Today I've been helping set up booths in the center and helping with staff to get ready for the weekend activities. We've been going over presentations that will be done for Runefest and our schedules. It's been a very busy day and I've been awake since 4:00 AM. I've been able to meet many of my co-workers in person for the first time since I work remotely and don't live in the UK as many of them do. It's been fun getting to know them in person. Tomorrow I'll be involved in several talks presentations it'll be exciting to meet thousands of players of this game I've loved since I was young and now have a hand in creating content for. I'm looking forward to catching up with you today. I've just woken up and having my breakfast before heading out. I've got around a 3 hour trip there so I'm leaving out early this morning. They say that moving to a new place is one of the most stressful things you can do so I'm glad you've got it sorted. I had plans for today, but I woke up late and had trouble getting myself out of my nice warm comfortable bed. Then I checked my emails and there was a bunch of stuff I had to attend to, by that time it was nearly lunch time. After lunch I couldn't get motivated to do anything much. Waiting now in the airport for that connection and I'll get home around 3:45 A.M. It'll be good to collapse in my bed and sleep awhile. I'm glad I don't go back until Monday I need the break for now after Runefest. I slept in as late as possible today after getting home at 4 or so in the morning from my flight. Despite that though I don't feel very happy because this evening my Uncle passed away.
