And reading that comment reminds me that I need to stop reading AF and go do some grocery shopping, if I don't I'm going to have some very odd meals this week.

I'd love to be extremely good at art because my efforts at drawing anything look nothing like what I'm trying to draw. Would you rather have a very highly paid job that you hate doing or a poorly paid job that you enjoy doing?

Laputa; Castle in the Sky is one of my all time favourite films, I've lost count of how many times I've watched it. When Marnie Was There is a beautiful film, I think you'll like it.

They contain two liquids that glow due to a chemical reaction between them. The liquids aren't poisonous or toxic but can cause a skin irritation and will give you a stomach ache if you swallow them. I can understand that. While I go out quite a lot I dislike going to parties and such like because I have difficulty socialising and talking to people I've not met before. When I was younger I used to dread being invited to other children's birthday parties. When I got a bit older I told my parents that I did not want big birthday parties I just wanted two or three of my friends round for tea.

As another quiet person I usually get ignored as well and if I do move their carts out of the way I get the "how dare you touch my cart you rude young person" look, which is amusing because as I now receive my state pension I'm officially an 'old person', which means I'm probably older than the aisle-blocker.

I have to admit that when my parents were alive I did use online shopping, they were housebound so online shopping saved me having to give up a large chunk of Saturday morning doing the shopping. We stopped using it when they put the minimum order to qualify for free delivery up to a level that even with three of us we couldn't get the order value up to the minimum spend. Now I'm retired I shop mid-week, but the shop can still be crowded. My dislike of crowds comes from spending many years working in central London and travelling in overcrowded commuter trains each day. I got used to it, but it wasn't fun.

On a related note, my local supermarket has a lot of 'personal shoppers' (I think that's what they're called) these are the staff who go around making up the orders for mail order home deliveries. They all have these HUGE trolleys and when two of them are in the same aisle they totally block it!

I guess we're all radioactive, but I think we're OK as long as we don't start glowing in the dark . Dried fruit seems to be quite a popular thing, but I've never really liked it.

I'm not actually collecting anything special at the moment. But I did collect model cars until I started to run out of space to keep and display them, I also collected NASA mission patches and have a complete set of Apollo and Space Shuttle mission patches. Do you do any model making or craft work?

Now that was an interesting did-you-know-fact. I like bananas and have one with my lunch every day, unless I go out and take a packed lunch.
