    he isn't for me. agh I feel bad saying this!

    i tried to like him afterwards, but the first date was just so awkward i couldn't handle it. it kinda put a bad taste in my mouth?

    i understand people are nervous on first dates, but this was just..............not good.

    i couldn't even look at him the same - gosh i'm a bad person ☹️!!!

      yeah it's kind of a nice anime but i just don't like the protagonist.. coz he acts kind of feminine and his yandere gf is the man in their relationship 🫠

    Hi guys!!! UPDATE!!!

    it was......................really really freaking awkward. like...very awkward. He isn't much of a talker, which I knew, but it was always left to me to start conversations, and if it was the one off chance that it wasn't me starting, he would ask a basic question (what's your favorite type of food? etc). I appreciate him trying to speak, and obviously he was very nervous..but I wish he would have a discussion with me :((((((!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO TALKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Congrats on surviving the encounter.  :)  

      I'm a bit of a non-talker myself.  I can sit quietly all day and just think.  In conversations I often take a while to respond because I think about .. everything before I start speaking.  It takes a certain amount of patience to deal with me conversationally.  I also tend to let people who want to talk talk until they're done talking.  When dealing with new people I tend to ask basic questions to build up a picture of someone before I start on the real conversation.

      That said, once I know someone and especially on topics I'm interested in it is sometimes hard to get me to stop talking.  :D 

      I know nothing about this person so I'm not saying that's what's going on here.  Just maybe an angle or two to consider.

      I understand where he is coming from. I'm really not good at talking to people, I can sit for ages trying to think of something to say and hoping the other person will say something I can comment on. This happens in both 1-1 meetings and group gatherings. Once I've got to know the person/people a bit I don't have so much trouble talking to them, so hopefully this is what will happen with you two soon.

      That sounds good.  Don't worry about being nervous, you never know, he might be just as nervous. I could be the first time he's formally asked a girl out.

      Re:Zero can be interesting, but I struggle with it myself sometimes. There’s enough variety in anime that you don’t have to force yourself to watch something just because it’s popular. Although I also understand the frustration of wanting  to share an anime you enjoy that few other people are into.
