Since i am not Japanese, two things i wonder

Hi,

Two things always surprise me:

1) well this is a small one. But I have seen so many anime where a person needs their own blood (for instance just watched latest ep Gachiakuta). And they always bite in their finger. hahaha what is that. Lets all try it,..if you get a drop of blood let me know

2) What is with the age advice in japan. CR e.g.. If there is a small swear word or you might see a glimpse of a panty, then minimum age is 16+. For the rest itdoesnt matter. So weird. For instance,...ijust started watching the remain of Sakamoto days. This is age 12+. But the first ep in summeris nr 12.And i seriously see a woman kissing a man and then pears him to death. I see a guy using wires to brutally slaughter a man.And hahaha, then he collects his human body parts and puts them in order of size. Yes...ehh 12+ years

Different culture I suppose. I've no idea where the whole idea of biting your finger to draw blood came from. The first time I saw it was in Naruto. But seriously, unless you sharpen your teeth it's more likely you'll seriously mess up a finger in order to draw blood that way.

 The other thing I occasionally see are high school kids who are living on their own because they are either attending a distant school or their family are working elsewhere. I don't know how common that is in Japan, but where I live it would be grounds to call the authorities.

Not sure where you’re seeing that rating. Netfix   lists it as MA (mature audiences) & MAL lists it as R17+

I would think biting your lip would be easier

As I wrote in my book "How to Be An Anime Character" their bodies have at least 40 gallons of blood in them under high pressure. If they tried retrieving blood from anywhere but their finger, it would spray all over the place. 

 

 

 

 

And in Japan legal age for some things is like twelve. 

In anime some people who look 12 are also over 700 years old. Or are in the care of old men who let them play with cursed objects because their parents are dead or on a perpetual business trip.

HMM, my netflix lists it as 12 pkus. Could that be coulntry related. Would be weird. haha maybe i am as blind as a bat
