None taken!. If the show would've been pure boobage without any story or characters, I wouldn't watch it at all. But some of the characters are kinda cool.

I grew up playing Playstation 1 and playing old games on a computer. When i got older and got myself an xbox 360, i was surprised. Everything was so... Easy. If there's something with mordern games that really bug me, it's just how easy everything is. Of course there's certain genre that are still kinda hard. And there are also people that refuse to make games easier. (I'm looking at you, stubborn game developers! You glorious beasts.) But when when i boot up a new singleplayer game and play it for 20 minutes i quickly realize how it's given me 200+ health potions that i will never even use because there's no disadvantage to dying. You just respawn super close to your death location since the game gives you a checkpoint along with an autosave every 2 minutes. (huh, autosaving. Remember when that was new?) But y'know, even if the new formula of video games kinda suck major ass sometimes, old games still exist. And i do play them for time to time. Even if it makes me painfully nostalgic. lol Anyway, thanks for starting this thread! It's an interesting subject for sure.

Yo! Feels kinda weird saying this since haven't really been on this site all that much, but welcome! Oh, cool! A Norwegian! I'm a Swede, myself. It's always nice to meet other scandinavians. Hey, a good story is most probably THE most important thing in any kind of fiction if you ask me. A good story and setting make the difference between a low-effort anime and a masterpiece. I think you'll like this place. It's full of nice and intetesting people!

It happened about half a year or so I was chatting with this girl online and she was super nice. Then out of nowhere in the middle of the night she said that there was this guy that she liked, and needed advice on if she should ask him our or not. So i said "I don't know anything about the person, could you describe him?" yeah you better believe she described me perfectly. I thought she was confessing to me, turns out i was an idiot. Kill me already.

Hands down, that is the most adorable and relatable thing I've read in a long time. I know close to nothing about that show, i've watched a couple episodes but that's it. But hey, if we find any shows that we have in common I'd love to connect 'em with songs. That sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it?

Thanks, you two. I was really confused there for a while. Now that i think about it, i think a lot ofthease gloryfications are just annoying stereotypes that you can find pretty much anywhere.

So I've been thinking about this quite a lot recently. When i was at a particular age i had this dumb idea that going to Japan would be the best experience ever and that it would magically make everything better, but no, that's not how things work. I think that Japan is romanticized just like how we like to romanticize pirates and knights and stuff, even though we fully know that if we would meet one in real life, it would surely not be a good experience. Listen, i like anime, just like all of you do, but i just can't help but to think when i see scene after scene after scene with stunning landscapes and i can't stand how the internet makes it look like a freaking heaven with perfect culture and society and all that crap. I understand why people are interested in anime and stuff, but for them to look at it like it's the best thing that will ever happen to earth and that every other country in the world is useless sickens me. Every place on earth has it's own problems. Why would Japan be totally rid of them? It makes no sense. So if you're still reading, why is Japan so immensely glorified to no end?
