  1. I've decided to pin this topic since it is very active, and gets a lot of similar posting in it to give other topics which are not pinned more breathing room.
  2. Hi Anime Forum we have decided to create a forum specific for gaming discussions. I have noticed a rather large trend of gaming topics posted in chit chat so after reviewing this I thought its time to make it its own thing. Anime is of course still our main go to here at AF, but anime, and gaming go hand, and hand as many of you would agree I am sure. Hope you all enjoy the new section. ^-^
  3. As far as what I am doing in gaming tonight I will be watching a Pokemon Ultra Moon lets play.
  4. granted but they all are knocking at your door, I wish the Greeks knew more then they did.
  5. granted but you hear them all at once, and then get overloaded. I wish computers were even more powerful then we think they will be.
  6. Playing a bit of Minecraft gosh its been like 2 months since I sat down with this game. Built a ship, and now thinking of doing another sea based structure.

Maybe 4-6 years off and on... a friend gifted it to me so we could play together and it was a bit addictive. Was going to add UFOs attacking the desert village but then I got my PS4 and started playing predominantly on it. Best to keep a clock on you or watch the skies for dusk when in survival mode if you want to avoid the native nocturnal life while building. I found it was more difficult to avoid drowning while dredging and working on my ship than being blown up by creepers.

dang I know it is addictive I have been on the off period for a while now, but I feel myself getting sucked back in slowly again.

7 Days to Die & Don't Starve both really have the minecraft feel in ways (7 Days more building and fighting, Don't Starve more with an End Game possibility) if you are ever interested. Both are leagues harder than Minecraft, so not as casual friendly.

I am still sucked into Stardew Valley now. Ahhh...so much fun :)

  7. You a crafty one aren't you. granted but you have to read the manual which is in Chinese. I wish a mars trip took shorter then 6 months.
  8. granted but it is made of the poorest quality plastic. I wish the sky was orange.
  9. granted but it is a fake, and worth only one penny. I wish I had every game console ever.
  10. Thats so true though I wouldn't say it has to be completely serious 100% of the time. Even a serious deep story needs a break to give the viewer a little surprise now, and again. On the whole I do agree with you for the most part.
  11. Hay there Envy how have you been whats new.

No worries I have been going through a bit on my end too the past few days so I understand. You get a new department, or a house.

  12. Yah I mean I tried WoW in its earlier years as well as Guild Wars back in 07, or something like that. I personally just don't like either at least playing them. I don't mind watching from time to time though. I love rp, and RPGs, but MMOs just take way to much time for me personally. I do understand why they are still so popular though.
  13. granted but it happens behind close doors so you cannot see it happen. I wish I had a 2012 Mac Pro right now.
  14. As of yesterday I ended up deciding on watching a anime called blue seed. Its a scfi one good story bit of a thriller, and leans towards a monster a day kinda story. Its really good though. My wifu, and I however are watching My Hero Academia we are about half way through season two, and loving it.
  15. granted but it is in shards. I wish I understood everything about everything.
  16. granted but you are stock there now. I wish to see the edge of space.
  17. Always good finding things you weren't exspecting they tend to be the best. So what other zombie themed animes have you seen.
  18. Technically yes it is more, or less. It dosen't bother me you have a right to your opinion some like it some don't. Sonkarea however is a more traditional zombie anime, and is very good though surprisingly less known.
  19. Ah zombie anime the stuff of all our nightmares. Just kidding of course its awesome stuff. ^^ I would have to say my favorite one would have to be Tokyo Ghoul. Its dark, and a bit tense at times though thats all I am saying no spoilers. Another you may want to check out is Zombie Loan, and Sonkarea. Honestly Sonkarea in my opinion is as good if not better then Tokyo Ghoul at least in terms of the anime manga is a different story with those. Though I think you'll enjoy all of these.
  20. I would say Fan service has its place, and is largely there for a reason. Though like shift mentioned if the anime is saturated with to much then it tends to ruin the experience of the series. A good example of a series with to much fan service I can think of is bloodlad. Has a good concept though the overwhelming fan service is pretty distracting honestly.
  21. Welcome to AF. ^^ Anime is a awesome thing to get into, and very fun learning about the series as well as the community. Can't go wrong with Dragonball Z. Its old, but certainly stood the test of time. Its a great one to start with. I also agree very much that death note is great one to start with. Its a bit deeper then dbz so it'll give you a feel for anime perhaps even more. May also want to check out Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, or the original series if you want. They are some I started with when I was a little further along, but they created a good foundation for me. Hope they will for you too if you chose to watch them. In truth there is a lot of anime out there nowa days a crazy amount honestly. Sp whatever you end up watching you'll learn quite a bit.
  22. Granted, but then you remember the multiverse theory. I wish I had the a arcade in my apartment.
  23. Yes such was the fate of a lot of 90s, and 2000s anime that aired on Toonami at the time. Though I did do some research after first seeing this topic. Toonami had aired quite a bit of anime that a lot of only hardcore anime fans would pay attention to. Not that begainers, or casual fans could find them of course it just seemed odd since a lot of networks like Adult Swim followed the pattern of if its popular we'll air it. Though Toonami was the odd ball here. I honestly think thats kinda awesome of them.
  24. True true it was a bit annoying. Though this is inductive of so many anime compared to manga which is the saddest part.
  25. The first manga I read was Fruits Basket back in junior high. My school had it in the library so I would read what was there during some of my lunch periods. Befire then it was mostly anime.
