  3. Hey @Bard, welcome to Anime Forums! Your signature image is adorable. Also I think you're the first member that has posted an introduction with a poll. Hope you enjoy your stay here.
  4. Hey Kourin-chan, welcome to Anime Forums! Nice vivid introduction. This caught my eye. Is this a Yu-Gi-Oh spin-off series? Would you recommend it? I'm currently being nostalgic and watching all five seasons of the Japanese version of Duel Monsters. Much to my dismay (though not surprisingly) there were quite a few changes to the English dub I remember watching years ago. Hope you enjoy your stay here.

    Heya!

Hello Corvus, welcome to Anime Forums (.net) Ah, you're from A4? I noticed how unstable it is at times, half the time when I visit it I get "Server is too busy" which seems to be caused by the current owners. It think it's good though your staff are being proactive and moving to a new re-branded community, hope it goes well. When Sakuga City appears I'd love to visit. Enjoy your stay here!
  6. The 2016 Winter season is drawing to an end. Which anime girl did you like the most and why? I'm tied between two. 1. Mira Yurizaki Dimension W Despite being an android, Mira is REALY genki (even if Kyouma doesn't treat her nicely), cute and... that tail. But on a more serious note, she did kick ass with Kyouma on many occasions. My most favourite moments were when Mira was learning to be "more human" by hanging out with Kyouma and his garage early in the season. 2. Merry Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash I have to say, this was truly unexpected. I was so close to dropping Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash... until Merry came along. I was a little unsure as she treated the party by being really cold... then she just turned everything around with the whole party. Mild tsundere, elegant priest that really warmed up to Haruhiro. Again though, on a more serious note, she did bring her own tragic past which absolutely added much needed tension and an interesting twist to the series that drew me back to the series. Which anime girl did you like the most this season and why?
  7. The 2016 Winter season is drawing to an end. Which anime titles did you enjoy the most and why? My top favourites would have to be: 1. Erased My most favourite thanks to all the thrilling revival and nail-biting moments that Satoru went through, coupled with the heart-warming smile of Hinazuki. Just seeing Satoru struggle so many times and him picking himself up was the biggest highlight for me. 2. Dimension W An awesome Sci-Fi world, the concept of coils providing infinite energy for mankind, along with collector mercenaries and lots of action. It was pretty unique, and I especially loved Kyouma and Mira. Kyouma for his badass combat skills and Mira for her almost human-like personality despite being a highly advanced android. 3. KonoSuba - God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!! A stupid, absurd and ridiculous title that thankfully didn't take itself seriously. Seeing Kazuma put up with his idiot party was amusing and very funny at times. But on the same note, he did enjoy hanging out with them after all. This title was without a doubt the funniest title this season for me. And laughter is good. Which anime titles did you enjoy the most this season and why?
  8. This, without a doubt. *cough* No Game No Life. I want my complete ending!!
  9. So I kind of fell in love with Black Rock Shooter again and was looking at some of the figures of her and found three very lovely Good Smile Company figures. A: Original ver. B: Anime ver. C: Black Blade ver. Which one do you think I should get? ... or all of them? That could be an option... though my wallet won't like it.
  10. Oh I see! So you had a new fridge door retrofitted? But could you not still put magnets or stickers on the side of the fridge? In my photo above all the magnets are on the left hand side. Or is your fridge inside a cabinet so the sides are not reachable? Yeah, unfortunately for anime merchandise like this (magnets, badges, towels, pens, pencils, etc.) you really need to pre-order them as the anime is airing in Japan, availability is just so limited. Outside of the second hand market (maybe scouring Amazon.JP, eBay, etc.) the only other option would be to wait for a third season or movie for Is the Order a Rabbit for it to get a fresh merchandise round.
  11. Ah well the chat agent seemed friendly so I thought why not throw in the smilies? Sorry for my late reply - was absent for a bit. It includes both the English dub and Japanese w/English subtitles as selectable tracks. Play-Asia are pretty good, I've ordered Blu-Rays and PS3 games from them before. Good to hear they resolved your issue.
  12. Your account has now been merged. All your posts under Slaine now belong to @Kei Nagai. Apologies for the delay.
  13. I finally landed a new role after a month of job-seeking, and I start on Wednesday! Should be very interesting. Got so many messages to catch up here which I'll get to this weekend.

    Hai ^_^

Hey there @Davis, welcome to Anime Forums. Hope you enjoy your stay here.
  15. Ah yes... Terror in Resonance. I agree that the English kind of killed the immersion for me, ESPECIALLY from Five! From memory in one of the episodes she was coordinating with American agents against Nine and Twelve whilst looking at surveillance cameras at the airport... and to do that she was speaking English with a heavy accent. Problem was, it was meant to be a serious tense moment. Otherwise, I LOVED this show was such a great thriller. Hey Koki, please keep this on-topic. But yes, if you're into thrillers I think you'll like it.
  16. OK good to hear. That is strange - and you've checked your SPAM/Junk Mail folder on the Outlook account in case it mistakenly got flagged as SPAM? If it's not in your SPAM folder then I'll have to lodge a report to Microsoft to see what's going on.
  17. Hello @Kei Nagai , I'll contact you in private to resolve this.
  18. I am adding two more to my list... [FLOAT_RIGHT][/FLOAT_RIGHT]3. Mine Akame ga Kill! She's very bratty, and me being a sucker for tsunderes is probably just kicking in again. Also gave Tatsumi a REALLY hard time on their first encounters. But she has an awesome long range rifle as her superweapon! Oh yes, twintails too. But my opinion might change later, I've only seen three episodes of this series so far. [FLOAT_LEFT] [/FLOAT_LEFT]4. Asuka Kurashina Four Rhythm Across the Blue Admittedly I was not very fond of Asuka at first. She is VERY ditzy and care-free, and maybe even a bit naive with her aspirations - at least initially. But you know, she continued to kick ass and surprise everyone with her abilities during the (FC) Flying Circus events. On that basis I think she's awesome now.
  19. I almost forgot about this scene... Had to go back to my comments on Episode 07. Totally agree - at that point I think it was awesome Nao was like the redeeming light for Yuu after that "incident" with Ayumi. There is one thing that bugs me slightly though - in one of the epsiodes Nao was beaten up by some of her classmates which Yuu witnessed. Can you remember if it was ever explained why she drew the ire of those classmates? I might have to rewatch this series again..
  20. Thanks @Archer . Even with just one room you can get a nice effect with just the IKEA Dioder LED strips - I used the non colour version for the HDTV backlighting. This one supports lots of colours: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50192365/ As a starting point you could just stick them behind your monitor, laptop or even underneath a shelf to get a nice backlighting effect. They'll last a long time.
  21. Hello @Asad Shoro , welcome to Anime Forums! Had a look and that's an interesting product you got there. As an Australian, latency was always a huge turn off for me when I used to game on US servers. Haha, well out of curiosity who are some of your top favourite anime titles and characters? Hope you enjoy your stay here.
  22. This is my experience on getting a replacement for a damaged product I received from Amazon. Things to consider: I live in Australia. This was purchased from the Amazon US store. Shipping is fairly expensive to and from the US. The Faulty Product I bought Akame ga Kill Collection 1 Limited Edition from Amazon and when it arrived, the outer box was damaged. Now I was quite certain it was damaged from the start before being shipped because the shipping box was in good condition and I buy from Amazon quite often - this is the first time this has happened to me! If it was a normal edition then I would have let this slide, but I just couldn't as this was a Limited Edition... so off to Amazon's website to learn more about the Returns and Replacement process. I followed the steps in Amazon My Account and was given the option to get an immediate replacement shipped out to me, whilst being required to ship it back at the Post Office (it seems in the US, you would get the option for a courier to pick it up), as I am in Australia this was the only feasible option. I was automatically refunded $15 USD to cover the cost of return shipping. However... Australia Post is expensive to ship parcels internationally. To ship this thing back to Amazon Returns (Lexington $15 USD would have been enough if it was just under 500g but this lovely Akame ga Kill package was about 700g. So that puts it in the second bracket. It cost me $36.70 AUD to ship back, leaving me slightly out of pocket on the return shipping. I am not kidding seriously look at these brutal shipping prices for International parcels: Now to be fair, the only other online retailer I know of that covers the return shipping for faulty items is Dell. So the fact that Amazon even offered anything back on the return shipping was a bonus in my opinion (Australian online retailers, you can learn from this! ) So I shipped it anyway to get the ball going, and Amazon already started shipping the replacement item. Basically it just did the same order again, free of charge as long as the damaged item made it back within a month - otherwise they would charge you again on your Credit Card. And so my return parcel was sent from lovely Perth, Western Australia on its long journey back to Lexington, Kentucky in the United States. It took 2 weeks to arrive! Estimated 3-10 business days??! Pfft, as if. I received the new replacement from Amazon about a week and a half after I sent the return parcel. Fingers crossed I hoped it was in good condition.... Yup, in excellent condition. I also managed to get Amazon to provide me with $27.40 USD for return shipping based on the photo I sent via their Live Chat: When my return parcel finally reached Amazon, they updated my Return order status with a confirmation email: So in summary, Amazon has great customer service. Of course had they not shipped a damaged item in the first place I would have avoided 2 weeks of mucking about - but the fact that they covered the return shipping and IMMEDIATELY shipped a replacement item was awesome. The only thing I can think of where this could go wrong is if your return shipment of the faulty item gets lost in the mail and doesn't make it back to Amazon... then that could be a very messy situation. You'd have to then make an insurance claim with Australia Post... Anyway just thought I'd share my experience and thought it might be useful especeially for those buying from Amazon US that live outside the US.
  23. Welcome to Anime Forums :) Ooh you're from Holland? I visited Amsterdam once for holiday - it's a nice place!

  24. Bunny - I really don't understand what you mean by this? You just reminded me of pre-LCD monitors, on the old CRT monitors. Magnets would really bugger them up - then you'd have to degauss them. For that reason I just can't imagine putting magnets anywhere near PCs out of habit, despite technology having moved on.
  25. Alright, poll added. Added most of the main characters. You know, this is a really hard one for me. I adored most of the spirits AND their awesome combat forms. If it was just spirits in their combat forms then Kotori! But outside the spirits I also adored Origami and Mana: And if we're talking spirits outside their combat forms, then Tohka and Yoshino are really adorable too. As a side note... many of the character designs were by Conserve who also did the characters for Hyperdimension Neptunia. Hence why there are similarities between the CPU combat outfits and the combat outfits for Origami and Mana. The Yamai sisters were pretty funny but their combat outfits were too lewd for my liking. And I wasn't too fond of Miku due to her manipulative ability at the start... ... ... My vote goes to Kotori then, just because of her badass flame abilities. And well, she was a good little adopted sister (kind of ). Having said that Kurumi was a very close second for me... her affection towards Shido was overwhelming to say the least. I THINK @SanguineTear also likes Kurumi too.
