I managed to get all my Christmas cards done and ready to post off

I built gingerbread houses today. I'm terrible at it and it looks like a hot mess but I don't care because it was fun y.y

Today I posted off all my Christmas cards, did some laundry and tidied up the living room.

Sailing some with @Sakura on RS earlier but she's a bad boat driver  

I'm going to put away some clothes and clean up a little before bed now.

Got off work early but I have to get up at 4am for work tomorrow for a test out at Goldstone that starts at 7:30am.  That means driving halfway to Las Vegas (from Los Angeles), then making a left at Barstow and driving for another 45 minutes straight out into the middle of nowhere.  If you still have cell service then you're not there yet.  Commute takes about 2-3 hours depending on traffic.  Probably won't finish until after 6pm either, which means a long day and driving tired in the desert at night.  Not looking forward to any of it, especially the burros.

Uhmmm I had a final exam today, which I do all week, every.. single..day.. anddd then I played RS with friends,  now I'm studying/watching a show with @Zariel before sleepy sleeps ~

Yeah scariest experience of my rs life :v she starts blasting Dragula over her speaker on our vc, goes full speed towards another boat, screams a particular phrase that let's me know I'm about to die, then she just jumps ship leaving Zari and I on a boat plowing towards another one at full speed never again

I came back. I had a bad anxiety attack, which made me leave. I didn't realize that made so many people worry about me. I'm deeply sorry for that.

Spent today far from civilization.  At work by 5am so we could get on the road before sunrise and avoid most of the L.A. freeway rush-hour traffic.  Didn't get home until well after dark.  In between stuff happened.  It was a loooong day.  No burros were harmed.

Goldstone is actually on land that is part of an Army base, though it is many, many miles from the part where people are.

 

 

 

One of the smaller antennas next to the tiny cinderblock building that was my workplace for the day.

 

Antennas appear like mushrooms in the desert hills.

 

This time here was actually water in usually bone-dry lakebed nearby.

 

Unfortunately the big 70-meter antenna was offline for maintenance/repairs on this trip.

 

Desert hills in the sunset on the way back.

 

Traffic density increased as we left the desert and got closer to civilization.  By the time we got over the mountains and back into the L.A. basin it was the usual bumper-to-bumper and had slowed to a crawl.

An exciting day then. I liked the photos of the antennas and the "gate guards". I know the helicopter is a Cobra I think the tank is an early model Abrams, but I'm not so familiar with military modern vehicles so I might be wrong on that.

today i chilled watching youtube videos and played finalfantasy 7 rebirth

Played minecraft with my brother in Wisconsin.  We found out that if you put knockback on the new spear you can knock a rider off his horse.  So we built a jousting arena.

im currently on winter break (sadly its about to end on tuesday) so my days have been very boring, as i stay in the house all day with my unofficial step mother and eat her offensively average cooking. i spend the day watching youtube all day. today i searched for some forums, in my search i found this place and a few others, forums are cool!
