I like doing that as well. When I'm on holiday and see an old church I look to see if there's somewhere I can park the car so I can go in and have a look round as many are open on weekdays. I started at my new job today and enjoyed myself. I met my team on Zoom as many are in the UK and places in Europe. I knew 2 members of my team already so this helped me feel less anxious about it. I also know the supervisor over my team since we have been friends for going on 8 years now. 

I got a small overview of most things my team is working on now project wise and it seems really interesting what we will be doing. I like working in creative development for any game but a game I have been playing since I was a kid and have a lot of experience in, to finally be a part of the team for it, is really exciting for me.

That's why I like going to countries in Europe so much or places in the UK. All the buildings are so old and there is always something cool inside them or pretty things or really nice architecture. While there are old buildings here, for instance the neighborhood behind us is full of Victorian era houses built in the 1800s and they are really lovely homes to look at, it just doesn't seem the same as going to like Egypt for example where things are REALLY old. Can't say I've ever seen a pulpit with an hour glass on it though, that sounds hilarious

It's the only one I've every seen. It's in the Parish Church of St.John the Baptist in Glastonbury Somerset.

Here's a photo of it, and it's a sad reflection on our society that they thought it necessary to put a padlock on it !

Still learning about my new job. I had mostly those very fun introduction trainings we all do when we start new jobs  Most of the day was spent clicking through these and then a team meeting towards the end of my day.

At lunch I had to run to the post office and I went to grab food at a juice bar, but the line was so long I would be waiting for far too long, so I went down the road to Taco Bell where the car lines were also too long and I just went home without having food. I still haven't ate so I am going to make a big dinner tonight.

oH WOWWWWW that area in front of the pulpit is so intricate I would have been examining that for hours lol That's really pretty, that's the type of architecture I love. That is so sad they have to lock the hourglass onto the stand though wow, who would steal something from a church o_o

I feel like I didn't really do much of anything today which is usually how I feel when I don't have a work study course, but I guess sometimes having days where we sleep in and do nothing but relax is good too. Definitely good for the mental health lol. 

I mostly watched Pessi play FFX this afternoon and then I worked on a new GFX project for myself. I searched all over the internet to find a poster of Sasori from Naruto that I actually liked, but no luck. So I decided I would just make my own. After all that way I know I would like it. I found a nice render from a free Naruto render pack, picked out some PNG'S took a few screengrabs of him and threw them all together and created this:

The top picture is the finished product and the 2nd picture is the render I used to build it all from. I already printed it out and had it mailed to myself in a 24 x 32 poster size. I think it'll look really good on my Sasori wall I'm putting together ^^ Going to do the same thing for a Mitsuki wall.

A testament to the skill of the craftsman who carved it, it must have taken many days to create such a masterpiece.

This morning I went out to get my supply of eatables for next week and did a load of washing. After lunch I did some more work on my model railway.

More work training videos for me  I was told I should finish them all by the end of this week and be able to jump into working on small projects next week about which I am the most excited to do. I don't care for all these boring training videos that are mandatory but I know why they are since people do dumb things often. 

I took a longer lunch today and played some games and went out for a walk this morning before work too. It was still cooler this morning so I was enjoying the weather.

I didn't have work study courses today so I slept in, sat with Pessi while he was doing some of his work videos which made even me want to fall asleep  and did shopping online. Really should hold off on the shopping for a couple of weeks.. I already have so many packages coming in. I shop when I get bored though x.x and today I was nothing but bored.

I want to get back into doing some GFX but I didn't have a lot of motivation to do it today after spending so much time doing it yesterday. I want to get a Mitsuki poster made like I did the Sasori one, but if I make it I will want to go ahead and make it into a poster and buy it and yeah I really need to wait until all these next orders come in and I get them put up where they need to go before I move on to the next project lol

That's one of the things I don't miss about work. Every year we had to do about half a dozen computer based training courses, they were the same courses each year and as contactors several of the courses didn't apply to us, but we had to do them anyway. If any of us failed to get them done by the deadline our employer would be asked to remove us from the contract. This led to some really silly situations when we wanted to hire temps for a few days during the holiday season.

Resumed my Digimon site The Digital Burst::. Saved hundreds of poems that was on my OneDrive app on my laptop. Went to an Irish bar, ate Korean cupbop, read my poetry from 00's-2020's, though my first poem dates back to 1998, on my computer. I'm going to bed!!

Many of these don't apply to us either. I had to watch an office violence video even though the majority of us work from home and I am not even in the same country as the main office of my company and will never be in their main offices likely. I am guessing they just require everyone to complete all training regardless of where you live or what your job title is in the company. I even had to watch a video about office cleanup and spills

Had work courses and I got to go out on the boat today which is always fun for me ~ It was a little too hot for me though but I guess the wind from being on the boat makes it seem at least a little cooler than it is. I got to hold and see some baby squirrels at one of the rescue places we went to! There were so small and cute  That was easily the highlight of my day. 

I played some games, re-organized some things in my closet. I realized I didn't like the way my shoe rack in my closet is as it seems like it's taking up too much space so I decided to order some that hang down which will give me more floor space in my closet to move some things around and move bins from the top part down to the bottom part so I can put more clothes in the top part. I always feel like I'm re-organizing everything all the time but I guess I just like to move stuff around lol 

Made some more GFX ~ I made Pessi @Zeref some new GFX to use on the forum here and some Discord icons. I was going to make my Mitsuki poster but I figured I need to wait a bit to make it since I can't order it yet, and if I make it I'm just going to want it right now @.@

I finished my first week of work at the new job but I am told I will still have several days of videos next week then be assigned with someone to start working on a small project which is most what I am looking forward too. Being in the creative development department I will be able to feel like I am adding something to the game and making things happen, I think it will be a fun and exciting new experience for me.

Work study course, it was raining most of the day so I was on a boat and wet and cold in a poncho that kept flying off my head to the point I just gave up and let it rain on my head  I got a nice longgggggggg shower when I got home though and watched/helped Pessi play FFX and we ordered pizza~! Which I ate too much of and now I regret a little bit lol 

Tonight there is some GFX'ing I want to do but other than that I will prolly just watch Pess play FFX and I need to call my sister tonight.

I played Town of Salem with Pessi this morning for a longggg time lol I forgot how fun the game was. Did some laundry, ordered food, went swimming. Some of my packages arrived in the mail today with my Boruto things so I'm going to put those up later  I also did some more GFX. Been a little bored lately and GFX'ing at least takes some of the boredom away.

It's a Sunday today and I like to have as my lazy day. I lay around and watch TV and play FFX today mostly. I did start dinner which I am cooking tonight that will be taco salad.

Pretty much same thing Pessi was doing, laying around playing games and making graphics. Pessi makes really awesome taco salad so I had that for dinner. I was watching the sunset a bit earlier and the colors on the buildings and in the sky/clouds were really bright and orange tonight and I thought it was really pretty so I took some pictures. There was also a hugeeeeee rainbow I took some pics of.

Today I had work and finally finished the last video I have had to do before starting into real work. I was assigned to work with someone who will mentor me for awhile. This person is a long time friend and I look forward to working with them and feel good about it. It is always good when you like the people you work with because then most any work is tolerable. 

I played more in my game of FFX today after finishing work several hours ago. This morning I even felt like getting up earlier and taking a walk before starting work, going to get a morning coffee, and for lunch I did some shopping to pick up a few items we needed.

I had to get up earlyyyy this morning at 6 AM and I'm just so not a morning person x.x I would really prefer to not get up before 10 AM, 10 AM is kind of my earliest. Butttt unfortunately work calls and you have to do it sometimes ~ I had a work study course today and had to meet at 7 AM and didn't get home until about 6ish. But on the bright side today I got to pet a beaver?  I love being around the animals and learning about them, interacting with them, seeing them get the help they need/learning what to do in situations to help them too. While my main focus is fish, I just love the fact we get to interact and learn about other animals you might encounter while working in fish & game. 

Aside from this I haven't really done much of anything. I am working on another GFX design so I will see how that goes, might finish it tonight. It's hard for me to start a project and come back to it, I don't think I'm capable of that because it would drive me crazy knowing it's not done lol ~
