Finished the Spring theme banner for my forums ~ I'm pretty happy with the turn out. There are still a few bits on it that I'm iffy over but I think it's still good regardless. You'll have to click on it to view it in another tab I guess to view the full size of it, since it's so large as it's meaning to go across the entire top front page of my anime forums. So yeah, spoiler alert for everyone, the Spring theme coming out on March 1st for the website redo is gonna be Natsume Spring themed lol

How do you only eat 25% and not consume the entire can at once like a little woods goblin or is that just me? That looks like a pretty place for a hike~ ~~~~~~~ I don't know why but today I started picking out clothes for my trip to Finland~ It's less than a month away now so I guess I should be thinking about it. I'm going with Zeref, Zariel, and Lucky and even though it's still some time away, I'm starting to get a little too hyper about it.

Life update from Ecuador I guess :v I got stuck on a volcano mountain last week because it started to hail and rain so we couldn't take the lift back down but it's okay because there were alpacas! Some monkeys are living outside my bedroom window whom I've named Tom, Brad, and Jerry. Yesterday Jerry left me a seed (I think) on my window sill. I have only had 2 tarantulas in my bedroom or house this week so that's an improvement :v there was a lizard in my bathroom last night however. Yesterday I didn't have class so we took a boat ride and ended up at a petting zoo! I finally tried guinea pig too which I didn't want at all to begin with (they eat guinea pig a lot in Ecuador) and it wasn't as bad as I imagined.

Since graduating high school, I've mostly been working fast food, studying japanese, and drawing repeat repeat repeat... That was until I took the JLPT n4 test in december. I failed it. But ya, I did. I learned a lot about how the test works and how to study for it. I'm still studying as much as I can, but now I have a new goal! I'm drawing a manga for Silent Manga Audition! I'm still studying japanese for N3.... which is the next hardest test. the thing is I almost passed the test, and I just don't want to take it again! I have a lot of goals now, and I'm making progress in them so its ok! On top of that, I'm starting a phelubotomy course starting in April so I don't have to keep working in fast food. My job is chill, but sometimes its brain numbing. yknow? So now I have so many things on my plate, the manga contest (may 10th is the deadline), JLPT n3 (next december), and work. Its kind a lot but it keeps me busy! In January I was feeling pretty down bc I was just waiting for my test results, but now I have things to do which is nice! I've only completed one page of my manga, so I kinda need to lock in and work on that. I'm gonna do that right now, but just to give u guys an idea of what its about, the title is "I had a Dream where I Learned how to Skateboard, so I turned it into a Reality!" But ya, lots of things going on. But I'm locked in!!!!!!!!! RAHHHHHHHHH☆*:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:*☆

That's amazing and it already looks great on the forum. Me and Pessi will get colors coded for it by the end of the week for the theme to match. Everything about this one is great.

Weather was great today so I went for a short hike at lunch. All the recent rain is still draining from the watershed area making the Arroyo Seco not so seco..

Those 2 really summed up my feelings about how it's changed. Animes used to be longer, have some depth, and good character development. Whereas now it just seems like they try to hurry up and mass produce them as fast as possible in hopes it'll be a hit and they'll get a lot of money. A lot of storylines give me a feeling of "haven't I already seen this just with different characters in a different anime"? because everything is the same in a lot of the genres. Don't get me wrong I do think there are still some worthwhile new ones being made it's just not how it was for me.

There's much more to choose from now than when I was a kid. Maybe it's because it's more accessible but I could only watch what anime was on tv back then unless I convinced my mom to let me rent a DVD from the library. When I started watching it when I was 7 or 8 it was 2012-2013 and I don't remember being able to stream it on the computer the way you can now. Not that I even had unsupervised access to the computer then :v It's more mainstream too.. More people like it at my age than they did back then so I can talk with more people about anime and that changes the experience for me because you have friends to share it with. I hope it stays popular so more and more people get interested and we have that many more to chat with about it.

Meh yeah, I don't pay much attention to HS anymore either except to check on RL to see what someone's level is in something sometimes and even then I don't really look at that all much either o_O I guess I don't care anymore I just level whatever whenever I feel like it these days but I remember being younger and HS being everything lol

Not really bored but not much to do either. Though I was occupied for the last 2 hours making a banner for my forum's Spring opening, so at least I was busy for awhile. Happy with how it turned it out I guess so I guess I should be feeling accomplished lol~

I went out to lunch to get some food at lunchtime today and got stuck in a really long line and by the time I got my food my lunch was over so I had to eat it at my desk while working I went to work out this evening and helped make dinner too.

If you do starfish you have to do sea sponges with it lol

Thanks we still have power but ig still a state of emergency here. We get a lot of snow but not this much at a time. We get around a foot at a time sometimes more but not 37 inches like this. It would suck if the power went out but since it hasn't im sort of glad because every thing is canceled and Im sleeping in.

Considering that this is a forum, there are lots of people on here with such varied experiences when it comes to the anime world. There are new fans and old fans alike! I'm curious, how has anime changed in your time? This applies to anybody regardless of how long you've been interested. These changes could be anything from the anime community to actual content in anime itself. What have you noticed? Do you like these changes or not, and why is that? Do you wish you could go back to a different era, or do you enjoy how things stand now? How do you think anime will continue to change in the future?

I'm going to continue doing some fish blogs for awhile since I'm having some fun writing them and people seem to be interested in them. So my question is, what fish or marine animal would you like me to write about in upcoming blogs? I'll eventually get around to all suggestions, and it can be any type of fish, shark, or marine life animal. So far I have a list of upcoming ones for: Oarfish Anglerfish Any other suggestions anyone has?

We didn't get as much as you but where I'm at we got close to 6 inches at my house and we had blizzard warnings. Our power went out for about 20 minutes during the worst of it and then came back on so we haven't been without power. The news says there's going to be another 2-4 inches tomorrow in my area.

Give her a soft blanket, a kitten to cuddle, kiss her head, make sure she has ice cream, bean dip with chips, and cheese, and watch Natsume's Book of Friends with her. Oh, and I can't forgot to make sure there is a fireplace going because she likes those.

I've been following this japanese artist on twitter called abogado6. He makes illustrations with interesting stories. Most of the time its dark, with critiques on japanese society, but sometimes its about cats too... like this art which he called "make a tiger"

Does anyone look at HS anymore? I forgot they existed ngl. You can get 99 in something anymore and not even been in top 100k sometimes unless you're doing HC modes.

Loads of good suggestions here. Something about starfish would be good as would more about the different types of shark.

No makes perfect sense, that's how I feel most days after school.

The animation is better now but I don't feel like they put half as much effort into anime as they used to. Since it's so popular now I feel like they just churn out anime left and right and it isn't that good anymore in character development or story line. There's a few good ones here and there, but overall it's nowhere near as good as it used to be to me.

Well you should be here then. I'm currently in the middle of what they are calling the worst snowstorm to ever hit Rhode Island. Right now we have around 36 inches of snow at my house, most people don't have power but by some miracle we still do. My dad said something about a travel ban and the bridges being closed but not sure what that means or does or how it effects me because I can't go outside anyway. When we opened the door a little bit ago the snow has piled up so high on the door from drifts and wind that it's almost higher than the door and we will have to literally dig our way out. We have a generator if things go bad though I guess, and plenty of food and blankets. Travel bans Snowfall totals

Are you going to go for the pet? Honestly, I'm kinda looking forward to something new to do, anything to get off the boat I guess at this point lmao I still like sailing, and I don't want to stop doing it at least until 90, but it would be nice to switch something up for a bit.
