  1. If you could create your own Clow Card, what ability would you give it?
  2. Ep 8 of both Sanrio Danshi and Gakuen Babysitters, Hakyuu Houshin Engi ep 7, and I also watched Citrus ep 8 while drinking citrus green tea. Tee hee. ^^
  3. I dropped Pita-ten, I didn't really like the direction it was headed in. So now I'm back to reading Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai and doing about 3 chapters a day on that.
  4. Today I completed Lady Jewelpet, something I've been watching for over a year and a half now. I'll write a review for it next week since I'm writing review for both seasons of Owari no Seraph this week.
  5. Yeah, I know what that's like. It got pretty out of hand and now there's a ton on my backlog, so I'm trying to force myself not to start anything new until I finished most of those at least.
  6. @C_C_S This is actually my first time watching a Precure anime. but I would love to watch the original Futari wa Pretty Cure trilogy someday. Any particular reason for not starting the franchise?
  7. If we're discussing how long to keep with a anime I once saw this show that was 26-episode long, the first few episodes were a little silly but I thought the concept was interesting so I stuck with it--and I'm glad I did, because it turned out to be a pretty great anime by the end. The title was Dennou Coil in case you were wondering. I tend to drop a series if I don't like it after 3-episodes. I was willing to stick with that series for longer though--but I only did so because the concept is interesting, I wonder if that's okay? I like to look at anime objectively--so if I did a review I would talk about what I found worthy of praise, what I found was done poorly or lazily as well as how I felt it could of been improved--that kind of stuff. I like it when a anime has meaning to what happens and I can take something away from the story.
  8. Name: Yoshino Series: Date・A・Live Name: Elize Lutus Series: Tales Of Both are shy and all alone when they come across the protagonist, Both are the youngest of the main characters, Both have puppets, Both have messy hair, They have another similarity--but it's spoiler related. If you've experienced both titles then you probably know what I'm referring to though.
  9. I don't do anime reviews myself, but I plan to get into it soon. When I do I would like to have watched the titles in their entirety before giving my thoughts. I actually have a anime from this season that I plan to give a negative review on, but I don't just want to tell you that I think it's a bad show--I want to also tell you why I think it's bad show.
  10. So far my favorite would probably be the soundtrack for Nagi no Asukara.
  11. I'm getting back into Pita-ten.
  12. @SleepyLeoulf I see, there are but Rebellion is the only original--though I haven't heard very good things about it. And thanks, a fun fact is the girl in my signature (Ringo Ando) is that early concept art reveals she was originally intended to be a magical girl and that is most likely the basis of Puyo 7's transformation mode. You have a good signature too, the words are very true. ^^
  13. @SleepyLeoulf I think there are actually titles where I almost made it to the end of or I skipped a episode and I still count it as completing them since I know what happens. But you've finished Madoka★Magica already, correct?
  14. What is the story behind your username, Optic-senpai?

  17. Akira Tachibana is a soft-spoken high school student who used to be a part of the track and field club but, due to an injury, she is no longer able to run as fast as she once could. Working part-time at a family restaurant as a recourse, she finds herself inexplicably falling in love with her manager, a divorced 45-year-old man with a young son. Despite the age gap, Akira wholeheartedly embraces his mannerisms and kind nature, which is seen as spinelessness by the other employees, and little by little, the two begin to understand each other. Although unable to explain why exactly she is attracted to him, Akira believes that a concrete reason is not needed to truly love someone. On a rainy day, she decides to finally tell her manager about how she feels... but just how will he react? (Source: MyAnimeList) Rather then face the protagonist with the problem of how to tell someone that she likes them, instead it focuses on the fact that the guy that she likes is over twice her own age. How do you make that work? Regardless of whether or not they both love each other through and through, society would not see it that way. It's a interesting premise and the writers seem to know where they're going with it. It's a sweet series by nature, but it has it's fair share of pathos as well. Discuss first impressions of this anime here, a topic for discussing individual episodes will be up shortly.
