I still feel that genre should be considered based on what one likes in general. I don't care for romance unless it's secondary. I doubt I'd enjoy a series loaded with romance anime or not. If a person likes action, I wouldn't recommend a drama.

Yoko Kanno is a very talented music composer. The Russian singer Origa did the opening for Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex. I really enjoyed Origa's music and collected it. Unfortunately, she passed away last January. She was still living in Japan and was young. Only in her 40s.

Imagine being in Japan as a female with this height. lol. I'm taller than probably 99% of the women here and I can't buy pants, unless they're men's. Skirts aren't a problem, though.

Depends I guess, but I've never had one get damaged or break on me...unless my 3DS counts. I just bought a new one since the screen couldn't be fixed from water damage.

I don't play many games, so yeah, I have. I usually preorder stuff if there's an incentive to, like the upcoming Twilight Princess HD rerelease for the Wii U. I don't own a Wii U, but I want the junk being released with the game. ^^

@Angeluk: I meant to ask this yesterday, but what types of genres do you like in general? For example, I like crime and mystery stuff in general (I watch Law & Order a lot, for example), so I got into the Detective Conan series.

I thought the Missingno glitch could mess up your game-cart or game. If that's the case, I doubt they'd keep that in.

I know they're going to leave the game the same, but I doubt they're going to leave in the glitches.

Manga is the Japanese word for comic. In Japan, the majority of its anime are adaptations of a manga/comic. They have so much story for that reason. Most US cartoons aren't adapted from anything. The cartoon itself is the source material. This is why I said that, in a way, the cartoons are a bit more original and creative. Sorry, I hope I was clear. ^^

I still say cartoon given how Japan itself does. *points to my earlier post here* That aside, what you said is true as far as story and stuff goes, but they have an advantage over US made shows...they usually start out as a comic. They pull stuff from that as the animated counterpart is just an adaptation of it with other stuff tossed in. I don't feel most cartoons do, making them, in a way more original and creative. Of course there are exceptions, but this is how I feel regarding what was mentioned in your post.

@Ryuji : I have a Japanese 3DS, so I can download from the Japanese shop, but I don't have OR/AS since I wasn't a fan of the original Ruby/Sapphire. Anyone here want the code for Mew?

Howdy all. I was just thinking about something I don't think I've ever come across in manga or anime. A series where a guy confesses to the girl or one where there's an on-screen break up with younger characters (teens). Can anyone here think of a series where either of the above things happened?

My recommendation is to go straight to N4. You can go to the site and determine which would be best for you.

I tried the test when there were only 4 levels. I tried N3, but was screwed with the listening. That was about 7 years ago. I'd like to try again, maybe N4. My roommate has N3, but keeps failing N2.
