  1. Tsubasa Chronicle. The next word should be "ru". If the word ends in "n" you're out.
  2. Yeah, at this point it would probably be pointless to change something like that...but that does make me curious as to which evolution they'll use for Tailmon...Holy Dramon or Ophanimon.
  3. @senshikoi, But Rosemon for Mimi's Palmon was confirmed, though, ages ago. At least 2000 or so, if I remember correctly and canonically (sorta), Mimi's Palmon has evolved to Rosemon before Tri. There's the Digimon Adventure RPG game and the CD drama that took place during summer break in Kyoto in either 2000 or 2001, I can't recall which right off. All I know is that Mimi was already living in the US and that for the drama she was visiting Kyoto.
  4. Why? Rosemon is Mimi's Palmon's official confirmed ultimate. This isn't the first time her Palmon's evolved to Rosemon.
  5. Too bright and light for me. It's hard for me to see. I've always preferred dark backgrounds.
  6. This song is okay to me, but I'm hearing other songs in it, including a Michael Jackson one and even a Digimon song (lol)...but I'm mostly hearing Queen works. I'd rank this a 6/10 since it's making me want to hear other songs by other artists/groups. Maybe it's just this song and maybe other works by them aren't like this, but this one is just so-so for me, unfortunately. I've heard of Muse, but as an introduction to this group...this song wouldn't work for me. :-( Okay, I will share this one. It is by the artist Ishtar (who performs in Russian, English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Arabic, and Bulgarian). Pretty sure she's fluent in all those languages. This is the first song I ever heard by her years ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG5YBK1aIug
  7. W - Weda from Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu.
  8. Surprisingly, I like this, although it's not fully my style personally. The music was enjoyable, and vocals and lyrics were fun. I would rank this 8/10. Sorry about the quality of this video. This is called Deception by the Cruxshadows. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGjK6hKahU8
  9. The song above was very nice. I would rank it 7.5/10. I'll stick with the mello feel I got from the previous song and choose one of my fav Red Hot Chili Peppers songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=066q9zn3Dmo
  10. Before moving to Tokyo from Yamagata, it was more convenient to drive. In Tokyo, I use public transit everyday. Back home, public transportation, like in Yamagata, isn't convenient. You drive or walk. I drive everywhere back home.

    Japan Q & A

I'm not too certain about that. I do know that since the Olympics are being held in Tokyo, that the government is more intent on getting people to learn English which is why they're starting the kids with it at a younger and younger age, like in Elementary Schools and even non-international preschools. They want them ready for the influx of foreigners that'll be coming in. They still don't teach English effectively as far as public schools go…but it's something. Like, imo, by the time you're in high school, you should be conducting the majority of the lesson in L2, not L1 still. That aside, it's mostly the Tokyo area that's trying to beat English into the kids. For the prefecture that I work in (the Taito ward of Tokyo) they're super intent on it. Hm, oh, now that I think about it, there may be some infrastructural projects going on. I remember about a year or so ago, some were complaining about rebuilding something. Can't recall what it was, though, but it would be cheaper to renovate the place than to just build a whole new…whatever. People were complaining about the taxes involved that even non-Japanese citizens would have to end up paying too in some way.
  12. I can only recall two dreams I had many years ago. One dealt with Sailor Moon. Don't remember much about it other than my interacting with the inners somehow and understanding them despite their speaking Japanese. The other was a dream about Digimon Adventure/Adventure 02. I dreamt up an alt ending to 02 before it actually aired in Japan. I wrote it all down and turned it into a fic.
  13. I like both. Back in 1998, I received two kittens. My mother got them for me after our dog had to be put down. We'd gotten her from the animal shelter. Unfortunately, she was sick and had distemper. So a few months later, my mother got the cats. One passed in 2006. The other passed in 2011. In 2009, I got a dog. It was ideal. I had a cat and a dog.
  14. How did I miss this thread! lol Pedro from one of the most random shows I've ever seen...Excel Saga. lol
  15. Since I believe in karma, I wouldn't use it. Let the powers at be deal with criminals and stuff.
  16. Well, like I mentioned before, if you go to a video store, and you go to the アニメ section you'll see non-Japanese series there. I guess Sausage Party would be there.
  17. The film itself since no one else has discussed it much, like likes, dislikes, etc. I know that @senshikoi hasn't yet.

    Japan Q & A

Can't answer the second, but yes there are all-you-can-eat places here, like a buffet. They're called バイキング restaurants. Why they are called Viking style is beyond me. I've never looked into it and hadn't thought about it until you asked. lol
  19. Japan has had Mario anime specials, like the one based on Momotaro, or the one from 1986 where Mario and Luigi have their first adventure and meet Peach. I doubt DiC was the reason for our not getting anymore series, as the Mario ones had to have been popular, or else they wouldn't have continued it. Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World's shows were direct continuations of the Mario cartoon from the Super Mario Bros Super Show, just like the games. I'm sure the live-action Mario Bros film was the cause of Nintendo's hesitance on live-action movies and that's generally hated, not the cartoons to my knowledge. Also, at the time of production of the other Mario shows, we still only had two mainstream Zelda games and a handheld. The show already covered aspects from the two NES titles (like how Link is a teen, much like his character in Zelda 2). While doing the Super Show Stuff, SMB3 was out in Japan and SMW was on the way too. They had more to work with. I guess they felt there wasn't enough material to work with. Legend of Zelda has a more realistic feel to it than Mario, which may also explain why they continued the Mario series but not Zelda back then. It is still surprising, though that there aren't more Mario shows, especially with the manga Super Mario-kun, which has been running since 1991. It's goofy, but still surprising there hasn't been an anime based on it at some point.
  20. Found what I was looking for.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_6gccuhhfY Link even had a fairy companion named "Sprite".
  21. You know, it is surprising that Japan has never adapted one of the games or the manga and comic series that have been put out over the years. I wouldn't mind one based on the Twilight Princess manga. It's really interesting. Right now, I'm reading Four Swords Adventure +. I've read others. I definitely prefer some of those to the actual games they're based on since in comic/manga form, you can have more detail, which is why I'm enjoying Twilight Princess so much so far. We have background on how Link came to Farron Woods and stuff and found the village. This detail was left vague in the game. The only animated Legend of Zelda program that I know of, is the one from 1989 that the US put out. It was part of the Super Mario Bros Super Show. Every Friday, the Mario cartoon would be replaced with a Legend of Zelda one. I used to really really like that show too (was shorter than I realized...only 12 eps), and would rush home from school to watch it. It was syndicated, so when it was shown varied from area to area. For my area, it aired in the afternoons. For others, mornings. Both cartoons were pretty much based on and around the first two games as those were the only ones out at the time. Ironically, I wasn't a fan of the Legend of Zelda games back then. I'd played the first Zelda game with my friend (her family had the NES and her older brother had the game) when it was still relatively new. Neither one of us could get into it because for us, it was difficult to play. So yeah, about the cartoon...it was definitely a product of its time, but Zelda was pretty cool and more proactive, like how she kind of is for later games. She isn't just the damsel and would try to help out in her own way in later games, I mean.
  22. Here in Japan, anything animated = anime since anime is the abbreviated word for animation.
  23. I forgot to mention something. Yamato mentioned to Villainessmon that he and the others were worried about Ken. Hikari also seemed to show concern when they couldn't get him when going to his place. THANK YOU!!! lol It's not much, but it's something. Okay, time to correct myself on some of the things I confused, starting with "memories"... Infection.... I kind of brushed over this when writing my original post. Anyway, when Meiko first met Meikomon, Oh something else I didn't go into more detail with that was kind of sad. As it said in the synopsis that I put up months ago, Koushirou kept the Digimon in the server in fear of them getting infected. Jou came in and saw how messy Koushirou's office was and started cleaning up...and noticed a zombie-like, dehydrated Koushirou at the computer. In a raspy voice....he said...."oolong...cha....oolong...cha...." lol! But seriously, Koushirou mentioned that he'd been trying to figure everything out since the school festival. Jou told him that he should rest and shower and all that stuff, and how he'd never get a girlfriend if he doesn't. Next scene, Koushirou is asleep. lol So anyway, Takeru came in and Patamon left the area to join him. The other Digimon were like, "Screw this, we want to come out too. It's safe. Koushirou is asleep...he can't yell at us." lol This part I didn't mention above, as I'd forgotten to. Takeru wanted to take Patamon with him. Jou was like, "No, you can't," but Patamon made a fuss about it and he let him go. Later on, you find out that Koushirou was furious (not shown, but relayed to us by Jou. The other Digimon wanted to hang with their partners too, so Koushirou had Jou go and talk to the others about what they should do. They then all agreed (Jou's idea) that their partners remain and Koushirou's during school, and that they can pick them up after and take them home. Yamato noticed how strange Takeru was acting during this meeting. He seemed distant. So anyway, the sad part. . Yamato came over to his place later with Gabumon. Takeru figured he'd had "another fight with Taichi". Yamato was like, "No!" "Oh, so you had a fight with Sora-san?" lol Then Takeru started listing off others, "Jou-san, Mimi-san?" lol Yamato was like, why would people think he'd gotten into an argument with someone. "It's your personality." Gabumon agreed with that! But anyway, Yamato was there because he figured something was up with Takeru based on how he was acting earlier. At first, it looked like Takeru was going to "confess". He was all serious...until he said, Yamato's reaction was priceless and even in the theater, I was laughing at that as were others. Patamon looked relieved. You know, I never did mention the big battle for this episode, but before that, I want to mention the time each Digimon was spending with their partners....Sora and Jou specifically. Oh and my favorite Chosen for this film, was definitely Jou. Anywho, Jou was going on about that "girlfriend" he supposedly has with Gomamon. He's really hung up over her. He mentioned that he should "introduce" his two partners to one another, since the other will maybe, hopefully someday become his "permanent partner". Jou's already thinking about marriage. Gomamon was like, "What should I wear?" It was too cute, until Gomamon said he had a question, and burst Jou's bubble, "Is she a real person?" Poor Jou. Why can't he have a girlfriend? lol With Sora, Piyomon was asking what Sora wanted to do in the future. She said she wasn't sure given how she's still young and have school left and stuff. The other time, Piyomon pointed out that Sora always puts others before herself. Sora jokingly declared that she's the mother of the Chosen Children. lol Too cute. I think this is going to play a role in the upcoming film. I can't figure out how...but that's just my assumption and gut feeling. It was pointed out by Meiko how motherly she is, Sora acted that way throughout the film, Sora mentioned (all huffy like) how Taichi always says that she's like that, Piyomon does, etc., so...yeah, I think that's going to come into play next movie. Okay, the battle...but before that and Hikari's message, When Meikomon came back and all the Digimon were righting her to try and get her back through the gate, Takeru didn't want to let Patamon fight. The others were, though and Koushirou and Tentmon weren't there yet. When Patamon did fight and evolve to Angemon, Tentomon went to help, evolved to AtlurKabuterimon.... and then he eventually went to his ultimate. This felt more like convenience again. I did like his speech and stuff, but it felt like Rosemon all over again for me. Still, so far to me, Jou and Gomamon's evo to Vikemon was best because of the emotional connection involved between them. I didn't feel that with Mimi and Palmon and I didn't get that with Koushirou and Tentomon, but I have a feeling that we will with Sora and Piyomon.
