What did you do today?

I went out and did my weekly shopping, did the laundry and started a new GFX project.

I had classes so that was mainly what I've done, I'm getting ready to go work on HW (or so I say, I know I'm really about to just go chat for hours on Discord and play games) ~ I was practically able to ice skate between classes today because everything is frozen lol I saw some people just getting on their butts and sliding down the hill on our campus to get to the bottom of it XD

I've worked which sucked my soul out for the most part. The heat went out for an hour or so today because they were doing some sort of maintenance on it - it was the worst possible day to not have heat with the temperatures we currently have. They did get it up and running pretty quickly after however.

I got locked out of class today along with like 50 other students because our teacher is an idiot. He has this policy of locking the door the second class is supposed to start and anyone not there can't come in. Like okay I get it, be on time blahblahblah, but I've never been late before, ever. It takes me around 5 minutes to walk to that class from my previous class and I have about 10 minutes to get there but with all the ice it's not exactly possible to do because they haven't cleared any of the snow or ice. You have to slide down a giant hill that is solid ice to even get there and you have to go very carefully, so getting there takes a lot longer now. Practically the entire class was outside the door and he didn't let anyone in which was the dumbest thing I've ever seen like excuse me for not breaking all my bones to get to this pointless class ¬.¬ 

Whatever I went and had a bagel and sat talking to some dude I shouldn't be talking to. Hooray for bad decisions.

That's just crazy and makes no sense at all. He must be on some sort of power trip, locking one or two latecomers out is one thing, but locking almost the whole class out is seriously stupid.  Good on you for not risking broken bones just to get to his class.

They need an angry reaction on here because that's how I felt reading this. No reason for him to do that other than as AnimeDragon stated, he's on a mad power trip. He should be mindful of the weather outside. Safety first and bagels are better than class so you win.

That guy sounds like a Crazy Eddie straight out of a Niven novel.  Unfortunate for you but good thing he’s only in charge of a classroom.  Idiots like that will be the downfall of civilization.  You have my sympathies.

Today I’m spending the day in my car so I can get some work done on my laptop while the power is out in the house.  For some reason SoCal Edison (my power company) would rather pay dividends to shareholders and bonuses to C-suite execs than invest in equipment maintenance and upgrades that would let them keep the power flowing to their customers when it gets a bit windy.

Yeah seriously  Luckily I won't have him again next year but I'm hoping I can get transferred out of there anyway, so I hope..

It's not that bad  

I finished work and after this I went to the store with @Sakura and we went out to eat dinner at a seafood restaurant nearby then for ice cream.

School classes, which luckily I wasn't locked out of any of them today by some crazy teacher overlord ~

We went to eat seafood yasss I had a shrimp platter with all kinds of shrimp on it and the bacon wrapped shrimp were especially the best  then after I had sea salt caramel with chocolate truffles icey cream. After that I went to the store to buy food/snacks.

The rest of this evening I've most been playing OSRS and talking to people on Disc. @Soramee_ kept hitting me and threatening me with gun noodles and @Sasuke stole my pencil

Today I woke up but I have no plans of leaving my bed. Last night I went out with some friends to the movies for a late showing to see the new Lion King movie.

I just realized I'm not dumb.  I'm just lazy.  I get bad grades sometimes because of skimming instead of reading carefully.  >.>;

Always read everything before doing anything.

I went on a course once and at the start we were all given a sheet of paper with "Read the whole document before doing anything" it then had a load of instructions like write your name at the top of the page followed by 20 other things to do. I watched the other course members busily writing, but I read the whole sheet, the last line said "please turn over" and on the other side was a note which said "Do not do anything, this has been a test to see if you can follow instructions".  There were a lot of embarrassed people in the room!

I sat on the edge of the bed for awhile and questioned all the choices I've made in my life and then I didn't really do a single thing else. Oh~! I made pancakes and eggs at some point but the entire day is just a blur of me staring at the ceiling and laying on various pieces of furniture ~

to be fair, I am allowed 3 chances to submit work as far as I know.  I have 2 chances left for each task.  I should be able to re-submit for a better grade.

I binge watched season 2 of Squid Games, played OSRS, went to McDonald's to get McChickies.. that was about it. I think mostly I laid on the couch just watching tv and I felt bored/uninterested in doing really anything at all ~

Today was pretty nice out, I went walking for lunch and after worked out in the gym on the roof. I had work and finished early that's always good.
