I’m alright, a little frustrated at work lately but that’s mostly because I’ve been trying to get an order of 15,000 trail maps out the door for several weeks now. I can’t dedicate my full attention to it because we still have other orders to take care of as well. I’m really glad that the municipality that ordered these is incredibly patient and doesn’t start handing these ones out until late spring/early summer anyway, but I’d still like to finally be done with it so that I can get properly caught up on everything else. Honestly, it’s a minor frustration, really. Otherwise, I’ve been really good!

Where I live, growing up it was always primarily girls that were the avid anime fans, hardly any of the boys were. I think it really depends on where you live or grew up.

I usually watch Subs, just because. I have a hard time hearing voices in most movies and tv shows in general, and my husband is partially deaf in one ear, so we tend to watch most things with subtitles on anyway, not just anime. I don’t have any problem reading and watching at the same time, so it’s not hard for me to keep up with everything going on. Sometimes Andy will struggle a little bit, but he’s also dyslexic so it takes him a bit longer to read every now and then.

We watched a couple episodes of City Hunter last night because the ending theme has been stuck in both of our heads relentlessly lmao

We used to watch a little bit of anime on Netflix and Disney+, but we stopped subscribing to Netflix awhile ago and the Disney+ account belonged to Andy’s dad but he doesn’t subscribe to it at the moment. We have Prime, but have yet to watch any anime on it. And then recently we decided to get Crunchyroll and have been watching a bunch of different things on it.

Depends on my mood and whims at the time haha, I’m not particularly attached to my characters’ genders. Don’t care what other people play as either

The last time I saw a movie at a cinema was when the first Joker movie came out. We don’t have a movie theatre here, which means we have to drive down to the city to see one in theatres, so it’s not something we really bother doing much.

I’ve already quoted and reacted to a couple of your posts around, but I still wanted to stop in and say welcome to AF!

Yeah, I think accountants (and bookkeepers) will always be in demand, smart move. Having a love for investing is such a bonus too, helps keep it fun for you! Maybe once you’ve finished with school and settled in to a working routine, you might still be able to pursue proofreading or editing on the side in the future

I haven’t been on a plane for several years and I’ve only ever flown between Vancouver and Toronto, but I don’t mind it. Usually I’ll just throw on one of the dumb movies that they have available to pass the time.

It’s just past 11am so still lots of the day left. Andy works on Saturdays so I got up with him and we had breakfast together before he left for work. Also loaded the dishwasher and tidied up the kitchen a little bit. Mum stopped by not too long ago, I’m babysitting her dog while she’s out doing errands. Just finishing up some coffee now and browsing the forum while I relax.

I’m doing pretty good overall. It’s raining a lot today, so I’ve been enjoying listening to it and watching it, though I probably won’t go for a rain walk, in the mood for a cozy day inside today.

I’m of the same opinion as you. If a channel/radio station/etc feels the need to censor something, then they shouldn’t bother showing/playing it in the first place.
