Tell Us About New/Upcoming Anime

Okay so they come out with new anime, but each series hardly needs it's own thread. Do what new series, movies, manga, and such are coming out in America that may not be known yet that you are looking forward to? Tell us the details and why you think it will be good.

For example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_in_anime

The complete SHWD looks interesting. It's a horror story of a future where they fight mutants

SHWD: The Complete Yuri Collection: sono.N: 9798893733969: Amazon.com: Books

I'm still waiting for Harley Quinn Season 4 on DVD and the Season 5, though I understand Kiteman got a series.

For the record the upcoming season is Winter 2025

This is the site I use to know what’s upcoming https://www.livechart.me/winter-2025/tv

Crunchyroll’s licenses https://www.crunchyroll.com/news/seasonal-lineup/2024/12/13/winter-2025-anime-crunchyroll

Definitely going to watch Fate Strange Fake & final season of Dr. Stone. Also continue Shangri La Frontier & Re:Zero. Probably also watch the new seasons of Solo Leveling & Apothecary Diaries.

Only new series currently on my radar is Sakamoto Days on Netflix since I read part of the manga. Action comedy series about a mob hitman who retires to be a family man & run a convenience store.

No, what? Please no. Stop with these parts.

Sadly the current info is still that part 2 will be in  January 2026. Perhaps should be grateful they’re going the Attack on Titan route instead of the Demon Slayer route (the final arc being a trio of theatrical movies). Or Fate Strange/Fake (a double length special in 2023, a single regular length episode so far in 2025, the rest only god knows when)

You're not wrong, but, back in my day we would have just produced a 24-episode season.

2nd season of Kaiju No. 8 is scheduled to debut in July.

A new season of the Rascal Does Not Dream (of Bunnygirl Senpai) series is also supposed to start in July. Whoever gets the streaming rights really needs to make the 3 movies that followed the first season more available, or else people may have trouble following the story.

I'd agree with that I'd really like to watch those 3 movies but they're unavailable in the UK.

July’s looking stacked! Kaiju No. 8 and Rascal Does Not Dream? That’s a win for anime fans. And yeah, seriously, those movies need to be easier to find, streaming services, take notes! Can’t wait to dive back into these worlds.

Dandadan season 2 as well, so lots to look forward to in the summer roster.

edit: and they just added My Dress-up Darling season 2  to the planned July releases.

I really like the Rascal Does Not Dream of series, the 3 movies aren't hard to find.

The movies seem hard to find here in the UK. They're not available on CR and the only DVD/Blu-ray releases Amazon has are German.

Might be hard to find there but not too hard in the US.

About 20 years ago is was easy to get US DVDs in the UK as there were a couple of UK based mail order companies that sold just about every anime DVD that was released, but they've both stopped selling US DVDs, and I can think of a few reasons for that! There were also some shops in the US that would accept orders from the UK but after a while they'd still accept UK overseas orders they loaded the price with very high shipping costs which made it just too expensive to buy from them.
