So what anime has made you freak out in a bad way and given you a bad creepy feeling?

I really need a new psychological anime to watch I have watched almost all and recommend some except for Tomodachi game, lie eater , 20th century boys , Monster , Danganronpa , classroom of the elite , when they cry , promise neverland , no game no life , code geass and pluto

Probably like 10 years ago I watched an anime that was about a guy and a girl that really disliked each other, and their parents ended up getting married and they had to live together. They also fell in love with each other, but then the guy moved to America for I think college, and the girl chased after him, I think they ended up together. One of the characters may have been named Yui.. or Yuri.. I honestly can't remember I know it was a romance anime and I've been trying to find the name of it so I can watch it again, does anyone happen to know what this anime is?

Hmm I havnt seen many older anime like that however my best guess would be: Wicked city Its not Gundam is it? The only anime that ive ever heard of where the goal was to declothe the enemy is AkibaStrip. Ikkitousen? Was the mc male? or female? is the 'Main girl' the mc? or side mc? What makes you say that the arena has any gravity affects? So this pink creature was it flying? How little of a kid are we talking like 4, 8, 12? I doubt there are any anime with that kind of premise, they dont want to glorify getting fat thats why there are dozens upon dozens about getting skinny or starting out fat and getting skinnier. Like a boxing ring? And can you explain what you mean by one is a mix of rook and knight? Is this show realistic or supernatural like is the not feeling pain a power?

I was actively watching the anime as it was on air and recently I started watching it again remembering it was quite fun but like damn,it has been almost 4 years since the last season,it's reviews was not bad,it was super popular then why no news for the new season guys? They are really sleeping on this anime.

The type I play is a lot of single player games on Playstation but on the computer I like to play MMORPG's that allow you to pick classes and level and train characters either as by yourself or with friends.

I abandoned all my old website forums accounts as soon as Discord became a thing around 2017. It was a big mistake. I never understood how much I missed the privacy and inclusion of old website forums, not to mentioned I realized late last year just how much of a government op Discord is with how it logs all messages and data you give it. Discord is basically a keylogger. I also got tired of hearing pings and getting involved in discord drama. I want to go old school again and return to forums. This is a recreation of an old account I deleted on this forum a long time ago back in 2019. Now I am returning to the anime forums because people depend too much on corporate social media to connect and not enough on independent works like this. I am happy to be here again. And if you ask me to join your Discord, I'm going to say no. LMAO

There is an idea to write a program that will help you connect the outer tracks (audio, subtitle) to a video file in various players, where this possibility is absent or inferior. In this regard, I want to ask how much such an assistant is in demand? What video player do you use and why it is? Do you often have to deal with a video where a set of voices/subtitles is represented by external files lying in folders (Sound, Subs, etc.)? How do you watch such material (the player picks up, or move the selected paths to the root of the folder, or maybe pre -glue them in MKV)? Do you use the playlist’s function or open each series separately? Watch video material from the local disks of a computer or from network folders (for example, NAS storages)?

I came across a romance anime of this type years ago (I forgot its name) where the MC is literally you, the girl is breaking the 4th wall. I hope someone know the name of this genre, I looked and looked and couldn't find the genre name or any rom anime of this kind. Genre name ? And some sauces ?

As a genuine question, I've noticed after being on the forums for a couple of months that, there isn't much activity when it comes to users interacting. I mean, we have activity spikes here and there, but I've noticed that the site has been more dead, and mostly the veteran users have been active. Newbies and just other users in general haven't been as active, and it leaves me to this question...what can WE do as a forum to get this site more out there to bring the family more together? And a question for the Veteran forum users, have you guys noticed the lack of activity on the forums? Or is it just me?

I have a MAL but forget to use it all of the time. A lot of the time I will browse Crunchyroll for new animes that I just have not seen or what looks interesting.

I like to watch anime and be a fan, I have been watching anime for a long time, my first anime I watched was Sailor Moon and boy I was hooked on it and then there was Pokemon that tied in with the video games by Nintendo (The very same company that resurrected the gaming industry in America since 1985 with the Nintendo Entetainment System.) I find anime to be an amazing form of entertainment to enjoy and take me out of the insanity of reality. My first real anime I watched in Japanese was Black Butler back when I went to my first anime club meeting back in high school and since then I created a list of animes. FLCL, Toradora, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sword art Online, Another, Future Diary, Jellyfish Princess, Fairy Tale, Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, The Girl who lept through time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children and Re:Zero, my list goes on. I also like to cosplay too, I cosplayed as Hilbert from Pokemon Black and White, Ame from Wolf Children, Kirito from Sword art Online, Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tale, An Inkling boy wearing a Squid Girl outfit from Splatoon, and I cosplayed as Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer, I am like 29 years old (an adult about to be 30 in 2024) and I am looking for people that are the same age as me that like to cosplay anime characters. I can relate to that. My mother was often complaining about how much I spent on buying anime DVDs, merch and going to anime conventions. I pointed out to her that as I didn't smoke or drink my total monthly anime spend was far less than I'd spend in a month on cigarettes and visits to the pub. This muted her protests a bit, but the real issue was that anime was Japanese and she didn't like the Japanese.
