I've actually already seen that one. Sorry, I forgot to mention it !! But thanks for the recommendation ^ ^ Do you know of any others?

How about a thriller? I love anime thrillers, they're my favorite kind. I'm currently watching Hell Girl, and I've already seen Death Note twice, Mirai No Nikki, Terror in Resonance, Attack on Titan, and I do not plan on watching Tokyo Ghoul anytime soon. I want something mysterious, creepy, and suspenseful and not just bloodshed and gore. This is why Death Note has been watched twice.

Make sure you don't buy cooking wine ^ ^ I haven't tried any red wine because I don't know anything about it and I'm scared I'm going to buy cooking wine. I don't know if it's labeled on the bottle or anything and I honestly haven't even checked for it at all because my sights are set on beer and sake.

I listen to a lot of Japanese music and I have many good songs and I'm happy I know of them. I just want to let you know it's not "the Asian Kung-Fu Generation." It's just "Asian Kung-Fu Generation," or "AKG" (usually in lowercase letters). People often mistake it and say "AKFG," and it's not correct. It's really, really annoying when people say it like this. Even the band members use akg. The people of Japan often say アジカン (Ajikan) for short. Or you can say the full Japanese name for them which is アジアン・カンフー・ジェネレーション. The dots in that text are evidently optional as they only act as an English space for organization, or perhaps reading purposes. The first band I ever actually liked was this band and I've known and liked them my entire life so far. If you're looking for good Japanese music, start with this band, then expand. They are truly legendary.

Me? I like wolves. I just have to get an exotic pets license first and then I'll be capable of legally owning a wolf. I love tigers as well! I've had cats all my life so ya, cats.

Jigoku Shoujo Advice: Don't watch all at once. Watch 3-5 every night until you complete: you'll find out why soon enough

What’s the good and bad things of where you live?
Sasazaki Chan replied to Part_time_anime's topic in Chit Chat
The only positive is my place of living (which is like a Japanese museum) because of the historical artifacts I've collected over the years (however, it's all moving once I depart from this god-forsaken land.). Another positive is anything that's imported from Japan or derivative of Japan. In other words, the only good things about this place come from other places. The place here is of very little significance if not of no significance at all. -
A long time ago I bought the Japanese version of Skyrim in order to enhance my Japanese skills through immersion in this way. The first thing spoken after I got out of the cave was "The dragon is gone so we're free now," or something of the sort. Problem is, they used 無料 in lieu of フリー and so I was laughing so hard because I thought "Wow.. okay then, never realized the dragons used the Imperials as their own personal slaves. Thank you.. Ralof, for the valuable piece of information......." and that's when I stopped playing.

What’s the good and bad things of where you live?
Sasazaki Chan replied to Part_time_anime's topic in Chit Chat
The good: I've learned to hate where I live with the passion of a thousand suns and to never return or even set foot back in this hell hole once I leave. My future family may never see this wretched wasteland. The bad: Too many items to list. -
Ya, I'm a novice drinker and I pretty much did exactly what you said. Today is about living with what had occurred yesterday and swallowing whatever drunk pride I may have had. :c I see what you mean. You're not a smoker as you don't smoke, you do it from time to time. I'm not an alcoholic because I don't drink incessantly. It's a good point and is applicable in many cases. I've actually never smoked in my entire life. Lol It's just not my thing ya know? In addition, that outer space vodka looks sick! I would like to try it because it's green at looks really cool I'm also a space fanatic so it's inevitable I try it at least once in my life. I'll take your word for the flavor but I still want to try it so I can tell people that I have had the privilege of drinking vodka potentially filtered through meteorites xP

I know right!! I completed Skyrim about 5 or 6 times just to get the perfect character; every desired dialogue quote spoken with their corresponding intended outcomes, maximized benefits and rewards in every situation, explored every bit of land in each plane of existence (Oblivion, Nirn, etc.) as much as I possibly could, completed every questline applicable to my character, leveled up my skills in accordance to my character's fighting style, etc. If I said something, or did something I didn't want to do because it goes against my character's nature, I reload a previous save and do it over again until it's exactly how I want it. The only reason I completed the game so many times is because I kept switching consoles, and because I wasn't satisfied with my previous characters and the decisions I made with them. It took me until my 5th or 6th time in order to create this evil, wicked, dark, undetectable, level 94 goddess I've been trying to develop. I've fallen in love with this character. Not that you care or anything but she's essentially an invisible archress with a full set of heavy armour. Her archery I believe is around level 600-900 which correlates to legendary archery 6-9. It's been a while since I last played so I don't really remember. Lol Anyways, I don't do this thorough of a job in a video game unless it's an Elder Scrolls or Fall Out game (Except Arena, and Elder Scrolls Online). I do the best I can in MMORPGs such as Elder Scrolls Online or World of Warcraft because if you say something you don't want, you have to restart your entire character from level zero. It's essentially impossible to play with this mentality in these types of games so if I make a mistake, I live with it and try to make some sense as to why my character would say a certain thing or take a certain action. In addition to this, I don't even think about the possibility of making a mistake so I can actually enjoy the game and not worry so much about fucking it all up because of perhaps OCD? Who knows? Lol As for other types of video games, for instance, Zelda, I try to do the best I can and make everything be the way I want it to be. Depending on the game, I'll play through it once to enjoy it, and play through it again to complete it. And sometimes, the outcome of this being the case is just unintentional. It all depends on what game it is. ^ ^

My drinking is of celebratory concerns, thank you I envy you that you have 'the breadth of a liquor store in your home.' That's really cool! and tbh I had no idea the Japanese even made whiskey for some reason Lmao, I must've not been paying attention to anything at all as of lately Lol. and meteorite vodka? lol sounds kinda interesting! But ya, I'm happy it takes less for you to get drunk, the liver is important Lol And it's rare I drink as well. I'm actually getting better at controlling myself while I'm drunk somehow. :0 !!

Hello Anime Forums, I'm writing this whilst I'm drunk. And "why do I use the whimsically archaic past-tense conjugated form of "while" I wonder" you may ask. It's because by the time you read this I'll be sober but the real question is, does anyone here drink? No need to fixate on the clause preceding the previous clause. My real question is: does anyone here drink sake? There's this Japanese restaurant right next to my house where I want to drink hot sake as they serve it. I can't now because, evidently, I'm drunk and as a responsible adult, I'll wait, but is there anyone who drinks Japanese liquor? If so what type? I want to try new ones besides Asahi, Sapporo, and Ichiban (btw Ichiban is grosss imho).

Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii) I already finished this game, and I almost completed it again, but I wanted to do so thoroughly this time and so that's why i play through it again. My goal is to complete it on Hero Mode, although it looks really difficult, but I do desire bragging rights ;3 I just completed the final dungeon and now I'm off to fight Demise.

I dreamt I was in the anime 'Hell Girl' :'( !!
Sasazaki Chan replied to Sasazaki Chan's topic in Anime Discussion
Haha, you should still watch the anime. It's one of my favorites and its fanbase is very fun to participate in. The only reason why I had the nightmares in the first place is probably because I love staying up super late and watching it, in which gave me the nightmares because I thought about it right before I fell asleep. Your dreams seem really frightening as well. I've seen some really erie shit in this world. Like the dark figure in your dream, I've seen a dark figure as well. I'm not saying both of ours are the same, because they're not. The figure I saw was standing in my room watching me sleep. I woke up and just saw her/him there. She/he didn't move at all. This happened to me twice (and I was definitely awake when I saw her/him both times). Both times I just went back to sleep, pulled the covers over my head, and pretended like I didn't see anything. Dx Your dream I guess is similar to the anime, given someone hated you and wanted you dragged to hell. :0 !! And I haven't lucid dreamt before. I just trained myself to wake myself up when I don't like the dream. Maybe I can't control what I do in the dreams but sometimes I feel like I can; I really don't know. Lol But do give the anime a go. My only advice is to not binge watch it because it's repetitive, but its repetition is necessitated for the kind of story it is, however. I watch 3-5 episodes of Hell Girl every night and that's satisfying enough for me because I want to thoroughly enjoy it and not rush anything. -
Hello people of Anime Forums. I have an interesting story to tell. As the title suggests, this post is about the times I have dreamt I was in the anime "Hell Girl." Before continuing reading this post, I recommend you search the plot of this anime before you continue reading, if you haven't watched it already. Normally, I wouldn't post something like this, but these dreams are truly terrifying and it's because the anime is Hell Girl that I'm posting this. Reading this post during the day may make these dreams seem like they're not too frightening, but when it's the middle of the night and you're alone in complete darkness and dreaming about this kind of stuff... ya it gets pretty scary and real quick. The other day, I was watching Jigoku Shoujo super late at night like I always do and I eventually went to bed (scared. lol). That night, I dreamt I was in the anime and all I remember is seeing Enma Ai staring at me. She was in front of a wooden wall and she gave me the most erie, cold, blank stare you could ever imagine. I was standing there watching her watch me. She didn't move a muscle no matter how much I moved around all confused about what was going on. She just kept staring. The room wasn't too dark nor too light. I'm pretty sure it was a Japanese setting. I was so confused because (somehow) I just knew I wasn't being sent to hell and I know I wasn't going to send someone to hell because I never saw Wanyuudou at all. I remember thinking these things in my dream. And after what seemed like ten minutes of her staring at me I finally woke up. As crazy as this seems, in my dream I remember that I actually liked her creepily staring at me because I remember her looking very beautiful and that I didn't mind her wicked stares. The strangest thing about this was that I was in a three-dimensional body and she was still in a two-dimensional body as well as everything else. How is that normal? If I saw a two-dimensional person walking around the city I live in I'd be scared as hell. I remember in my dream I looked down at my hands to see what dimension I was in and only my body was of the third-dimension. In my dream, I remember thinking that's how my existence or the universe (perhaps?) was supposed to be. and in another dream.. So as of lately, I have taken interest in a new hobby called 'shurikenjutsu.' Everyday for anywhere from 1-5 hours, I'll throw shurikens at targets, mainly boxes. After watching a considerable amount of episodes of Hell Girl one night, I decided I should go to bed. In my dream, I remember practicing my new hobby. However, something was amiss; something was very different. It was the middle of the night. [I never practice past 8pm because of the lack of light and nocturnal creatures (such as owls, snakes, etc.).] I was throwing shurikens from the center of my backyard to the targets on the east side of the yard. The distance is a little less than 10 yards. The targets were boxes; one huge box (approx. twice the size of a plasma tv box) with a hand-drawn target board (I believe), and a few smaller (plain) boxes. The boxes were just a little closer than where I usually set them up at. The only light there was, was the moonlight, the stars above, and some erie, yet bright white lights which only lit up bits and pieces of the backyard; it was very strange. I threw four shurikens (4 in Japanese culture means death) as I only have four irl. After throwing the one 6-pointed shuriken I have, I went over to the targets to retrieve them. I was less than one foot away from the large box, and I started to pull the shurikens out one-by-one. Then suddenly, arms and hands came bursting out of the box from the front and began to grab me. I was so confused I couldn't move. I was completely frozen, paralyzed (even though sometimes I can control what I do in my dreams, this wasn't the case this time. I had no control AT ALL. I couldn't even wake myself up which I usually do when I have nightmares.). Anyways, the box was pretty stable, as if it were metal. In other words, it didn't move or anything from the force of the hands and arms bursting through the box and moving about. I was pulled in and all I remember after that is accepting my fate and just kind of going with it. I didn't scream, or even cry for help. I did nothing and was forced to witness and accept that. I was presumably torn asunder and then dragged to the hell in Jigoku Shoujo. I woke up scared af and extremely restless. I remember turning on my lights on immediately (which so happened to be bright white lights) and recalling everything that had just happened to me. If you don't know how this relates to the anime, you should watch it to see in what ways this is similar. In my dream, I never did figure out who pulled the string. I don't even know why I was banished to hell either. I didn't do anything wrong I don't think? Sorry if my writing isn't too good. It's late at night rn and I just wanted to write an experience I had so ppl can enjoy it, relate to it, etc. I still watch Jigoku Shoujo late nights because that's when it's most fun If you do what I do, be sure you know what you're up for.

I haven't given up on it because I essentially grew up with the anime. I love it. It's just.. I can't remember what episode I left off on so now I have to start over from scratch. On one of my apple accounts, in notes I wrote down every anime I have ever watched, how many times I watched them, and what episode I was on for each of them. I made a new apple account and deleted or made obsolete my previous apple account and I don't remember how to log back in. I can't remember which email it was nor the password. And even if I did manage to get in, the notes wouldn't be there because it wasn't on the Cloud. So it's just gone. So ya.. that happened. However!! I did stop watching altogether before that happened because [MINOR SPOILER ALERT!!] at around episode like 410 of Shippuden, it came to nonstop fillers for what seemed to be 2 entire seasons and for what? Just let me see the d*** fight already. Every season from around episode 410 and up happened like: the battle would progress just a little bit and for the first two or three episodes of the season and then you would just get shot and gunned down by fillers constantly and it was sooo annoying. Like, what season are they possibly saving the fight for? You'd think the artists would want to waste less time, and ultimately be more efficient if they would just get to the point already. If I really wanted to watch the previous episodes of Naruto, one would think I'd just do it myself. But they just have to have the honors I guess. In other words, the fillers is what did it for me, but I also did it to myself. However, I never technically quit because I still will watch all of them one day, it's just not a good time now. I'll just have to soldier through the fillers one of these days once I get that far along again. So it's like I quit, but then I didn't at the same time.
