I just checked and it doesn't say any information from it is released yet. Just when I was starting to think airplanes were safe again too ಥ_ಥ Guess I'll stick to boats if I go overseas ◄.►

The black box (usually actually orange or yellow so they can find it after a crash) records all the flight data and conversations in the cockpit, which will give them an idea of what happened and how the pilots responded to it. I imagine it’s a fair bit of data to go through and they would also need to go through it all multiple times for an investigation. 
For some reason they haven’t opened the black boxes yet (one is to record the flight data and the other is the one that records the cockpit sound) from the Air India crash and it’s not totally clear as to why it’s being delayed.

Air India’s been slapped in the past for not following safety regulations properly, so they probably just don’t want anyone looking at them too closely, but they’ll have to open it eventually.

I've seen the video from the crash and they are saying it was exhibiting strange signs such as the landing gear was still out when it started to go down. Also says they had to send off the black boxes to the US to be analyzed because they couldn't do it in India due to extensive fire damage.

Apparently they also sent out a mayday and no one responded, but I have no idea how true that is, honestly just heard it through rumours. Considering how early the crash happened, there probably wasn’t even time for someone to respond to the mayday signal before it crashed.

Isn't it odd they need to ship it to the US for that? They aren't exactly a third world country.

Perhaps they've done it to avoid claims of a government cover up if the data doesn't match what some people think it should show.

Maybe, could even just be something as simple as different manpower and expertise available, but definitely does help debunk any claims of government cover up if anything doesn’t turn out the way people think it should

I heard some of that. She reversed her statement and explained that she was arguing with a man beside her on the plane, which is why she said he wasn't real. That doesn't really add up for me. When I first watched the video, I thought she was just tripping out on something. I can't say I'm shocked that she's selling merch now. That seems to be common these days. People do something stupid in public hoping it'll go viral and they can make a few million off of it. Society is depressing these last few years lol.
