  1. And then the thread became alive again! Hopefully!
  2. Happy birthday! \o/

  3. Hard to say! I imagine this game will be over within a week, but I don't know if people will be up for another round immediately afterwards. I definitely wouldn't mind hosting another if there's interest, though.
  4. Nearly 24 hours without a single vote, or any conversation leading to one? Pathetic.
  5. You're suddenly looking quite golden.

      Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

  9. The crime scene itself is just a bit flavor text, generally - including here. Nothing to ponder over too much. The note is just an indication that SAO had a special non-traitor role, though he sadly did not get a chance to use it. Oh, just to be clear - Day two has begun.
  10. Haha, no worries. When the next game starts up I can help you understand what's going on. This game in progress will probably end within a week, if people stay active.
  11. Everyone slept soundly that night, feeling satisfied that, while the act they'd taken during the day had been gruesome, they had ultimately done the right thing. It seemed so simple, so clear, so obvious that this Jobs John fellow was guilty. One person had gone so far as to suggest, during the post-execution revel, that this detective work was so bloody easy that larger cities that could afford to have police forces were wasting their money. And so, as the sun rose, and the people began to filter out of their homes, they did so with a spring in their step and a smile on their face. At least... until they discovered the crime scene. They found him in an alleyway, face down in a puddle of mud with a rather impressive knife sticking out of his back. Most unfortunately, the knife, when removed from the corpse, failed to reveal any hints as to the identity of the fiend responsible for @SAO LILDOOP's murder. In his hand, tightly clutched, was the following note, @zin @Frost @Histoire @Nectar @SAO LILDOOP @John jobs @ItsSammy @Scrooge
  12. Depends on the kind of game, and my state at the time. PC and video games tend to come to me quickly, though hardcore strategy games tend not to be my forte. Fighting games vary heavily depending on the style - some I get almost instantly, some I never get. As for board games, that depends of if it's physical or digital. I pick up physical games quicker than I do digital.
  13. I'd be quite annoyed at being ripped away from my life now that it is finally becoming something that I am happy with, after a lot of less than happy years - it'd be like a bad joke. I'd be quite cross with them indeed. Beyond that, if it had happened earlier on in life I might not have cared that much if the afterlife had turned out to be pleasant.
  14. ... I will take this damn thing once a day at least until I can once again break 110.
  15. Blink several times, before explaining that while I'm quite flattered, I am both already taken and a bit too much older.
  16. Welcome to AF, Jax! It's always lovely to see new faces around here. Nice! What sort of development do you do? Forum stuff is definitely an interest of mine - while I'm no coder, I have been lucky enough to be able to do design work and such for a home brew forum system that my wife developed a couple years ago when we ran our own community. We're actually planning on eventually getting around to tidying it up and reaching more or less feature parity with Xenforo / IP.Board (it's already remarkably close) before probably open sourcing it, which should be fun.
  17. Is there anything I can do to jump-start Kohloo's processes? Taking the mafia death hard?
  18. I used to be one of those folks that tended to watch ALL THE THINGS, and tended not to drop very much. I was younger, much more bored with life, with not nearly as much going on in my day to day existence. My standards for entertainment were lower than they now are, so I didn't really care that much about watching anime that were less than incredible. These days, I'm much, much, much stingier with my time, and not at all against the idea of dropping anime. In fact, to be honest, I'm fairly certain that I've dropped more anime than I've watched to completion during 2016 and 2017. Heck, just yesterday I dropped A Silent Voice halfway through the movie (for reasons Cy~ talked about in the movie's thread).
  19. Knowing a few things about her childhood, I would probably drown to death in complete and utter explosive rage at that alone - to say nothing of death, etc.
  20. I feel like people were setting fireworks off until nearly two in the morning. Have I ever mentioned that I'm not a fan of the fourth of July? Because I'm not a fan.
  21. Zin voted for John Jobs Frost voted for John Jobs Nectar voted for John Jobs Histoire voted for John Jobs SAO LILDOOP voted for John Jobs John Jobs voted for Scrooge Its Sammy abstained. Scrooge abstained. It was late evening when discussions came to a close and the votes had finally been tallied. A murderer was on the loose, someone striking from within the midst of those that now looked upon each other with suspicion. That much had been known. What hadn't been known was the murderer's identity - who they were, what motivated them, and who, if anyone, they were working with. All anyone knew was that if the murders were to be stopped, it would be by their own hands. The common folk would have to rise up and become not only judge, jury, and executioners, but investigators as well. And now, at this late hour, the investigation of the day had been closed. The metaphorical jury had served their verdict, and the judge the sentence. And now, the time had come for the executioners to carry it out. There were no guns. No guillotines. Nobody knew how to build a proper gallows. Drowning and suffocation were slow, and nobody really wanted to deal with them. So, instead, a slightly less eloquent solution to execution was taken - John Jobs was held down, flat on his back as he struggled, begging for mercy both for his own sake and for the sake of his girlfriend, as a large and heavy rock came down upon his head. It was quick. Or, well, it was meant to be. Things don't always go quite as planned. It took a few tries, but in the end, the deed was done. Time would tell whether or not it had been the right decision... but, for now, the discussion turned to who would have to tell Saffue the unfortunate news. This concludes Day 1, and marks the beginning of Night 1. Day 2 will begin after any and all role PMs have been responded to. @zin @Frost @Histoire @Nectar @SAO LILDOOP @John jobs @ItsSammy @Scrooge

    Ask a Cy~

I was just making sure that I was readin' what you was writin'. Don't want no miscommunication going on.

    Ask a Cy~

So ... if I'm reading this right ... I'd be between Frost and Zin, and you'd be between Zin and Kohloo...?
