The Bunk

Ah yeah that's true about the ranks being skipped. I can see it reaching a conclusion soon. Regardless how it ends, it's still been an interesting journey to explore

Well usually after it finishes a main story arc, it'll go back to being episodic for a bit. It also has some subplots to resolve.

I average probably about 6-7 hours of sleep, unless I'm rushing with last minute collage assignments then it'll be about 1-2 hours.

Forgot where I stopped in the anime but I'm reading the manga. The mysteries intrigue me and the characters are pretty likable. I do feel like it has to wrap up though (and probably should've wrapped up sooner.)

I usually use animedreaming.tv and animehere. Youtube can even have full episodes uploaded depending on the anime

The Wire trumps all. The shows I enjoy now are Fargo, Legion (Noah Hawley should be swimming in awards this year thanks to these two shows,) Better Call Saul, Silicon Valley, Sense 8, and some others.

^The series merged some of the manga story arcs towards the end. Hated that the anime did that..

What comes to mind is Tenjou Tenge. It had so much potential as a fighting manga but was executed so poorly. The main character is just some undisciplined hot-headed delinquent who is essentially gift-wrapped all his perks because the plot required it. The show made an attempt to develop him but it came off as rushed and contrived for the sake of making him look interesting. I just didn't buy him at all a protagonist. Then there's also the issue with half the show being flashbacks with a different story and characters..

Eyeshield 21 and (rewatching) Gash Bell

Haven't read a book in forever, but I purchased Brave New World a while ago and I'll read that when I get time

I wasn't overly familiar with the series since I've only seen random episodes from when it aired on Adult Swim. Going into the movie, I still didn't really understand certain aspects of it. The world-building looked visually stunning and the characters and action were decent. Scarlett Johannson was a pretty good lead where I did feel for her character at times. I felt that it got a little boring in the middle though. Plus Michael Pitt was underused. 6-6.5/10. While it could've been better, it's definitely better than previous live-action adaptions.

I watched the first season of the anime but read all of the manga. There wasn't any substantial differences between them from what I remember. I skimmed a bit through season 2 and I think that's where you'll notice the departure...

Greetings anime community. Pleasure to be on here. I am The Bunk, named after a great character on the goatest show EVER made (The Wire). I created an account because why not. Some other forums I subscribed to are pretty dead, so I was just browsing for another and stumbled onto this one since it looks a little more lively. As I'm sure is the case with everyone else on here, I'm a huge fan of anime. Some of my favorites are Gintama, Monster, Death Note, DBZ, and Code Geass. I can't say that I'm much of a discussion-oriented person when it comes to certain things, but if need be I'll try and keep up when possible. I also can't say that I'll be consistently active due to personal reasons. However, I hope that we can all learn from one another and get along like big one happy family. Chou
