I helped my dad bring things inside earlier and put some tarp over some plants and tie it down because of severe weather tonight and over the weekend. I had 1 class today and it was chill because finals are over for the year. After class I went to lunch with some friends and we got rained on but it was still fun :V

Hi there! I'm new to the forum and here to say hello and introduce myself ●‿● I really hope to meet all of you here and get along well. My friends introduced me to this forum and told me I should sign up, so here I am. A little bit about me is my names Rosie, I live in Chicago, Illinois where I attend school during the semester and I go home to California in the Summer for breaks. I collect manga and a little bit of anime merch and a lot of Kpop merch. My favorite is Jungkook from BTS. Some of my favorite animes are Hitori Bocchi, Toradora!, Maid Sama, Tamako Market, and Daily Lives of High School Boys. I like to read fanfiction and light novels in my free time or just simp about cute anime guys (°∀°) Currently simping over Haru Yoshida. Today's been a day off work and I've got tomorrow too. Today's just been working on this game I guess even when I'm off work from working on the game I'm still working on the game in other ways huh I went to Taco Bell and grabbed some early dinner, I was in the mood for tacos but not so much in the mood to make them myself. Cheat days with fast food are something you need sometime.

I haven't gotten anything either and I was at it all day yesterday, half the night, all day today and these nerds already got 2 pieces. I'm tellin you it's a jmod haxx Pessi got lol. I haven't done enough yet to post anything good about. I went grocery shopping with my mom and helped her put stuff away so that really isn't news worthy.

You probably know that the depths of the internet are teeming with various types of “digital personalities” - I would probably belong more to those who like to grab a bucket of popcorn and watch “chaos unfolds itself”, but in the most recent years, I would like to say that I do enjoy participating in discussions more. When I was a wee lad, we had a gaming magazine of sorts, there were always reviews of TV series, films and even anime at the very end. Digimon, Pokemon were already known from where I am (by the way, Onix is a absolute favorite), but with one fateful magazine, I got to know a world from which there was no way I could get out - the world of anime. I was hooked. Since I was 11 years old, I have been into various genres (like everyone else), having watched close to 150 series in total throughout a lot of years. During university, I heard about Gintama from a classmate - and, slowly, I fell in love with the comedy, adventures and everyday non-standard situations that this group of characters offered - and I was also there when it ended (in general, I was pleasantly surprised that there will be a spin-off series Ginpachi-sensei). Besides that, there is another definite favorite: Mushi-shi. the elements of nature, the mysticism, and the music only brightened it all up. I like historical, isekai, adventure, action, slice-of-life, comedy genres. Something about myself - well, I've often been interested in doing creative activities - whether it's moulding polymer clay shapes for coffee mugs, bracelets (sliding knot ones, if that was the correct term), tile mosaics, miniature painting or trying out 100+ recipes (I don't say necessarily no to new things and experimented with everything that comes to mind - utilizing bamboo steamers, organizing hot-pot evenings, using cricket flour to make pancakes, making chocolates on Valentine's Day etc.). Cooking is more of a meditative process - most of the time I make it by myself, and, especially during the summer time - I also grown my own veggies and fruits. But, anime also influences me to try new things - Grand Blue (and Subnautica game) fueled my interest in underwater diving (I swear - the diving part, not the "oolong tea" part, haha). Yuru Camp got me interested in camping (and spending a long time on the road) and I also get a bit of wanderlust from time to time - getting lost and exploring other countries. Volunteering is also what I have done, such as, looking after animals - reptiles (snakes, turtles in rehabilitation centers), birds, dogs, helping out in retirement homes, helping with organizing events etc. I do enjoy swimming and am into Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series. So, has anime (perhaps even a book, movie, song) inspired you to try something new? I'm glad to meet everyone and can't wait to join in the various discussions

There's tornado watches in our area and it's been raining.. I think it's stopped at the moment but we have severe t-storm warnings for tonight too. If you look across Lake Michigan you can see tons and tons of lightning. They said something about a fire watch but I don't think that's my area of downtown Chicago. The sky looks really weird though!

A little jelly here but I'm happy for you lol I've been doing the same thing today, with my day off I've spent it grinding this boss. No rare armor drops yet but the gp is solid. With any luck when I get back on in a little while I'll get one too.

I've been in Chicago for what feels like forever even though it's only been a few weeks. Sunday I got back home to Kentucky. Luckily the plane ride isn't so long and I didn't feel tired when I got home so @Zeref and I decided to take a mini road trip out towards the countryside of Meade County, KY. There's a steakhouse out there we wanted to meet some of my aunts and cousins at for Sunday dinner. The drives about 45 minutes to an hour so a pretty nice long drive out there with a lot of pretty scenery along the way. I took a buncha pictures of everything. The sky was so beautifully blue! I also got some really pretty shots of the Ohio River when we went over it on the bridge. I thought I'd share those from that day here since it's been awhile since I posted a blog entry. First I want to put my favorite ones here ~ the rest will be behind the spoilers The first ones are when we were crossing over the Ohio River and the rest are all pictures from the countryside scenery as we were driving out. Everything has gotten so green now that Spring is here and the sky was perfect that day. I'll put the rest under spoilers here. These are pictures from my Great Aunt's farm such as views from her property and the old barn that has been there for 60 something years. The rest under this spoiler are just pictures of the Kentucky countryside. There's also a few more of the Ohio River in these. That's all for now but I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures ^^

I'm from the part of Texas that's considered part of "the South" in the United States. Of course, I understand. lol

I'm not sure if any of these that I'm about to talk about qualify as being a talent, but just in case they are, here goes: Talent #1: I'm good at playing games and figuring out various things in them. I still tend to use online guides just to make sure I don't miss anything as I play the game though. lol I'm kind of a completionist sometimes, though in some games more than others. Even though I'm good at playing video games, guides still help me out a lot so I don't miss stuff and have to go back to an earlier save file after wasting like 10 hours of progressing the story. lol Oh, and I can memorize a number of things in games that's always stunned Mom and I think big sis', too. Like, for example, I memorized every character's moves in Tekken 3, even the Ten strings (well, some of them), an awesome grapple combo using King, and how to effectively use each characters' moves. That's just an example of how I'm good at games though. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ Talent #2: I can memorize details from anime and movies or shows I like that pretty much no one else remembers. So, when I bring up any details like that, everyone else has forgotten it. lol If I'm not into something though my memory tends to subconsciously half-heartedly try to remember things if I even pay attention. XD Talent #3: I've got an artistic eye with GFX and, according to friends and others, am actually good at it. I thought I was subpar though, but if friends and others say I'm good at it then I must just be struggling with self-esteem issues even these days.

My fav protagonist is the main guy from Tokyo Ghoul, Kaneki. I just really like how he change over time — from this quiet bookworm dude to someone much darker but still kinda holding onto his humanity. I guess I’m into that edgy but tragic type lol. For male chars I usually like the serious kind, but with some deep emotion or pain behind. Not really into the super goofy ones, unless they got some good development. Female-wise, I’m def into the cool and quiet types too — like Kino or Kirika from Noir. They don’t talk much but you feel a lot from them, y’know? Cool to read everyone’s picks here btw

For Male characters, ones that can be kinda dorky or funny sometimes, but loyal & can count on them when it counts. Examples: Kafka Hibino (Kaiju No. 8 ) Yuji Itadori (JJK) & Saichi Sugimito (Golden Kamuy). Also ones that can think outside the box & come up creative strategies. Examples: Sunraku (Shangri La Frontier) & early MHA Deku. For female characters, not necessarily tomboy but not overly girly acting (no damsels). Kinda quirky. True to their convictions & passions, but also has a vulnerable & caring side they only show to people they really care about. Examples: Nobara (JJK), Ameri (Iruma-kun), Rin (Yuru Camp), Midori & Kanamori (Eizouken).

Helllll yeaaaaa these are sweet you've got talent with that camera.
