When a series has been hyped as much as that one has it’s understandable to be skeptical about whether it can live up to it. Initially I had mixed feelings about it, but episode 19 was where the series potential really shone through (I was literally in tears throughout the special ED - this is just the song, so no spoilers) While there have been some awesome moments since, I don’t feel like it’s managed to surpass it to date. But still hopeful that it can. The biggest criticism for the Entertainment District arc is that final battle relied way too much on ass-pulls. Don't think I could keep up with all of them but will add to my MAL List for a future date. Thiers just so many anime series, to watch from across the decades. As far as action goes, it comes close to Demon Slayer. But I feel it relies too much on blood, gore & shock value at the expense of characterization & writing. I still plan on checking out season 2 if/when there is one though.
