  1. I'm not really into pineapple on my pizza at all but pineapple and pepperoni isn't that bad. My favorite pizza is pepperoni, black olive, and extra sauce. Sometimes I add mushrooms too.
  2. Just had a fruit smoothie, really wasn't very hungry. But I did go to the store today and get two new flavors of oatmeal: banana maple and raisins, dates and walnut.
  3. Right now I'm feeling very creative and inspired. So many ideas buzzing around in my head right now. I'm just in a really good place at the moment. When I feel the urge to create is when I'm at my best.
  4. Going to spend some time tonight working on the outline for my book. I'm glad I decided to do a bit of editing & get some beta readers for the first few pages because already, the engaging feedback and writing technique tutorials I've been watching have really helped me better define my plot and identify areas that could use some work. The highest compliment I've received so far is how authentic and real the world I'm creating seems. That is huge for me because making the readers feel like they are right there with the characters is exactly what I'm going for. There will be 10 chapters, so I've got a Word doc up and I'm just going to jot down what I want to happen in each chapter from one to ten. So far, I've been able to eliminate what would have been some pretty glaring plot holes.

  5. I adore that Rob Thomas quote by the way. So true.

  6. I just started Soul Eater tonight. Only watched the 1st episode so far but I am all in!
  7. Just started watching Soul Eater & I am completely in love with it! ❤️

This animation style is just so cool to me. Once I get my book written, I may need to think seriously about reaching out to the creators & seeing what they think about turning it into an anime. That would be too epic!

      I think you’re gonna LOVE Stein 😁

(it’s an AMV so minimal spoilers)

Yep, I think you are right.

  8. Wow...Season 2 of Fire Force is not messing around! The animation in the 2nd episode is phenomenal & I really like Arthur's character now because finally they've given a bit of an explanation for his delusions. That dude has honestly been through it. Gotta love characters with tragic backstories that go on to totally kick ass later! :)

I love the series visual style & the animation quality of the fights. Likewise the overall story. What I have a problem with is the humor can be cringey at times. I was actually fine with last week’s episode that made me laugh a lot. But when they try to incorporate elements like the old dude’s masochism or Tamaki’s “Lucky Lecher Lure” (gawd, just typing it makes me cringe) into otherwise badass fight sequences it shoots itself in the foot IMO

      Masochism Shield...*bursts into immature giggles*

Ok, I’ll admit I did like how Arthur reimagined his allies (reminded me a bit of the one MHA ending)

  9. Welcome in. Oh yes, Samurai Pizza Cats & Gosick have my vote Hope you enjoy yourself here!
  10. I'm curious...who is your favorite My Hero Academia student & who is your favorite teacher? My favorite teacher is Eraserhead because...Eraserhead & my favorite student is a toss up between Todoroki & Tokoyami because I can't decide what would be more badass: being able to manipulate fire & ice at the same time or having some wicked shadow come out of my back & mess somebody up lol!

  11. Over the years I've mainly written poems, song lyrics, and a few short stories. I love writing research papers on social issues and as an aspiring novelist, I am finding that my preferred genre is supernatural thrillers. I greatly enjoy creating layered characters with troubled pasts. I've been watching some YouTube videos on describing magical abilities and it's really got me thinking about exactly what type of abilities I want my main character to have. I love stories that have intense plot twists and I'd love to add one in my book but those have to be done carefully because a poorly written plot twist can ruin everything.
  12. I really enjoyed this. It has almost an Edgar Allen Poe type vibe to it. Very well done
  13. I just realized that you have a Sonic stage as your banner. Nice!

  14. The raw teenage angst between Haru and Rin is almost too much! Those two need to get whatever is wrong figured out. I love how complicated Haru's character is to pin down and it breaks my heart to see how much Akito and Shigure's emotional abuse has changed him and how he behaves in order to help others. I mean, the guy literally demeans himself at the drop of a hat if it means doing something good for someone he cares about. See, this show really drives home just how vital having a healthy self image is to living a balanced life. I sincerely hope that people who watch this are taking note and finding ways to heal whatever damage has been done to them so that they can move forward in a better direction.
  15. I've been very fortunate so far in 2020. I haven't gotten sick & I still have my job, so those are things I am most definitely thankful for. This year has made me sit down & re-priortize my goals. I've gotten much more serious about improving my health & losing weight, I've actually begun writing my book, I've walked away from people & situations that simply aren't for me, & I'm making some big plans to do a few things I've always wanted to do once all this calms down.
  16. Nice to meet you. I hope you have a good time here
  17. Welcome in. Hope you enjoy your time here.
  18. COVID numbers in my area are rising so the panic shopping has begun again. Oh good grief, here we go...

  19. The story is about a woman who discovers that she has supernatural abilities after kids in her city begin to go missing and must locate a book called The Ruthisian Codex to gain mastery over her powers and find the people responsible for the kidnappings. The lead character's name is Phia and the first chapter explores her seemingly normal life as a budding caterer. Throughout the book, I will describe certain dishes that she makes in detail and include the recipes at the back of the book. I may also include pictures but I'm not 100% certain yet. I'm also considering starting a Discord & hosting monthly virtual brunches where people can create their favorite foods from the book & we can all show our creations & hang out for a few hours. Making recipe videos for YouTube or live streaming myself preparing the dishes is also another idea I have. Phia's abilities and back story all center around Ancient Egyptian mythology and religion. Her love of cooking, her romantic interests, and some of her other hobbies are all tied into the Egyptian deities that she identifies with the most.
  20. Just finished Gleipnir & wow, that was some ending. I can't wait to find out exactly what the Hell is up with Elena.

  21. Jerry Jenkins is an author that I've been looking up some information on lately & I found something that may be of interest to other aspiring authors here. This is a link to some free to enter creative writing contests:

I think I'm going to enter a few while I work on my novel, as well as join a few different online writing communities. Story telling is an art form and I'm looking forward to improving my style.
