I took off work today so I could be at the hospital with @Sakura. Hospitals are the most boring place to be During she was awake we did play some games, Uno and Candy Land I found in the waiting room and brought them in her room so we had something to do.

I wish there was a way I could come but given the distance it's impossible to arrange right now. I'm glad you and Cam are there. I'm looking forward to my weekend. I've bought myself some snacks for a lot of gaming and binge watching shows.

I think it will as well. I just hope she doesn't get too angry at being in a hospital after she realizes how long she's been in one. I wish I could go to the hospital, but I'm fairly certain that you know why I can't be. This is when I wish I could teleport anywhere in the world like in the movie Jumper. I'm relieved that you'll be able to see your sister, Lillie. I think it's going to help substantially to have you there, too. I can't sleep either, but I slept a lot lately. That and the B12 gummies I had around 7pm will most likely keep me up all night. It's ok though, there's plenty of games to keep me distracted from what time it is. ^^

I'm glad they are keeping sis in the hospital another night I think it'll help. Bwahaha no way I can sleep tonight knowing he's there :V I'll be there around 1PM tomorrow yippiee. Welp not yippie because this situation and circumstances suck bad but I get to see you guys a few days.

He arrived about 3 hours ago the drive did take him almost 12 hours. I like him somewhat now for taking that time to drive here just to be here She is staying in the hospital overnight tonight. I packed my suitcase today successfully instead of waiting to throw it all around in the morning likely moments before I go to the airport. I'm not looking forward to O'Hare airport in the morning but I get to see my sis for the weekend which is the important right now given everything. I'll also get to meet one of my Runescape clan leaders and long-time friend tomorrow when I get there :V

I didn't do a lot today. I dealt with a load of emails and watered my sunflower seeds some of which seem to be doing well so far.

I am a high school student just trying to make it throught boring classes

I traveled to Kentucky today so that I could visit my sister. The circumstances for this visit aren't good but it still feels good to see her, Pessi, and to meet one of our friends who drove here too. I hated the airport and the plane trip it took me forever to find my bags on the luggage thing. She was able to leave about an hour ago and we're at her house. Physically she's a little better.

I hope she's doing well and getting better. She's in my thoughts and prayers and I hope she'll soon be fit enough to go home because I know how much she dislikes being in hospital.

How are things?

I've taken some time this week to mentally reset. I didn't go to lecture this week as I felt like I needed to study the material on my own. There's a whole can of worms regarding school right now, and it's actually gotten pretty toxic for me. So much drama between classmates, a professor resigning (which we had just found out today), another professor giving half-assed lectures who refuses to give exam reviews because last semester didn't show up to lectures so she's basically butthurt about it, so on...and so forth. This semester is bringing out the worst in all of us, and I don't want to be surrounded by all the negativities. It's like high school all over again, which is sad--we're all adults here. But before I launch into a long-winded diatribe, I've some good news to share at least. Along with taking the week off, I feel less stressed out. I needed time to myself, as I was beginning to get tired from having to get up and go to either school or work. Fortunately for me, lecture isn't mandatory--so no points taken off for attendance. With so many of my other classmates emailing the higher ups in the program, some of them took time to meet with our class to provide some study tips. The fact that they personally touched base and help us out really resonated with me. And now, I am employing some of their study strategies for this upcoming exam. So far, I feel like the information is sticking with me. And just today, another faculty member held a Zoom meeting to answer questions about the upcoming exam and held a study session for those that could attend. I feel more prepared than ever, and touched that they're going to such lengths to get us to succeed. As far as the other professor goes...well I was quite disappointed with how she prepared us for the last exam. In silent protest, that's why I didn't attend her lectures this time around. I've never had a professor just half-ass her lectures with rushing through the slides, reading verbatim from them, failing to elaborate on things, and not properly answering questions (as in, if I pose a question, rather than give me an honest answer she would brush it off and say something like "Oh, you don't have to worry about that.") But earlier, she finally sent out the focused review for this upcoming exam...despite her original intentions. I think she had received enough complaints from students to finally change it up. Now I'm not one to judge her; this is her first time teaching the material. Still, I expected better... But an exam review is a step in the right direction, so I feel like I can put some trust into her again. So yes, as far as you can see...it's a shitshow right now. But I keep my head up and keep on trucking. At the end of the day, all I want is for myself and my classmates to succeed. And so, we fight on. We're all in the homestretch now. I think with our class (about 50 of us) banding together to make some changes, it is empowering to see it actually take place. I write this in the hopes that I bring even better news in the coming weeks. Man, I can't believe it's 3 more weeks until the semester is over. After that, 3 months' worth of summer vacation. It sounds like a dream to me.

I will encourage that behavior to happen before I leave if at all possible bwahaha :V Gottdang he didn't care he just threw the cat in the car and went on an adventure to the land of the free lmao :V

I watched the first two episodes and didn't like the story well enough to justify the overly dark and gory themes.

I haven’t actually seen it, but it’s notorious for it’s level of blood/gore. I initially thought it had a connection to Blood: The Last Vampire or Blood+ since they all have female protags named Saya fighting vampire like creatures, but apparently not. You could also check out the comments/reviews on it’s MAL page https://myanimelist.net/anime/10490/Blood-C As an aside, I’m not generally a fan of gore but make an exception for Hellsing: Ultimate, Dorohedoro & Shiki. As far as attaching images to a post, on my phone there’s a button at the bottom of where I type a message that says Other Media, I usually select insert image from URL & then plug in the web address. Hope some of this is useful.

Maybe she can go home soon because hospitals really suck and sis hates them I'm going to go visit this weekend and Pessi's worst nightmare is driving there now from Toronto :V Maybe we should be praying for Pessi more....
