  1. GOM audio. The only reason I use it is because it's the only music player that is compatible with my jury-rigged audio set-up. I'm outputting my audio via USB to my DDJ-SR. It don't even make no none sense that it works. But it do.
  2. I don't watch things that have fillers in them to begin with. Feels good, dude.

    OS of Choice

Those UI's are pretty uggo, though. I can't install it right now, anyway, because the laptop I'm using isn't technically "mine." I'd get too much crap for installing a complete different OS on it. I'll keep it in mind in the future, though.

    OS of Choice

If I were to go with Linux, I'd most likely want to go all the way and go with Arch, and to my understanding, that's going to lead me to Googling "how to" for every tiny little thing I would want to do, and there'd be a ton of stuff I'd need to do.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqIAdxRLKoE Absolutely fantastic. Although if this counts, I'd say this is even better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXC-tvQdQzA It was featured as the ED in episode 23 of Steins;Gate's anime adaptation. When I heard it, I was blown away, because I had heard the lyrics sampled somewhere else, and didn't know their source for a very long time.
  6. Monogatari series top tier soundtrack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BVVBPknLt8 I haven't even watched Tsukimonogatari yet. I believe that video is pitched up to avoid copyright strikes/takedowns. https://soundcloud.com/fuburagi/orange-mint This sounds much more natural. (and better)
  7. I use Crunchyroll, because I have a toaster and it struggles to torrent things. Sometimes the entire computer locks up and I can't do anything. I shouldn't be having any problems, yet I do, so CR it is. There's hardly any anime I want to bother watching anyway, most of it is on CR. If not, I dunno what I'll do.
  8. Karen is amazing. Karen is the best. Karen is perfect. Shoutouts to my homies Senjougahara Hitagi, Hinata Yukari and Minami Kana, though.
  9. I'm not even attempting to learn Japanese, but I can recognise so many Hiragana and Katakana characters already, along with a few random Kanji. I must just be that much of a total weeb. Sometimes when I'm watching anime, I'll look away for a moment to grab a drink or something, and I'll still pretty much know what they say, so long as the sentence is simple. It's a weird feeling, but maybe it means I would have an easy time properly learning if I ever decide I want to.
  10. My goal is 70,000 posts by the end of the day.

You're quite the ambitious person! Glad to have you!

    Headphones

Post your headphones, and tell us about them. What headphone do you have? What headphones have you had? Do you care much about higher quality headphones, or are Apple earphones good enough for you? I got the AKG K550's the Christmas season right after they first came out, at the price of £200 (~$340 att). Now you can find them for $200 instead easily (actually I see a listing from Wal-mart at $154 right now, what the heck). My penny pinching nature is screaming in the back of my head about it all the time, but I'm so happy with them that I'm not that upset about the waste of money. They can do anything I throw at them. Literally anything. It's incredible. They've got a very plain, unbiased sound, which I appreciate a lot, and the build quality is so nice, which is another thing I appreciate. Some people have issues with getting a nice seal, but they're perfect for my big head. I can wear them for 14+ hours and not even notice, they don't get hot or heavy whatsoever. My main complain is the lack of detachable cable, but it's not all that big of a deal. They're fantastic. The best Christmas present I've ever gotten by far. I've used them every single day.

    OS of Choice

I would use Linux because of the high customisation and all that stuff, but I'm too lazy (and possibly inept) to learn how to properly use it. Feels bad.
  13. My guilty pleasure anime. I can't defend it in an argument, I can't hate on it in an argument. I've seen season 1 about 4 times, and I believe I watched season 2 twice. I've got 2 Kirino figs and 1 Kuroneko fig. I have no idea why I enjoy this anime so much.
  14. I loved it when I first watched it. I liked it when I rewatched it. I was pretty "meh" when I ended up watching the recap movies before going on to Rebellion. Over time, I seem to be appreciating what it has to offer less and less. This is true for many other series as well. It's unfortunate, I wish I could go back to being younger and enjoying nearly everything I watched.
  15. Gumi's voice is best. Miku's look is best. I'm a sucker for twintails.

    Ocean thread

Seafood is good. The smell of the ocean is good. The look of the ocean can be great, depending on where you're at. Going to the beach? No. Sand is horrible.

    Manga vs Anime

I can't get into manga. There's much less atmosphere for obvious reasons. It's hard for me to focus on it, and it's a shame, because I know there's a lot of quality stuff out there, but I simply cannot do it. I read extremely quickly, so I'll just skim through all the text and move on at lightning speed. Slowing down to appreciate the art or really take things in properly is too hard for me. I lack disciprine. Anime's got a fixed pacing for itself, though, so it takes care of it for me.

    Shopping!

I've got no money. I can't go shopping for things. I need a job. I don't want to be an adult.
  19. In comparison to Japan, America really tries hard to be mature and hardcore. The North American SNES featured a purple colour scheme as opposed to the more colourful, red, yellow, green and blue styled Super Famicon. While it's a little difference, Nintendo's main reason for this was because Americans are against "kiddy" things, such as extra colourful designs. It's kind of a theme with Americans to try hard to be mature and grown up by obsessing over "mature" themes, and it's a shame people don't appreciate the childishness/innocence like the Japanese do more so. The Wii's extremely family-oriented marketing schemes did not help Nintendo to make a name for itself outside of "silly kiddy games" by any means. Silly Nintendo.
  20. I'm a DJ and I've been naturally good at it since I started. It's the only thing I'm actually confident in, so that's how I know it's a talent. Either that or I'm completely oblivious to how bad I am, but I highly doubt that, since some big names gave me compliments.

    Music sources

Most albums that I want are released during Comiket or M3, and they're quickly uploaded for all to download. I would pay for the ones I really care about, but I don't have the money. My rationalisation against "pirating is bad" is the fact that I DJ and it helps promote artists' work. I've gotten a few people into kind of music I listen to, so I know I'm helping the community/scene, even if it's just a little bit. The small-time artists I listen to don't even care that much about the money, because they do it for the music, anyway. There's many albums that are released for free, and others as "pay what you want." It's fantastic.
  22. Used to play it on my old laptop that could actually run it. That laptop died a dead death, and now I have a toaster, so I can't anymore. It's a shame.
  23. Never had any. Don't even want any at this point. I'll never understand the appeal. Online is the only thing I can tolerate.
  24. I use it because I need to if I want to be able to contact those that run online radio events/shows so I can take part in them. Other than that, it's really a useless thing for me. I would never make one to stay connected with anyone I've ever known irl.
