Frost
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaQ37Efs8Qw Synopsis The atmosphere in True Cross Academy is lively and boisterous in the days leading up to the grand festival held once every 11 years. During this time, Okumura Rin is entrusted with the responsibility of suppressing the berserk Phantom Train. In the midst of his mission, he meets a devil whose appearance is that of a young boy. ------------- So the other day while I was streaming with @Davis , we came across the Blue Exorcist movie, which I was previously unaware had even been released. Being a huge Blue Exorcist fan, I of course wanted to watch this. Below I will list my first impressions and final impressions. First impressions: So, obviously I was excited. Because I absolutely loved season 1 of Blue Exorcist and am currently streaming season 2. The artwork for the cover posters, I'll just start with that. Beautiful! The animation is quite well, a bit higher quality than the first season of the anime, I believe. I also had a lot of hype for the soundtrack since it has a lot of UVERworld, which, they never fail to deliver in my opinion in regards to shounen anime. I do have some confusion in regards to the timeline of this. Because this is after season 1, before season 2 and if you are keeping up with season 2, no one wants anything to do with Rin because of his coming out with being the spawn of Satan... If anyone can cover this up for me, let me know. Final impressions: I enjoyed it. It had good action, good development and some nice emotional parts. I rather enjoyed the rabbit demons character development and the reflection on Rin and his brothers past, how it effected them, etc. I would have liked for the timeline to be a little better explained, but otherwise I was satisfied overall. The ending also left me a bit emotional. T_T I will not spoil anything, but it is worth the watch if you're a fan of this series. Overall rating: 8/10~ Edited January 18, 2017 by Guest

IntoMyWorld
@Kirry Technically, the movie is just a special, im not sure where it sits Canon wise or not, it is expanded on a special chapter that was published at then end of one of the manga. There are also 4 special episodes that were only released in japanese you can find if you do enough searching. Of course when, watching season 2 you need to remember to forget the last half of season one, as that was made up and not canon as the manga hadn't been made past that point, so season 2 is actually the real canon continuation of the forst series from about ep 11-13 ish Edited January 19, 2017 by Guest

Wodahs
ok now I can say I watched it and I did enjoy it but felt it was a little drawn out to its extent and well I almost thought that they were using it to introduce another [spoiler=continue reading] character Usamaro when Rin suggested to Yukio that they should all live together and the brothers bring Usamaro up like Father Shiro Fujimoto did to them now to start season 2 Edited January 25, 2017 by Guest
