    I don't like heights either, and as for spiders they really creep me out.

    I'm feeling sad. Today I had an email from my cousin to tell me that my aunt has been moved into a nursing home and is not expected to live for much longer.

    I'd glad to hear that the fire is moving away from you and it doesn't look like you'll be evacuated. The house sprinkler system sounds like a good idea. I hope the fire will soon be out and you'll no longer be on evacuation alert. Please look after yourselves and stay safe.

    I went out into the garden to cut the grass, BIG mistake! I had to give up and come back indoors after about 50 minutes because it's 27C outside and that's too warm for me

      Hey! I actually just posted an update in the Weather thread for everyone. It’s still out of control, but it’s slowed down its growth and is still moving away from us. 
      We’re still on evacuation alert, but I don’t think we’ll end up being evacuated after all.

      I've now read the update, which sounds promising. I hope and pray that the situation will continue to improve and you'll no longer be on evacuation alert. Take care, stay safe.
