeger from Attack On Titan ... I like how stubborn he is and how he never gives up. He might not be the best fighter but that never stops him, he's also very caring even if he struggles to show it at times, I like how much rage he has and even if he gets out of control some times he has the utmost of good intentions and never backs down from a fight even when it would probably be the best idea ... He's a very good friend and even though he sometimes doesn't show it, he would do just about anything for his friends. I also love how tough he is and even though he's cocky at times I find it rather cute. His backstory always makes me feel sad for him but the fact that he came out of that and still fights makes me love him even more, he's just so strong and even if he's not the strongest he has the most will power.

Shipping fandoms do become pretty aggressive from what I've seen but I personally don't ship very much, when I do it's characters I think will actually get together and actually make sense being together.
