I usually create PNGs, Renders and texture packs for use in GFX but it's been awhile since I sat down and actually created a sig or banner. Sakura has also shown me how to do several things on PS since I've been visiting and it has me interested to try them out too.

I have PS that I make resource packs for artists on, however I haven't created anything for myself in several years. Part of the reason is simply not having time with my medical training.

I see that's rather interesting I make some myself with my own photography, or a PNG / Render.

Some days ago I watched SAO, it's not really the sort of series I normally watch but it has an interesting storyline and great characters so I quite enjoyed watching it. Although I didn't think much of the second half.

Anyway I decided to create some GFX based on it, so here's the first one:

 I like the orange corners it makes it pop. I love SAO: Gun Gale Online.

I really liked the circles you use in this one and the borders around this.

So, last night I decided I'd like a new sig more based on my name, so I spent an hour or so trying out ideas and finally came up with a design I liked.

This morning I looked at it again and decided it wasn't quite what I had in mind... so I did some more work on it and changed a few things, and this is the new version.

Although I'm still not sure if I really like the folded lines on the right hand edge.

I love it ~ specifically the border around it looks sooo good! I like the dragon used in it as well.

I agree with Pessi I loveeeee this BG you used  It just goes together really well with Kirito for sure ~ That was a very creative idea I haven't seen one like this before.

@Zeref and @Sakura thank you for your kind comments. When I made that GFX I wanted some kind of background to fit in with the computer game theme and after a bit of thought I came up with the circuit board idea.

Another SAO themed GFX. As you can't really have Kirito without Asuna this one is for her and uses the same background as the Kirito one so they are a matching set.

Thank you. Yes they do make a nice set don't they.  I liked that Asuna render as well I thought it was a good strong pose.

I really like the art you've posted here. How long have you been creating graphics? What inspires you to do an art piece? Do you plan them our prior to creation or are you the type that opens up your program and just sees how every thing falls into place?

Thank you, I'm pleased that you like my art. I've only been doing the sort of graphics I post on here since September, and it was Sakura who encouraged me to start up this gallery. I've been doing various sorts of graphics for the last 25 or so years mostly posters, wallpapers, invites, motto cards etc.  As for what inspires me, I do a bit of everything, if I'm doing something like a poster that has to have a certain message then I usually give it a lot of thought and planning before I start work on it. When I'm doing stuff for myself what usually happens is that I get an idea to do something based on a series I've watched or a render that I really like. Sometimes I have an idea how I want it to look and other times I open up the program and start dropping things on it and see how it turns out- sometimes what I end up with is nothing like what I started with

These SAO ones you recently made are really well done. The idea of putting them on that type of BG works great with the characters as do the other effects. So around nice designs
