  1. Hush was the last movie I saw, and I was fairly disappointed. Started out creepy, but the problem is the killer takes off his mask and starts talking early on in the movie. From that point, the killer goes from being a silent menacing figure to an annoying redneck. Talk about wasted potential
  2. When I think of role models, I think of Koro-sensei from Assassination Classroom. He helps everyone around him strive to achieve their dreams, no matter how unlikely it is for them to achieve it. He teaches his students how to live life to the fullest. Even at the end of season 2, he continues to affect the students in a positive way. But what really got to me was how he dealt with Nagisa's mother. Without going into too much detail, my mother is kinda the same way, but to a lesser extent, and seeing Korosensei stand up to her and defend Nagisa, telling him that only he can control his life, struck a chord with me. In a way it was almost like he was speaking to me. My other anime role model would be Mob from Mob Psycho 100. He's got amazing psychic powers, but he only wants to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. So instead of using his power for self gain, he focuses on improving himself. While every other psychic in the show abuses their power and has some mental problems stemming from it, Mob goes against this idea because he knows that having the power doesn't make you great. Rather, what makes you great is pursuing your dreams despite all your limitations. If
  3. Content. It's been a rough few weeks, but I finally have a weekend where I don't have anything I need to do. I have final say in a few weeks, so that's gonna change the instant this weekend is over, but for now, I'm just trying to enjoy this calm before the storm.
  4. In general, I'm not a huge fan of manga. I'll occasionally read a few for a series I like, but I never finish them. The sole exception is A Silent Voice, which I binged in a few hours. The story was heartwarming and connected with me on a level I never felt with manga, and it really made me want to read other manga as a result. Too bad that was a few years ago, I haven't picked up another one since. heard the movie finally got released though, so I'm at least looking forward to that!
  5. I don't usually remember my dreams, but when I do, they're pretty much always about something that's stressing me out or just something random I'm thinking of. Like last summer when I was trying to find a job, I dreamt of going to a job fair in a giant treehouse where I basically kept getting rejected. Or a few days after Halloween where I dreamt of going to a Saw themed haunted house where you had to play this life sized boardgame to escape, and going the wrong way would result in you getting brutally murdered. Dreams are cool and all, but somehow I prefer just not remembering
  6. Meh. Yesterday I had to give my final speech in speech class, and that basically consisted of ten minutes of me losing my train of thought, stuttering, and generally being awkward as hell. Pretty much since I've just been internally cringing at myself and trying to forget that it happened.
  7. Stressed and confused, trying to get everything ready for my first term of college and trying to get a job.
  8. With the completion of Night in the Woods, I'm reminded of a similar game, Life is Strange. This has led to me listening to the song Golden Hour from the Life is Strange OST a ton. Like, when I need to think, I listen to this. When I sleep, I fall asleep to the 5 hour long version of it. I guess it's just a soothing song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4kCDKhJ4FU
  9. Man, Night in the Woods is simultaneously amazing and depressing with how close to home it hits.

  10. I was blanking on girls with the dual pony tails and was gonna just go with Yuno, and then I remembered the super high school level fashionista, Junko Enoshima! [spoiler=Junko Enoshima]
  11. I'll recommend 2. Firstly, Spook's House of Jumpscares is a free game on steam where you make your way through floors of monsters. At first, you only see cute cardboard cutouts jumpscare you. But soon you start getting chased by ghosts, Cthulhu like entities, aliens, etc etc, and the jumpscares get replaced with genuine scares. Secondly, IMSCARED. IMSCARED is a 3 dollar game on steam that's extremely unique, in that it will put a folder on your PC and send you documents that are needed to progress through the game. It breaks the fourth wall to scare you, and tells a vague but interesting story. I won't say more because the less you know the better. Also, it goes on sale often. Basically, it's a meta horror game that fans of the genre owe it to themselves to play.
  12. Currently the only game I've played is the Hyrule Warriors spinoff, and minus the hilarious voice acting of older games, I don't know much about it. BUT HW has made me interested in the series, so maybe one day I'll dip into the series
  13. Hiya peeps! I'm Toxic, but you can just call me Toxic! When I'm not raving about Danganronpa, I'm either playing some niche horror indie game or watching anime. I figured my friends were starting to get annoyed at all my Danganronpa 3 theories and hypothetical fights between Anime characters, so I came here to talk to other anime watching peeps. So yea. Nice to meet ya!
