What's your favorite video game character and why?

YO!  I wonder if I'm doing this right.

Hi everyone.  Like the title says.  What Is your favorite video game character?  Or Characters?  Honestly I have my reason for doing this.  I'd like to start cranking out lots of fan art in hopes to improve my skills.  So If you're willing.  It's much appreciated.  Yes I'm an artist.  If I can figure out how to post the art here as long it's not against the rules I will.  If you want to check it out when I'm done just let me know.   

As for my favorite game character.....I guess my favorite game growing up was poke'mon.  So I guess Garchomp is my favorite game character.  I'll be working on some art for that It a bit.  (As soon as I'm done with what I'm currently working on.)

but yea, excluding my own character's, in anime-ish, shana from shakugan no shana, she was initially the reason i got into anime, and also my first anime to have watched so i choose you, shana !

 

in terms of video game's/browser game-ish, haruna from kantai collection!, i just really really love her so much that i will put a ring on that finger, i also like akatsuki (and her class) too ohshi- the cops, to the point im thinking of using my cash to buy more wedding ring's just to, increase their level's above cap, not to wed them, ofcourse not, mhm wedding more than one girls is bad, i just want to increase their max level !

 

in terms of visual novel-ish,

like if you read through her story you might cry a tear of joy from her innocence, she's almost in par with kudryavka from visual novel's, maybe even more innocent as she does not put much words on her mouth.

also one of my very first visual novel's, i instantly fell inlove with kud and could not lewd her, nor will i ever lewd her, for it is a sin, and she is pure to the pure, incidentally

please dont make me pick either kud or misaki, that is but of the most impossible task you may put into man >.>... id rather die than pick one of them, i cannot even think of failing to protect their smiles !

Those are some pretty cute characters.  I'll see what I can do.    I'll probably end up drawing a lot of those girls.  Hope I do them justice.

Garrus Vakarian from the first three original Mass Effect games is probably my all time favorite video game character. The game series itself is probably still my all time favorite series (yes including Andromeda).

However another character I really like is Ciri (Cirilla) from Witcher 3.

I've never had the chance to play either of those but they have always seemed like a really good games.  Hopefully some day I can dig my way out of the dark ages lol.

@Wedgy I would honestly say I am a bit crazy lol.  Sorry for asking you to pick just one.  And thank you for sharing so many great characters.  They all do seem quite interesting very story driven characters.  I hope someday I can have to opportunity to play these games and see what they're about myself.   Good luck with your busy day and take care.

lol, that's the meme they use with Fry from futurama all the time right?  Yeah those legs, Idk what my problem is but I just can't not make them a bit meaty.  It's a curse.  I do it all the time.  Thanks for the points and stuff, by the way, what is that point system all about?  what's it for?

yea its a meme from futurama !

those legs are pretty fine though, like "damnnnn those legs" type, atleast i cant draw legs as fine as those !

points can be used on shop

check that place on spending them ! (or hoarding them ?!), its pretty much perks or something or changing the "New AF Member" title you have into anything you want it to be or name change ?

naw, i mean the site can get confusing at time's so its normal-ish! (also the sister site is really somewhat harder to navigate compared to this AF, talking of sugoi~ one ;o)

yea, i practiced drawing, and somewhat got a bit good in it (not as good as you or alupacard-chan tho'), i draw when time allows me, and i have inspiration !,but currently i cant, atleast till wednesday, couse i have to study and my only free day would be wednesday-thursday, after which ill have to study again x.x

Oh wow!  Medical school.  I can only imagine how hard that must be.  Best of luck studying.  I myself have just always been more into art than anything else.  I just couldn't bring myself to find an interest in anything enough to actually get good at anything.  Are you going for anything specific in the medical field?

@XII360 I've never actually played Mass Effect so this was my first experience with Garrus all the references I seen of him had him in a space suit.  but he seemed to have elbows knees and similar bendy parts.  So that's how I made him.  Although I went a little weird on his hops.  mainly because of some information I read about him looking different.  Thus ta-dah!  That's why he looks how he does.

tbh, im not even that good at medical-field >.>, im best at techy-related subject's, and average at everything!, 

i say "studying" but im just gonna read through my notes in hopes they get stuck in my brain, lucky part for me is its all multiple choice's, and my recall game is good

...assuming i see the choice's, if theres no choices i tend to forget even the most basic of the basic's x.x

i guess if im going on a specific field...blood bank (blood transfusion specialist i guess is the right term?) seems fun ?, but hardish, havent really decided (even though im already on my last year <.>), ill be average on any specific field i undergo anyway's knowing me!

Very true, very true.  I guess I'm just use to hearing about people only going into the medical field for money reasons.  That's just how most of the people I've met are.  I can't imagine that'll provide very good results of the tlc of the patients.  I like your attitude about the whole thing.

Well, I have no clue where you live but if you are in the USA, job prospects aren't looking good for doctors anymore.  If you aren't in it to help people, you will not be happy at all.  Doctors are going the way of the pharmacists, as in, they allowed big corporations to take over and wreck their reimbursement so that the insurance companies and corporations they work for get rich, and they get paid less and less, are expected to see more and more patients with less time for each one, and are judged off of satisfaction scores (basically, did you give the person a zpak on their way out so they feel they didn't waste their money on a trip to the doctor that really wasn't needed for a runny nose?).  Pharmacists are hurting terribly right now and most of us can't even find a job (the field is narrow...there is nothing else you can really do with the degree.).  Doctors are getting the same with the family medicine docs getting pushed out by cheaper NPs and PAs and big health systems dictating how they should practice medicine. 

 

Then add on top of that that malpractice insurance is at an alltime high from the frivolous lawsuits (which you can be named in even if you only saw the patient once and had no part in what the lawsuit is about.  They name more people so they can raise the amount they are demanding in the suit for payment.).  You should definitely do some forum digging into it all before you decide on any career in the medical field.  Dig deep into the prospects, especially if your heart is not into it.

 

As much as I love pharmacy, if I could do it all again I would have opened up that genomics company I had planned on and I'd be filthy rich now.  I knew the advances were coming to the field.  I had it all planned out.  But when given the opportunity to study for pharmacy, I wanted to have an impact on people today...not years down the road.  Well, hard to have an impact when you can't land a job LOL.  Sad but true.  Got to get my inner robot on.  It isn't about taking good care of patients or patient safety.  It's just about how fast you can work, how robotic you can be, and how much of your soul you are willing to throw in the trash every day.  Goes against everything in my soul.  Really does.

nope not from US, and probably wont be working there when im done, as that place's medical-field is a bit way to overpriced for my caring's, 

"us" ?, i see you studied pharmacy then, and most likely based on your comment, somewhat regretted it ;o, incidentally my current status would a "medical technologist student" or a "scientist student" ? think of MT/MLT (medtech lab technician, as they may call in the US?) but lower rank of those couse im just a "student"

incidentally, it is kind of true that, working fast is important,(as how fast you go can save the Px's life, and or kill Px if you make certain mistakes on your results, after all doctor bases the medication based on results we find), but you dont have to throw away your soul, maybe, aslong as you can do it with a broad mind i think itll be fine

im not sure if its fine in the US though, since i heard USA tends to overprice the medical bills, and with overpriced medical bills, doesnt mean proper health care

also one rule ill follow that was thought to us is: treat everyone equally, you cant treat another patient with more care just couse his part of your family, and treat the other with no care just couse his a stranger to you, think of them as human being's too, and if mistakes are made, well they wont like it and ill probably be in jail and loose my license ^_^, but thats why we gotta be careful on what results we release and or samples we accept into the laboratory

 

incidentally, studying these doesn't really hurt me, it makes me lose some years true, but i somewhat gained alot of knowledge in things i didnt know in science/medicine which is kind of neat ?

Yeah healthcare here in the US will put you in dept quick, and you'll be working your butt off trying to pay your dept for a long time.  It's normally like, you break a bone.  and have to pay 5000 USD for it's fix.
