1. I recently purchased a Steam controller. It's... interesting. Very cool, but I don't see me using it in place of keyboard/mouse any time soon, it's touchpad is tough to get used to.
2. I'd personally watch the two movies instead of the anime as from what I understand they have some improvements made to them. Either way it's still awesome, but you only need one or the other unless you wanna be REALLY devoted.
3. I much prefer giving or receiving gift cards than cash. Cash to me doesn't really feel like an actual gift. I already have plenty of cash, and any cash given as a gift just gets thrown in with all the rest. I keep a portion of cash locked away in my safe in case I would suddenly need it for an emergency or something and a small amount of it in my wallet, but 95% of my purchases are made with a credit card, meaning in all likelihood I'll never use the actual cash they gave me. Even if I do, I won't really be able to distinguish or appreciate it from the rest if my money. With a gift card, it's something I will actually use and it's distinguished from my other money, so I can specifically appreciate it and feel grateful for the experience.
4. Alright, I'll describe my typical Monday... which is actually Thursday for me. 7PM Wake up, grab some coffee and relax a bit until I'm fully awake. Then, eat, shower, put some snacks together to get me through the night, and get ready for work. 9:30 PM Leave for work; it's only 13.7 miles away so it usually is a 12 to 15 minute drive depending on how much of a rush I'm in. For clarification, I work on Graveyard shift at an alternative detention facility for people convicted of alcohol. For the most part, we mainly get people who were convicted for felony DUIs. 9:45PM I usually get to work at around this time. Graveyard shift does not technically start until 9:54PM, but it is nice to get their early because it is pretty often that some sort of drama or incident went down which we will want to or need to know about. 9:54PM to 12:00AM Head to my assigned security unit, perform a security sweep... and try to stay awake. That is the hardest part of the job much of the time. Books, playing solitaire on the computer, WATCHING ANIME ON MY KINDLE FIRE, and anything else along those lines have all been declared fair game by my boss (have I mentioned I really love my boss?), so long as you are still able to notice if anything happens in the area and you do your security sweeps every half hour or so. Unfortunately, there are many other things that can end up happening at the facility, (one-on-one suicide watches, breaking up fights, running people to the hospital), and we also have a quota of room shakedowns/searches we need to meet each week, so we don't always have quiet periods like this... but it is reaaally nice when we do. 12:00AM to 2:00AM Mail duty. Every single package sent to the facility, we inspect. It usually takes about two hours, but it's taken as much as four and as little as half an hour at times. It's also the one part of the job that I really dislike. Searching through people's underwear that gets sent in... it is not fun. 2:00AM to 2:15PM I go out to do a vehicle and perimeter check, which consists of inspecting our main truck we use for most things, and throwing said truck in 4WD and driving like a madman on the muddy, bumpy, snowy trail that circles the main security fence to check for any holes in the fence or other issues. Another part of the job I love. 2:00AM to 4:00AM This is usually when I end up working as main control officer, which at this point in the shift entails very little. Just keeping an eye on the security cameras, handling any phone calls (which are very rare during this time), and tidying up the control room (because nobody else ever does!). I usually have a snack then too and refuel my caffeine levels. 4:00AM to 5:45AM Someone else relieves me and takes over main control, and I rotate to a new unit, and do the same thing as from 10pm to 12am. Pretty much nothing ever goes on during this time, asides from occasionally transporting out offenders who complete the program which is very quick and easy. 5:54AM Graveyard shift is officially relieved by first shift, and I head home. 6:15AM to 12AM Relax, take care of anything that needs to be done around the house, make overly long posts on Anime Forums, etc. 1:00PM This is usually when I get to bed, and then the cycle repeats itself~ As for my schedule on weekends... there is no schedule. At all. What I do and when I do it is extremely sporadic, some weekends I go to sleep right after getting back from work, other times I've stayed up almost 20 hours doing who-knows-what and then crash and sleep for 12 hours or so.
5. Holy crap... just barely missed a deer on the highway... that was a hellishly close call...

Crashing into a deer vs kangaroo. Not sure which would be worse tbh.

6. I would be inclined to agree, communication skills are by far one of the most important things to have to be able to get and perform well in most jobs.
7. I had jury duty yesturday, on my day off, from 9am to 5pm. 9 to 5 is EXACTLY when I sleep. Oh such fun times~

Sadly... no. It was a coroner's inquiry, I believe it is called. Very straightforward case of deciding how someone died and if it was the result of negligence on the part of prison staff. The cause and time of death were as obvious as it gets, as was the fact there was no negligence. But at least I got a massive turkey sandwich for my troubles.

8. I have an appreciation for chiba art, but only when used in the right place at the right time. In general I'd much rather see regular art styles, but chibis work SO well for certain comedic and silly things, and in those situations I love them.
9. I have no problem with the onsen scenario whether it is fanservice or otherwise personally.
10. I called my boss a "Willy Wonka wannabe" so she threw a Snickers at me and yelled "EAT YOUR F*ING CANDY". This is why I love my job.

While the job itself can be boring or stressful at times, when you have awesome coworkers it's much better~

Your work colleagues and line manager definitely can make or break the job. Sounds like a good team. :)

11. @Evil Bunny of Doom I have that exact same fear with phones! I absolutely dread making phone calls, but I also hate having to answer them too. It makes working in main control at work a nerve-wracking experience! @Optic This makes Trump getting elected sound not-so-bad after all~! Although the whole "home country going up in flames" thing would still be a bit of a bummer.
12. That sounds fun, I like this idea. And it's a lot easier than creating a rebel uprising.
13. Right now... I'm most afraid of the idea of Donald Trump becoming the US President... can I move in with one of you guys overseas from me if that happens please...? I'm house trained and everything.
14. Whenever I try to do the right thing, I fail. This is why I stick to going my own way, and doing my own thing.

15. Here's a random image of Neptune kicking And now I disappear

16. You know you're close siblings when you can use each other as an improvised respiration device~

17. I like that when I tried to make a female character, she kept coming out ugly, but when I made a male and then changed them to female they came out looking fabulous lol Also have to say, the game is MUCH more enjoyable with some certain mods that flesh out some potential it had~
18. Welcome to Anime Forums, a magical place where dreams come true~ Well... maybe not, but it's super fabulous at least with lots of wonderful people, so enjoy your stay~
19. An excellent question~ No clue, but I feel like not understanding the glory of kitsunes should be grounds for disqualification. I'm also super biased though~
20. Welcome to Anime Forums, I hope you have a fabulous time here~
21. Ohhhh yeah I really hated the Good ending, it was so unfair to poor Nepgear who already had it tough through the whole game anyways.
22. Unless you lose, tie, withdraw, or are disqualified~
23. Hoho, that's the joy of it... we'll never know~ Unless you all give up and unanimously declare me the winner~
