Potato chips (crisps)

What are your favourite flavour and brand of potato chips? :)

Just to clarify, I'm referring to the thin slices of potatoes that are deep fried and packed in bags, not hot chips (though they're great too) xD

My all time favourite is crinkle cut lightly salted (or sea salt) goes well with any soft drink or even beer. :yum:

Salt & vinegar flavour is great too.

In terms of brands, I'm in Australia so not sure if you know of these brands but I love Red Rock Deli and Smiths:

Another favourite brand I like is Kettle Chips, any of you have this brand? Honey baked ham flavour is quite nice. :)

Not sure if it really counts as its a tortilla chip and not a potato chip, but doritos are easily my favorite.

Doritos are great, though I prefer the plain ones using their salsa dips. :)

We don't have that UTZ brand here in Australia. But ripple cut - sour cream & onion sounds really tasty. :yum:

As for actual potato chips, I like the bacon mac and cheese ones Lays has/had~

We used to have Lays here in Australia but no longer... :S

When it comes to flat chips, Cape Cod is king. But I always prefer ripply chips and I don't think Cape Cod does those. They have recently introduced 'waffle cut" chips which are a bit too out there for me. When it comes to flavours I prefer simple- salt and vinegar or sour cream and onion as opposed to all these crazy ones they have now. I tried the cappuccino Lays. They suck.

I always thought that those Cappuccino ones looked disgusting...

I tried the cappuccino Lays. They suck.

Cappucino flavour?! Wonder what they tasted like - cappuncino you tend to associate with sweet (due to the chocolate powder).

Also, PRINGLES are pretty good.

Pringles are not bad, though I find they're a bit too "starchy" for my liking. But that could be due to the flavour powder overpowering it as they're stacked versus a bag of crisps which you can shake.

I have no idea, lol. It didn't seem like they are too popular because every place I looked had a bunch of those but very few of the other flavors that were competing with it, and the chips themselves didn't actually seem to sell from what I could tell.
