Heya, and welcome - once again - to the forum! Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or need any help with anything. I think you'll find this a pleasant, if somewhat quiet at times, forum - I hope you decide to stick around, and that I'll see you around in the days to come.

I've had lengthy conversations in person with folks who have had extremely unusual / unfortunate names in the past, so I think I'd do just fine. Beyond that, I have a pretty decent poker face when I need to in social situations. Would you please tell us a story from your childhood?

It has been an unusually exceptional day for me, I must say - for little particular reason, really. I'm just horribly satisfied with existence in a way that is somewhat unusual.

First, I'd wonder just what sort of tournament I'd found myself in, and what the benefits of winning it vs not participating would be. I'd then wonder how much effort would be required in order to actually win said tournament. Depending on the costs, effort, overall impact of victory/defeat, I'd slowly work out whether or not it was worth my while. Not interested in anything that has a risk of death, at the end.

All is well in the world.

@Wedgy Odd! I wonder if this might be a matter of permissions. @Optic is this something that could be opened up to other users, assuming it isn't already intended to be? I'm actually growing very fond of the All Pages chat bar that follows me around now.

Actually - this is possible in the chat's current configuration. Under the settings pull-down, you have a surprising depth of configuration options for the chat, including the Display Mode option at the bottom, which has the following options: All pages (places the chat in an expandable bar at the bottom of all pages that can pulled up at any time) Above / Below content (places the chat app, as it exists on the front page, on the top or bottom of most pages. Above / Below Forums List (below being the current default) Sidebar Below Visitor Panel / Sidebar Bottom (places the chat in the forum index's side bar... tiny bit too scrunched up to be useful imo) Actually, I wonder if the All Pages mode might be a nice default for the chat.

Yeah, I apologize for keeping everyone else waiting, but --- well --- I don't want to leave them out of this without giving them a chance to join, given how the previous game ended up coming to an end. :'(

Hrm. Looks like Sekkarou and Scrooge haven't been on since Saturday. Given that they were in the last game, I'd like to leave this open a short bit longer to see if they pop back up and are interested in jumping in.

I'm going to try and grab one of these. I'll probably fail, like I did with the god damn NES Classic, but I'll try. It's definitely a bit overpriced for what it is, in my opinion, but as a collector's item I think it'd be a cute thing to have up on my shelf once I've played through Star Fox 2 and a couple of the other games. A stand-alone mini-console with preinstalled games.

I've attempted to speedrun some of the easier levels in this delightful game, but I'm honestly a bit terrible at it! Would you prefer to take a one in three chance to win five dollars, a one in ten chance to win ten dollars, a one in twenty chance to win one hundred dollars, a one in one hundred chance win three thousand dollars, or... a one in one chance to win a $5 McDonalds gift card.

@Kitty Welcome, again, to AF! It is a little on the smaller side of things, but we're all extremely welcoming to new faces, and are always more than happy to have them here - you'll have no trouble at all fitting in, I think.
