Hey Archer, welcome to Anime Forums and nice intro. Ooh, several of your favourite anime I love too! Angel Beats, Your Lie in April, Charlotte. You know, I think I agree with you there. Dimension W was also high on my list, but KonoSuba really takes the cake for it's ridiculous spontaneous humour. We've been heavily discussing ERASED so you're definitely welcome to join in our episode discussions here if you like: https://animeforums.net/forums/erased.108/ Awesome. Recently we implemented separate anime forum sections, it's a bit of a work in progress so some of them look a little empty but I'm working on making them look more lively. You're definitely welcome to post in any anime title sections that interest you. Just FYI I'm on Australian time zone so I'm usually online when it's late evening for the US members here. Enjoy your stay!

Hello @ThatCynicalSnob , Thanks for the suggestion. My original intention was to make the new anime series forums more visible. You make some good points regarding new user visibility, so I have now moved General Anime back to the top into a separate container to make it more distinct. Also taking this opportunity to adjust: Recent Posts block on top of forum list to show threads from General Anime and the anime series forums only adding New Topics onto the sidebar Increasing Recent Topics and New Topics on sidebar to 10 6 Let me know your thoughts...

I STILL haven't watched this yet, but have heard it's really good (including the comments above). Hoping to make a start on the first season within this month. Looks like there's lots of seasons and episodes!

This is the character discussion thread for Nao Tomori from Charlotte (2015). Feel free to: Discuss your thoughts on the character! Share your favourite images, scenes, wallpapers of the character! Oh Nao, such a smug (and initially violent) character, with really blue eyes! Her special ability to disappear was probably my most favourite out of all the abilities. Definitely was a nice touch. My only disappointment was, by the time she showed her full warm side to Yuu... the show was already over. Any other Nao fans out there?

My most favourite HDN anime episode. You know, looking at this episode again, did Arfoire really think taunting Nepgear like that was a good idea? I suppose she got arrogant after trapping the four CPUs like that... but Arfoire clearly underestimated the power of Nepgear's rage when someone tries to steal or kill Neptune, because as we all clearly know: Nepgear LOVES her sister very, very, VERY MUCH! Seeing Nepgear unleash hell on Arfoire was beyond awesome. And with a beam this large, that really makes Purple Heart look pretty lacklustre in comparison. .... ... ... Wait a minute, didn't she just obliterate the structure that was holding all the CPUs inside? Oh it's OK, they turned back into share energy and came back so it's OK. I think. The HDD form cuddles at the end were also done really well too. If I recall in the game, it was a little anti-climatic. After those boss battles in the graveyard, it just felt like oh we're done, back to the Basilicom. Though yes we did get a nice CG of Nepgear and Neptune embracing. Then Neptune had a scolding from Histoire for her getting captured in the first place. Whereas here in the anime, we get some really heart-warming moments with dramatic music as they get reunited with their sisters. Blanc, you're soo cool-headed even in a moment like this. Uni FINALLY got the praise she wanted from Noire. (no closeup of them cuddling though?! ) Nepgear proved herself to Neptune. And the embracing. Because Nepgear really really loves, eh you know the rest. Vert got cuddles from Nepgear. Did I also mention how adorable Nepgear is?

Started watching this as per @Akame 's recommendation. To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect from this show. The main cover features Akame, and I was intrigued. Would this be a light-hearted action adventure? Probably not since "kill" was in the name. Well... I loved it! It was thrilling by the end of the episode! The start was REALLY amusing and light-hearted, seeing poor Tatsumi's dreams shattered by being unable to easily join the imperial army so quickly and then being swindled by Leone. Then him being happy again by being welcomed into that mansion.. and that shopping trip. The twist at the end though revealing Lady Aria and her family being 100% dodgy was something I TOTALLY didn't expect. Stranger danger! Yet, the way they were portraying Night Raid as being the villains was something I was truly going to believe, up until we saw the tortured state of Tatsumi's friends. Seeing Tatsumi want to continue his resolve after such a horrendous event, I think is great. He has a decent reason to continue, and Night Raid can't be that bad, right? Overall, really loved this episode and I think I'm hooked...

This is the character discussion thread for Akame from Akame ga Kill! Feel free to: Discuss your thoughts on the character! Share your favourite images, scenes, wallpapers of the character! Akame... she's adorable and cool-headed. An adorable killer with very long jet black hair, red eyes, and very strong katana skills. I was also pleasantly surprised to see her how much she cared towards after Tatsumi's first mission upon joining Night Raid. Soo heartwarming awhh! Having said that, I've only seen the first three episodes so far so my opinion of Akame may change. But for now she's definitely my most favourite so far. Any other Akame fans out there? *cough* @Akame

This is the character discussion thread for Asuna (Yuuki Asuna) from Sword Art Online. Feel free to: Discuss your thoughts on the character! Share your favourite images, scenes, wallpapers of the character! Well to kick things off, out of all the characters in Sword Art Online, Asuna would have to be my most favourite character because she was shown to be pretty badass in the first season with those rapier sword skills. And her outfit in the Sword Art Online arc was absolutely fabulous. I think the pairing with her and Kirito was the right one in the end. All the other possible pairings to me would not have been as strong, though I am curious to see how they might have turned out. Any other Asuna fans out there?

My least favourite Sword Art Online moments... Spoilers ahead! Season 1 Episode 4: The Black Swordsman This was Silica's episode. Silica is a cute and adorable character. And she had a nice red outfit that really suited her, that I will admit. But Silica's circumstances really bothered me. She got into an argument with her party, gets into a dangerous situation and somehow, with a stroke of luck Kirito just happened to be in the right place, in the right time to save her. REALLY?!?! Did that not bother anyone else? Why didn't Silica just wait until she got back into the relative safety of town before disbanding from her party? Episode 24: Glided Hero This was the climax of the Alfheim Online arc, Kirito finally broke through to free Asuna. Then Sugou molests Asuna by undressing her slowly and licking her tears whilst leaving an impaled sword into Kirito. OK. I realise they already portrayed Sugou as having a fetish towards Asuna and him being super dodgy to her body outside Alfheim Online. But I just felt the molesting probably could have been left out. Season 2 Episode 13: Phantom Bullet After the Death Gun battle, Kirito and Sinon embrace and both go out with a bang with a hand grenade so that they both win Gun Gale Online. Lovely, and absolutely touching scene!! ... then that was completely RUINED after Sinon/Asada's dodgy friend Shinkawa reveals himself as an accomplice in the player murders. Then attempts to rape her. And yet, despite this, Kirito was able to pinpoint Asada's location and save her. Ehh.... another scene that probably wasn't necessary in my opinion. Other than that... you know, overall I found Sword Art Online to be quite enjoyable. Beautifully animated worlds, battles, and despite the harem aspects, I thought they were charming in a way. How about you? What were your least favourite Sword Art Online moments and why?

That's a fair comment. Given it's immense popularity, many people either love it or hate it with a passion. Looking back at both seasons as a whole there were many moments of SAO which I didn't like, and admittedly if Asuna wasn't in it I probably would have dropped it early in the first season. I think I'll create threads with my favourite and least favourite moments. Yes...

Hello everyone, How can you lighten up your boring fridge or refrigerator? With anime magnets! They're a bit pricey compared to normal magnets, costing between 400-800 yen each, with the more popular franchises costing more. I personally think they're nice to have. It kind of puts a smile on your face every time you use the fridge. Though we MIGHT have went a bit overboard with our fridge... What do you think of anime magnets, and would you buy one? Why, or why not?

Just thought I'd reflect one year later since I made this thread... and I feel I've improved my organisation skills by: Maintaining a set of labelled ring binders on the shelf (tax, medical, insurance, all those mundane things) Trying to avoid using sticky notes where possible Scanning all my receipts and then throwing them away Relying on calendar alerts on smartphone for important appointments I've also been experimenting with To-Do lists, for two reasons. Recurring tasks (e.g. pay rent weekly, check something) and ad-hoc ideas. There were so many times where I had an idea for a project or remembered something I had to do but then forgot later because I didn't write it down. By quickly noting it down in a To-Do list app I've been able to put some order to chaos in those sporadic ideas. Looking at all the responses above, it seems most of you are using a smartphone to keep on top of things which is great!

Started watching this comedy ecchi as per @SanguineTear 's recommendation. My first impressions. This appears to be a nice innocent tale of a classic high school crush between Rito Yuuki and Haruna Sairenji. I found it very hilarious how each time Rito tried to confess to Haruna throughout his whole life there was always something that got in the way: The big twist of course is... Lala Satalin Deviluke, who "coincidentially warped" into Rito's bath after trying to escape. Lala is ridiculously cute, ditzy and genki.

[FLOAT_RIGHT][/FLOAT_RIGHT] Absolutely ridiculous show BUT...... it's 'fricken hilarious. I haven't laughed this hard since Amagi Brilliant Park. KonoSuba is a nice comedy that takes place in a parallel world in the style of an RPG/adventure that really doesn't take itself seriously at all. From the moment Kazuma dragged smirk goddess Aqua into the parallel world after his ridiculous misfortune, along with Megumin, the explosion magic specialist that passes out after one attack and finally Raratina, the masochistic crusader that can almost never hit anything.... I was laughing all the way through. Aqua is probably my most favourite character. So spontaneous, so free-spirited. ...yes they're all indeed a bunch of silly characters. Anyone else watching this? What do you think of it, and who is your favourite character?

I haven't really dived into the Pokemon games since X/Y. In almost all the games, I've found the Male/Female trainer outfits for the trainers you play to be very... uninspiring. The only outfit I really liked was May's one back in Ruby/Sapphire! And that was for a remake of the old Red/Blue games from memory. Therefore I do agree with both @Ryuji and @Evil Bunny of Doom that more individual outfit customisation would be a very welcome addition.

As Re;birth 2/MkII was my absolute favourite HDN game due to its main plot, it should come as no surprise that this and the next episode were my most favourite in the anime. And well Nepgear being my top favourite probably helps too. Now if I recall, the original plot involved Nepgear having to convince Uni, Ram and Rom to join her adventure. And Uni in particular was VERY VERY confrontational towards Nepgear in her first encounter. Although here in the anime they're already friends, I loved how they were still able to add some tension with Uni blaming Nepgear for not mentioning Arfoire's share sapping crystals earlier. Seriously (and I'm aware saying seriously over and over diminishes the meaning, but seriously ) ... these beautiful scenes turned me to jelly. Oh yes, and Pirachu's lamenting due to having to upload those lewd photos of the captive CPUs via a 56k dialup modem was hilarious. Of course... the biggest highlight of all was Nepgear reflecting on her need to be stronger than Neptune instead of looking up to her all the time, and thus transforming for the first time into Purple Sister. They nailed this scene PERFECTLY! Although I don't recall being able to spam Purple Sister's M.P.B.L SP move like this.

Yes the ending was so very MkII/Re;birth 2.. I also read the ending theme for that episode was from MkII, I can't remember if that was in Re;birth 2 as well. I liked 5pb's concert at the start (although a little short)... Vert's gaming session of Four Goddesses Online (with her screens displaying parts of the HDN games and all) was pretty amusing Also, Uni putting together Vert's collectible figure after she dropped it.

Yeah I found CFW Trick to be quite annoying, so for me seeing Blanc unleashing hell on him in CPU form towards the end was extremely satisfying. Ram and Rom were definite highlights in this episode too. So adorable.

[FLOAT_RIGHT][/FLOAT_RIGHT]I think I can speak for everyone in this thread, that @SanguineTear has the best boss ever. I mean seriously... that's awesome. How many bosses out there let you watch anime during work? *jealous*

Hey @Koki , is this for spirits only or are all characters allowed? Might make this into a poll if you're cool with that? Kurumi is definitely a fan favourite.

Oh my gosh!!! SERIOUSLY?! @EmperorQinmon , @feelme ... seriously.... seriously....? Darn it! And how on earth is Satoru going to get out of this sticky situation...?! :'( On another note I was pleasantly surprised (even if it was slightly rushed) how Airi Katagiri was befriended by Satoru and his classmates. MUST NOW reassure myself with happy relationship scenes that Satoru created that were shown towards the end of the episode.
