  2. I think the first anime to leave a proper impact on my life was probably Sailor Moon! It taught me how to appreciate a great group of friends at a young age, and the general message of friendship and togetherness still resonates with me today :3

  3. I'm all for the roleplay section. I think it's worth trying again. Another suggestion I have is advertise our discord and steam group on the main page. So that way members can see we have those things before they join.

  5. When I was younger, Kanon (2006) made me cry so hard, but last night I watched Garden Of Words for the first time and oh my geeeeeeeee, I've never felt so many feels all at once (T▽T) [A faint clap of thunder, Even if rain comes or not, I will stay here, Together with you.] :'(

  6. I would totally agree with this. Inuyasha was the first anime I watched that I consciously knew was an anime. Of course, I had seen others before that. But it was at this point in time I became enveloped in the anime world. Inuyasha did not help me make huge life decisions but it was the first thing I truly felt passionate about and could relate to as far as emotions and feelings. It made me cry in some points. I don't know, it just made me feel a lot of things.

  7. Similar to SAO and a sad or generally emotional anime... hmm... I would check out Erased and Angel Beats.

  8. That is an interesting input~ I am not exactly sure how we would advertise it, but it is something to look in to, I suppose~ I think having the steam group and the discord are for sure a plus. You should run it by @Optic senpai~

  9. Anime movie thingies count, right? If so, Five Centimeters Per Second. The way it plays out over three parts, and the ending, really got me. If not, then Anohana (iforgotthefulltitleplzdunkillme).

  11. I personally believe that anime is best enjoyed dubbed in Mandarin Chinese with Spanish subtitles. This way it is much easier to understand, and more emotion is provoked from the art form. This is my preferred setup when I go to watch my Korean cartoons, and you really haven't lived unless you watch them in this fashion. Of course, if you don't speak Spanish or Mandarin it might be tough for you but languages aren't hard to learn. I became fluent in Spanish within one weekend and Mandarin in three weeks (Mandarin involves learning a whole new alphabet). Everyone should be able to accomplish this feat, especially if I did it, having dyslexia and all. This is very much worth it, trust me. When I first watched Ponyo in Japanese, I barely shed a tear, but in Mandarin with Spanish subtitles I balled my eyes out like a three year old who got hit in the face by an older brother. I know that everyone on here agrees with me on this one, so share your stories of learning Mandarin and Spanish. I'd love to hear them.

  12. Anime has definitely had a huge impact on my life , even though I have been watching it for more than half of my life I still find that once in a while a series will come along and completely change my way of thinking or teach me something new that I would have never previously thought of . For me the anime that have had big impacts on my life are Eureka 7 Usagi Drop Hajime no Ippo Beck Solty Rei Earth Girl Arujuna Naruto They have all affected my life on various ways and have made me change , for better or worse , and I would never wan't to be unaffected by anime. I believe that every anime (excluding one or two genres) has something to teach us whether it be small or big , whether it's something that we know (and need to be reminded of) or not there is always something in anime that you can learn from.

  13. Toooo be honest. I liked Log more than SAO, because, well, Log was more in-depth with the game mechanics, and I rather enjoy games. Also, SAO reminded me of the standard harem situation with the MC. Sooo yeah....
