Korok
Played Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life with Shiite's retexturing (Steam) to make look more like original. I ended up proposing to Gustafa too early. :') I found out I missed two of his heat events that are only viewable in Autumn. So, I'm going back to an old save before I proposed. TvT The proposal was so cute, though, and the event that came after.
Unbroken Experiment
Tales of Berseria: I just got done with the caves in Northgand. Now I think all that's left is returning to the ship and seeing where the story takes off from there.
Unbroken Experiment
Tales of Berseria: I've met up with the Malak who refers to himself as the Reaper and I've been blowing up vines that got in my way. I kept thinking I forgot the kindling somewhere, but it's a story item, so I picked it up of course. I think I'm near the end of the map because I encountered the 2nd Save point. efaardvark
Been playing Hytale this evening. As expected it's a lot like Minecraft. The blocky looks and a lot of the building and crafting mechanics will make any Minecraft player feel right at home. It's still a sandbox that gives the player a lot of freedom and at this point in the early-access cycle there's not a lot of plot that's been implemented. There's mining and smelting for metals and punching trees for wood. But it's also a lot more structured than Minecraft. Or at least it looks like it will be at some point. (There are areas literally labeled in game with "WIP" signs.) There's also game elements that are definitely not pulled from minecraft. One is "memories" that you collect as you encounter different animals as you wander around the world and then take back to a "forgotten temple". Once registered there they unlock or enhance game elements such as crafting recipes. I've only got a few hours of gameplay to go by but so far I'm liking it. For an early-access game it's surprisingly glitch-free as well, at least here on my linux system. Definitely interested in seeing how it develops going forward. Unbroken Experiment
Tales of Berseria: I'm at the fortress that the exorcists boast. Daemonblight has taken it over, but all that means is more fodder for Velvet. And more smackin' daemons around. lol I've found the key, now it's time to destroy the battleship that we saw earlier to make sure it can't be used against the Van Eltia. Uncrowned Guard
Not a whole lot for me lately. I actually re‑downloaded Forza Motorsport because I’ve been in the mood for a racing game, but I still haven’t gotten around to actually playing it yet. One of those “I want to play something… but not right now” situations. Hopefully, I’ll finally fire it up soon.
Unbroken Experiment
Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution Black Luster Soldier cards can even be more powerful than the Egyptian God Cards if played right. I've finally wrapped my head around how to effectively use them. Effectively utilizing the new archetypes you unlock is interesting to do, but not always successful. efaardvark
Played a little bit more early-access Hytale. I've spend most of my time in the game so far just working on farming and getting familiar with building mechanics. I've done a tiny bit of caving to mine copper and iron, but really just enough of both to make tools like a hoe and watering can for the farming. I went deep enough to know that at some point the environment underground turns into lava and scary monsters but given my lack of proper armor and weaponry I avoided interaction and exploration at/beyond that level. Crop farming works pretty much like in the other block game. Use a hoe to till dirt into farmland. Plant seeds in the tilled soil. Wait. Plants require light to grow so adding a light source to your fields will let them grow at night and adding water from a watering can a-la Stardew Valley will shorten the growing time even more. Unfortunately animals can't be bred. (Yet?) Babies can be found in the wild and can be tamed but they don't seem to grow into adults or produce anything. Adults can also be tamed but can't produce babies You can get milk from (adult) cows, wool from sheep, and eggs from chickens. Milk can be turned into food so there's a use for cows. Chickens can produce eggs, which can be eaten directly as food. Sheep/wool I haven't found a use for yet but there's rumors of future loom and weaving mechanics. Most food restores health when eaten. You can eat wild/raw food but generally it doesn't restore much health. Crops, milk, and eggs can be used as ingredients in recipes to make cooked food however, which is typically much better at restoring health and can even provide short-term stamina or healing buffs, making farming and cooking valuable skills for adventuring. Unbroken Experiment
Xenoverse 2: I made a character in the spirit of my big sister and myself. Like what if we got sucked into the game or something like that. I'm using Ultra Instinct as the transformation.
efaardvark
More early-access Hytale. Managed to get some decent armor and weapons so I did a little more exploration of the caverns. Found a lot of lava, a bunch more iron, and some silver. Managed to not fall in the lava. The iron I can definitely use. Not sure what the silver can be used for yet. Unbroken Experiment
Currently I'm playing Xenoverse 2 on Switch, I've got the awoken skills Kaioken, Super Saiyan, Super Vegeta, Potential Unleashed, and Ultra Instinct. UI is useful when combined with the Super Soul "I'm thinking about becoming a GodTuber." which is what Zamasu gives you after surviving his first training/spar. Unbroken Experiment
I'm still trying to level up the Saiyan I've made in my own image who's equipped with Strike Skills and Ultra Instinct. He's currently at level 47.
Unbroken Experiment
For my male Saiyan I've named after myself I've switched back to Super Saiyan as his Awoken Skill since he's a Strike specialist. I'm using Eis Shenron's Z-Soul "Just win, okay?" to try to combat the effects of the reduced ki gain and I've set Maximum Charge as one of his skills. The Saiyan I've named Jax (my big sister's nickname) has Super Vegeta since she's a Blast specialist and gave her another Z-Soul of the same name for the same reason. I didn't really like that Ultra Instinct reduces Stamina so fast.
Unbroken Experiment
I can't have a balanced build using Super Saiyan or Super Vegeta, so I've equipped my male Saiyan I've made in my own image with Ultra Instinct as his Awoken Skill and the Super Soul "I'm thinking of becoming a GodTuber." that you get from the first spar with Zamasu, I like that you have to take on Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black and Zamasu as an immortal together at once. I still need to try to get the timing right on the combos after surviving the introductory spar, but at least I got this nifty Super Soul from him. Oh, I started over with my male Saiyan though and the female Saiyan I'd made in big sis's image. Now they're both balanced body types, so, since Ultra Instinct doesn't specialize in either one and seems to be a decent Awoken Skill to use for balanced builds. Now to max out everyone's Stamina and Ki for starters. Or at least get them to 100 anyway.
Unbroken Experiment
I've restarted on Front Mission 1st Remake from the beginning. There's no way that Xenoverse 3 will be on Switch OLED, so I'll never get to play it, so I won't know how many of it ends. So, why play XV2? At least the Front Mission Remakes don't have cliff hanger endings and you don't actually need to play one of them to know the situation of the next one. I still bought all 3 though for Switch. lol I love those games!!!! So, I'm trying to battle with Sutherland in the Arena who's got one heck of a haymaker melee attack. It's a chance to get prepped for the battle ahead. I just save after every win just in case so I don't end up broke and can just load the game before I lost if I do lose to him. lmao I've bought Zenith arms for Royd Clive, who I've named after myself as the first name. Along with a Zenith body, but I didn't have enough for legs. So, in addition to getting some experience for the different weapons, I'll be raking in the money for more Wanzer upgrades. ^^ ^^ ^^ Edited May 27 by Unbroken Experiment
Unbroken Experiment
Front Mission 1st Remake (Switch): Ok, so, after rescuing Keith and J.J. from their little predicament they'd gotten themselves into in search for "easy kills for extra money" (which clearly went awry as they got surrounded by enemy forces), I headed to New Milgan (after talking to everyone at the Barinden bar) and right now am in the process of accruing moneys for wanzer upgrades battling against Werewolf with a Zora right arm + Zenith Body + Zenith left arm + + Zora leg wanzer setup for the main protagonist to pick on Werewolf for a return of 1.76 betting odds at a 500 Huffman dollars bet each arena fight. I suck at math, so I can only say that the less hardy your wanzer is in the Arena, the more money you're able to get from betting on Arena battles. ^^ ^^ ^^ (I hope this isn't spam. I'm just waiting for someone else to post, which hopefully will happen soon.)
graceallen
Been spending most of my time in Cyberpunk 2077 today, just doing side quests and exploring Night City. I keep getting distracted from the main story because there is always something interesting around every corner. Also finally started Hollow Knight which has been sitting in my backlog forever. So far so good!
ScarlettMoore
Nice gaming day overall. Cyberpunk 2077 keeps distracting you with side quests, and Hollow Knight is a strong pick to start when you feel like something different.
EnviousEnvy
Donkey Kong Bananza Started playing Donkey Kong Bananaza for the first time. Couch co-op with my husband. Figured this would be enjoyable since I really liked Mario Odyssey. Fields of Mistria Currently on summer of year 2 and still no pink cows, lol. I really want one. Also working on wooing Juniper. EnviousEnvy
Windrose Been playing this for a few days with my husband. Built a stronger boat and finally made it to level 2 faction (I forgot which one, haha). Now I can take the on ships without dying 100’s of times, lol. Moxie
Took a bit of a break from some of my usual games and instead played a sketch and guess type game with friends. Absolutely hilarious seeing them try to draw something under time pressure lol
EnviousEnvy
Dave The Diver Upgraded my water tank and suit so I could explore longer and go deeper. Hunted down the shark to impress the recruiter and helped the gray dolphin save their mate twice. I also completed two other quests (one for the guy studying merfolk & the other for helping to save the earth). Two Point Museum I don’t remember if I posted that I restarted the game because if I stop for any long period of time on games like this, I forget what I’m doing completely. Kind of glad I restarted though because I did not like my last layout in my first save file.
Albireo
I got the plat for Persona 3 Reload today - which happens to be my first plat, after eighteen years of having a PSN account, hah. I don't usually care about them, but P3 is one of my all-time favorite games, so I wanted to try for it. It wasn't particularly difficult, just time consuming. I'll either continue my file for the FFX-2 remaster next, or play something I haven't actually played before.
efaardvark
Today I threw a splash potion of oozing into a pen full of chickens. Easy way to get half a stack of slime blocks. It could have been more but the phantoms kept getting in the way. The thunderstorm didn't help. Some sheep were involved as well when I accidentally hit the fence of their pen with my axe while trying to get some slime that had overflowed from the chicken pen. Lessons learned. I'll do it differently next time.
