So it's getting late & here I am sitting in the dark watching Shiki yet again. I must love to torture myself.

Alright, well I managed to get *some* sleep last night after checking my bedroom thoroughly to make sure there were no demonic entities or vampiric intruders. Geez, I never would have thought that an anime about vampires would freak me out so much but the animation in Shiki is just so damn unnerving!Â

On the 5th episode of Shiki & I'm so freaked out that I'm almost shaking & I think I heard something outside my window! This is going to be a long night LOL!

So Shiki has taken a few episodes for me to warm up to it but now that I have, it's getting pretty creepy.

Having meetings at work for contingency planning in case we get quarantined. Oh boy....

We were doing this as well. Unfortunately we're realtime operations & can't shut down completely and send everyone home but we're thinking about things like sending half the crew(s) home to get some separation of personnel. Most of the staff that can are already working from home. We have 3 other sites around the world too, one of which is in Madrid. Don't know if they're going to be able to stay online.Â
Still in the very early stages of the pandemic but it is already pretty serious. Not doomsday but it has potential for getting out of hand, especially if people start panicking. Next week there will be more testing options here in the US so I expect the "confirmed positive" count to rise quite steeply. Personally I'm in the "knowledge is power" camp and want to know, but not everyone will react well to learning that the virus has already reached their community. How people react to that will be important.

Why? Why do I continue to get attached to characters in these battle animes knowing full well they could die at any time? Don't I ever learn!?!

On the 3rd episode of Terra Formars & wow! The mutant cockroach creatures have freaked me out so bad that I might have to take a break to scrub my house from top to bottom just in case! I love shows that make me react this strongly though. I can tell this is going to quickly become another favorite for me lol!

The Mochi Queen has returned from the local international market where I got some of my favorite flavors of mochi: cacao, red bean, ube, & taro. YUM!

Making broiled spicy lemon pepper salmon & roasted red potatoes for dinner. Indeed, in preparation for my next anime binge adventure I shall feast like a queen!Â

A tall glass of milk, some of my favorite cookies, & a few hours of Attack on Titan before bed...so Heaven has actually been in my living room this whole time, huh? Go figure.Â
