I always eat dessert when I'm at home, but I never have dessert when I go out to a restaurant because I object to paying more for the dessert than I paid for the main course. Saturday would have been my late father's 100th birthday, so I'll be putting some flowers on his grave. Sunday I'll be going to church as usual, this Sunday it's my turn to run the sound and video projection desk. What's your idea of a really great day out?

I've finished rewatching Aquatope on White Sand. This is a wonderful Slice of Life series about two girls who work in an aquarium. The artwork and animation is excellent, especially the fish and other aquatic animals. The two girls and their friends are believable characters each with their own personalities. The series has a great story and some beautiful background music. This is definitely an overlooked and under appreciated anime.

I'm not so sure that the movie was Laputa; Castle in the Sky. That movie doesn't start in a classroom and there is only one boy and one girl, and she has brown hair not blonde. On the other hand, there are airships and there is a train. There's also a castle which is shown floating away into space at the very end of the movie.
