I've a nasty feeling that that's what's going to happen to me. I've raised the matter with the printers and complained to the courier company, so I'll wait to see what the responses are.

The company told me to check with the courier and the courier told me to get a refund issues by the company if I didn't get it. It was a lot of circling around and I didn't feel like dealing with it anymore I decided to just count it as a loss.

I hate it when that happens. I usually get the run around too like @Zeref mentioned with his. The postage place says to tell the company you bought it from, and the company you bought it from says to check with the post office, neighbors, etc. In the end it just gives you a headache and you give up x.x 

~ For how I'm feeling today, I feel great! Mostly because it's been snowing and I've been super happy.

I have an update on this. It was delivered to my neighbour, I'm not sure why they did that because I was in all day and listening for the doorbell, I suspect that they just tapped on the glass door instead of ringing the bell, couriers seem to suffer from a doorbell phobia. So now have my cards and I'm happy again .

I don't know about there but here the UPS man won't even knock on the door. I'll be home listening for a package from them and waiting for the knock, instead later I'll find a sticker on my door taped there saying "sorry we missed you"!! Then having to reschedule a time for them to go back or pick it up myself.. they don't even knock

Amazon delivery drivers are like that, they don't knock and they don't leave a sticker, they just throw the package at the doorstep and drive away.

If you live on a road with a lot of passing pedestrians the packages often get stolen

I don't care if they leave it at my door personally. I live in an apartment building and none of my neighbors would steal it, or at least I've never had any troubles with that kind of thing yet... I get mad that I have to make a phone call and reschedule a delivery or go and pick it up myself : <

I've been hearing whispering all day, like always, but I also could've sworn up and down that I heard mom arguing with my step-father when he wasn't even in the house. So, I'm kind of learning to take it in stride. So far anyway. It seems to be only a matter of time before I think I hear something derogatory being said when no one even said anything that riles me up and I lash out. Fortunately I've got mom around to calm me down if I get like that, but I'm starting to wonder what or who will calm me down after she passes away... Despite what I think I'm hearing though, I'm in a pretty good mood. Surprisingly. lol Trials and tribulations, eh?

I don't get that anymore, i used to love climbing into bed tired, now i'm disabled and cannot work, it plays hell with sleeping patterns, i try to be as busy as one can

Also living in the UK means ridiculous fuel bills at this time of year, i don't get that Christmas vibe anymore either, that's probably to appease the muli faith country we've had forced on us by our government

Feeling your age at 56? You're still young   (but then almost everyone on here is young from my point of view )

Anyway I think you can "feel your age" at any age.

Don't remind me about ridiculous fuel bills, fortunately they're not as high as they were a year or so back, but they're still quite high, and like so many other people I didn't get my winter fuel payment this year .

I totally agree about the Christmas vibe being a bit lacking these days.  I've no objection to the UK being a multi faith country and believe people should be free to follow whatever faith they like, or none at all.  But sometimes it seems that you can celebrate any religious festival you like as long as it's not a Christian one.

(rant over, I don't want to start on about religion or politics here)
