  1. What better victory feast to celebrate my defeating the Eye of Cthullu in Terraria than fresh salmon soaked in a lemon butter herb sauce & then wrapped in foil & roasted in the oven & served with steamed vegetables? Nothing....absolutely nothing.

  2. I did it! I did it! I finally beat the Eye of Cthullu!!!! I mean, I almost got all of my NPCs killed in the process but hey, let's not focus on that & besides, if they'd pulled their weight before these drastic measures wouldn't have been necessary. Also, I found another underwater system on the other side of the desert that has some very cool loot.
  3. Hello. Replying to or posting topics in the Currently Airing, General, Chit Chat, or Entertainment channels might be a good place to start. Your channel sounds interesting. Hope your enjoy your time here.
  4. Nice to meet you. I'm quite the fan of Attack on Titan myself. As for Tokyo Ghoul, I watched the first season but really couldn't get into the second season so I dropped it. Hope you enjoy yourself here & make some new friends.
  5. Very nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy yourself here & make some new friends.

  8. RAWR! I am SO close to being able to beat the Eye of Cthullu in Terraria but the friggin' NPCs won't do jack to help me really despite having the banner that gives us an attack boost so now I'm going to have to spend an hour mining for more gems in a den of fire spiders or something in order to upgrade my weapons and armor since I'm apparently the only one in the three story house that I built who cares if we survive....U.G.H.!!! Rage aside, I absolutely love this game
  9. Finished the first season of Natsume's Book of Friends last night & enjoyed it so much that I've started season 2 this morning. I really like the depth of Natsume's character & the growth of his bond with Madara.

  10. What a neat & thought provoking episode this week. I like the spin they're putting on the Evangelist & how she may have shaped history & world religions. I especially enjoyed listening to the woman who is voicing the woman in black. I'm a bit concerned about that first pillar though because who knows what level of impact she'll have on Shinra.
  11. Today's rose. I do love multi colored arrangements!
  12. I took my measurements on August 1st & again this morning & I've made some great progress so I'm very proud of myself. I don't have any set time frame for reaching my health goals but I do strive to make more significant progress by the end of the year.

  13. This episode really touched my heart. Hearing Yuki pour out & sort through his feelings & trauma & fight to overcome the shadow that's been hanging over him his whole life is truly something special. I found it of particular interest when he explains why he chose to help her at first. That desire to stand out so badly even if it's at someone else's expense whether by putting them in direct harm's way or at the very least embarrassing them is a running theme with the Soma clan. And it's not just about standing out really, it's more about honestly being acknowledged. Ayame's personality is a great example of this. Some of the things he does are flat out inappropriate but he slithers all over the rules with reckless abandon not because he's a bad person but because his need for attention is that deep. I'm waiting for the episode that digs into his background a little more despite the fact that the harsh truth behind his attention seeking behavior is sure to leave me a sobbing mess. And that whole exchange between Yuki & Kyo had my stomach in knots. It's like they're different sides of the same coin. They both feel terrible about themselves despite both being good dudes who really do want to do the right thing, they've each got their own tragic super hero backstories that could make Batman himself reach for a Kleenex, & they both love Tohru in opposite ways. Mark my words guys, Yuki & Kyo getting over their differences & becoming friends is going to be the final shoe that needs to drop in order to break the Zodiac curse & hopefully kick Akito right in the face! And I'm sure some of you have caught onto this already but I believe that Tohru's motherly nature towards the Somas is not only her nature deep down, it's also her way of keeping her own mother's memory alive. Also, yes, this play is going to be hilarious!
  14. “I can't explain it very well but it seems that lately, it doesn't matter, human or spirit. If your hearts touch, it's the same thing. When you're all alone, you get lonely, and the first step is always scary. Everyone once in a while, I wouldn't mind them relying on me.” ― Natsume Yuujinchou, Natsume's Book of Friends

I liked it.  It kind of tickles the same part of my brain as Mushi-shi does.

It does kinda remind me of Mushishi in that some of the episodes are just so sad. But the stories are pretty engaging to say they're only 20 minutes.
