  1. Quick Links Awesome List Naughty List Current Challenges ☆☆☆☆☆ Notice: If you do not read the rules, and post something that breaks one of my rules, you will automatically lose a star. Depending on my mood, I may let you off the hook, just know that I rarely tell people that they dun goof'd. I'll tell you now, being polite and fun usually gets you into my good books General Rules: These rules technically apply to every mode! So what do you do? YOU COME TO ME, KNEEL IF YOU SO DESIRE, AND THEN, YOU ASK ME SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF: "OI! GIMME SUMTHIN' GUD!" And give you something "gud" I shall. Ah but I'd appreciate it if you give me a link to your anime list! If you don't have one, so be it, but just saying, it'll speed up the process of me finding you an anime if I know what you've seen before ^.^ Remember though ol' chaps, this is MY say. You won't have any say in what kind of anime you get, you ask me for something, you get what you get! Simple as that Oh, but I'm not entirely cruel, I'll give you every right to request the following: Sub or dub (UNLESS I SAY TO WATCH ONE SPECIFICALLY, this doesn't happen often.) The length of the anime (I understand some people have less time than others, so if you only have time for 12 episodes, I gotchu.) For the three main modes (Regular, Hardcore, and Insane) you will gain stars by completing the anime that I give you! However you will LOSE stars by dropping the anime before you're allowed to! What's the fun part? Well I'm sure you saw me mention gaining/losing stars! WHEN you acquire at LEAST one star your name will be placed on the awesome list, with one star! The same applies to the naughty list, however that's for people with negative points. If your name is on that list, you will have at least one demerit point, and a large heap of shame. How do you get rid of demerit points? Get stars! How do you lose stars? Get demerit points. (Don't do that) Keep in mind, if you straight-up refuse to watch an anime (for whatever dumb reason) the penalty for "dropping" a show will be doubled. Spooky. Oh, and if you don't update me on whether you're still working away at your challenge within one month of receiving it or previously updating me on your progress, I will consider it a failure, and you will receive appropriate demerit points. To conserve on space: STAAAAR COLOOOOOURS! Soooo what're those? I used generic RPG rarity scale. Almost. 1 star = 1 black star ☆ 5 black stars = 1 green star ☆ 5 green stars = 1 blue star ☆ 5 blue stars = 1 purple star ☆ 5 purple stars = 1 orange star ☆ 5 orange stars = dayum son. So aim to score high! Ah yes, all those nice stars up there? Mind you, the same colour scheme applies to demerit points ('-' ) I will reward stars via chunks of episodes. What do I mean? 1-15 episodes is one chunk. 16-30 is the next chunk. 31-45 is the third chunk, and so on. The actual star values given are explained under each one's actual... explanation ;D I suppose I'll also allow you to BRIEFLY chat about the show you're watching if you have something you'd like to say. Just be sure to put spoilers in spoiler tags. ☆☆☆☆☆ Regular Mode! This is the classic mode! So HOW does THIS mode work? When I give you a recommendation, you watch it! If you complete it you will get your prize! HOWEVER If you drop the anime before COMPLETING episode 5... you will LOSE stars equivalent to however many you would have gained if you had completed it! Of course now you may be thinking "Ay, but what about that moral grey area between after episode 5 and before completion!?" Well meh, nothing happens if you drop it there, if you didn't like it by episode 5, that's fair So lets look at the numbers for a moment shall we? Every 1 to 15 episodes will reward you with 1 star. Every 16 to 30 episodes will reward you with 2 stars! This pattern continues onwards. Which reminds me, you ARE NOT obligated to watch every season of a show that I give to you in this mode, merely the first season. Should you choose to watch any further seasons, I WILL give you stars for them though, and the episode total will simply combine the total of all seasons. Movies are fair game too! Almost always worth only 1 star though, and regular mode is really the only mode you'll ever get a movie. ☆☆☆☆☆ Hardcore Mode THIS MODE IS EXTREME!!! WHY IS IT EXTREME!? BECAUSEYEAH IT'S EXTREME!!! What's the point of this? Well this is for you brave people out there who want ALLLLLL THE STARS!!! In THIS mode, you get DOUBLE THE STARS FOR COMPLETING WHAT I GIVE YOU! But that's not all, you also LOSE DOUBLE WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE LOST BY DROPPING IT!!! Not evil enough? Well I daresay I'm not done here yet, THIS TIME AROUND, YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO DROP THE ANIME I GIVE YOU! If you drop it between episode 0 and the end, you will LOSE stars! Double the loss of course! In addition to this however, in order to get your stars, you will need to provide a 250 word MINIMUM review of the show that you got. As long as it's 250 words, you're good to go, just make sure you don't confuse "review" with "plot summary." The numbers though! Every chunk of episodes will be worth 2 stars! 1-15 is 2 stars, 16-30 is 4 stars, and all that stuff!!
  2. See, Vash is entirely fine though. Yes he's cool, OP, and male, but he's a great character that's a lot of fun to watch, and is super unique in both his appearances and personality, not to mention backstory and motives. Everything I just described there can apply to anyone to make a good character, but that's just the thing, it can all be applied to females too, so as we agree, it's very dumb when people are so extremely biased against it. It makes me wonder though why it's so prominent in the anime community though. I NEVER see this happen in other sources of media, ever. Well, aside from the occasional weirdo I suppose, but with anime if you try you can find one within the damn hour if you ask in the right areas. Just baffles me that people would prefer to have a badly written generic cool OP male MC over a really well written and enjoyable, ALSO cool and OP female MC. Of course though, like Vash, there are some excellent cool OP male MCs, but people are never picky enough to specify that. If it has edge it wins immediately btw. Ah, this. See, I watch anime because of a few things. The shows almost always have a proper story, and the art is rarely hot garbage. With western cartoons, they ARE almost entirely just episodic comedies, with a couple good ones in there that really stand out, like Avatar and whatnot. Like you can obviously get some enjoyment out of these episodic comedy cartoons, but I'd never devote as much time to them as I have to anime because I don't think I'd seriously be able to. I've seen cartoon reviewers, and the things they say are good are just SO MUCH WORSE than the stuff you and I are used to with anime. Past cartoons though, even live action is plagued with copy/pasted stuff. You know how many damn cop shows get made? Way too fukkin many, that's how many. And they're all dark and gritty. With a funny lady that talks to them through a headset while they're on the field for comedic relief. Obviously it doesn't stop there, and there are a lot of great movies and shows that get made, but you really gotta sift through the crap to get to them. With anime, there's still a LOT of crap, but there's a lot less crap when compared to western television. I've kinda hit a difficult point, since I LOVE recommending anime, but as I watch more anime and get more used to them, I'm able to pick up on the philosophical things much more easily, so my sense of what makes certain shows really good just goes RIGHT over some people's heads when I give them some anime. I kinda get to sidestep this by being the Symphogear Nut that I am, and that show is 210% explosions and fun, but when I'm not screaming that at people, it's just that much tougher to look at someone and really know what they'd like. Y'know, another form of this is simple elitism. You know, those people that say "all new anime is garbage, the only good stuff was made a long time ago" yadda yadda. I won't get into that, but it really is the same narrow-minded concept. They're so deluded by their own opinion that they just assume everything that doesn't match with their thought process will be a dumpster fire. I'm using that word now. I absolutely have no true preference at the core of the issue really, as long as the character is well written I'll find enjoyment in it (probably), but as I said, based on my experiences, simply more often than not, I have more favourite shows that have a female MC because of the care tossed into it. Like if I can tell you to picture a generic copy/pasted male protagonist, you'll probably either picture a very boring looking character with brown or black hair. But if I say to picture a generic copy/pasted female protagonist, it's a hell of a lot harder for one to come to mind. Shoujo is the worst offender since most of those MCs are the small, pretty, shy, unpopular types, but even those almost always LOOK unique.
  3. Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate that type of main character inherently, it can be fun. My issue comes with the swarms of people that LIVE by that type of MC and will not watch anything but. Story time. So there I was, in the KissAnime discord, when a random fellow comes along and asks for an anime with a super badass MC. Naturally, I whip out Symphogear, as it is pretty damn up there on the badass scale, and I sent him this video to get him hyped up. Do watch the full thing to know what I'm talking about. So what does this man say to me? "Bro i dont like it...man i want overpower male mc" And I will not lie, as per the usual when this happens, it pissed me right the fuck off. Only one thing ever gets me mad, and that's narrow-minded people. So my question is this. WHY is the demand for "cool OP male MC" so high. Specifically the male bit. If the character is a badass it shouldn't matter at all right? If the entire anime itself is badass as fuck, it should matter even less, right? What drives SO MANY PEOPLE to absolutely just blindside female MCs just because they aren't male. From personal experience, I've seen a lot more great anime with female MCs than anime with male MCs, just because it seems that, aside from the shoujo genre, studios put a lot more care and effort into making them good, unique characters, and this especially holds true for action anime. Look at Kill la Kill. Can't find another Ryuko as a MC anywhere. Personally I just find it beyond dumb that people think that way so vehemently, and I can't see a good reason to justify the thought process. Self inserting is not a very good reason, btw. Gehh.
  4. Accel World. Because there's cool technology and the odds of me being blown up in a random accident involving the main characters would be next to nothing. Why live in a world that raises my odds of dying? ;D https://sakugabooru.com/data/2db0be881a5ad8c1d28e40a2878bbe2f.mp4
  5. As a mod there like twig is, yeah, this was sprung on us extremely quickly. I prefer to torrent stuff anyways. I'm all for legal sites as well, but for how expensive covering the most amount of anime would be, and then STILL not getting everything, honesty it isn't worth it to me. I'll gladly buy blurays eventually, which gives back a hell of a lot more to the studios I like, that's beside the point though. All illegal streaming sites have kinda died recently anyways, though hell, I think the less popular ones are a hell of a lot better right now all things considered.
  6. Hello young one, welcome to the dark side, where you'll feel your life force being sucked away with every passing anime and you really won't care since this stuff is the shit. I have a rec for you indeed. You like One Punch Man? Cool. My Hero Academia? Bonus. DBZ? We can work that out. Senki Zesshou Symphogear is the show for you, get it now for the low low price of hearing me out for 5 minutes! ~~~ K, so, first thing's first. The protagonist. She's about as OP as Saitama, without being boring about it. She also shares a ton of personality traits with Deku. Wanna know what her go-to method of attack is? You guessed it. FISTO. I'll drag DBZ in here because I absolutely assure you, shit gets pretty ridiculous, and there is some screaming involved, lots of flashy lights, retardedly huge explosions, you get the gist, it's a fun time. ~~~ Now if you haven't googled it yet and shirked away, good job, thanks for listening attentively, I'd give you a cookie but I physically can't, perhaps I could mail one but we'll sort that out at a later date. This show has a music tag as well. Why does it have a music tag? Because there's MUSIC. They sing as they fight. It's as if Micheal Bay himself flew down from the heavens accompanied by a choir and shat out the best gad damn musical the world has ever seen. You expect idol music? Think again, these songs are the songs that play when hype trains meet up during mating season, take a looksie: Celtic Themed: Believe in Justice, Grip it Tight Rock Themed: GUN BULLET XXX Oriental Themed: A Beautiful Blade in the Moonlight HYPE TRAIN: Radiant Force ~~~ Now now, calm down, take a breather, drink some water, do what you need to, because unfortunately I'm not done yet. There is ONE downside to this series, and it really may not even be a downside, depends on how accepting you are as a human being really, but season 1 is in a state where it both didn't know what it wanted to be, and it had budget issues. Thankfully however, they had the smarts to devote 95% of their money to the important parts. Aka, the fight scenes and music, so all of that is still lovely. But my point here is, get to season 2 even if it kills you, and especially if it doesn't kill you, because most people's opinion on this shit do a 180 to the good side so hard it does indeed kill them and I gotta deal with the consequences, spare me the paperwork please. Now that that's all said and done, I'm sure you're curious as to how the action mixes with the music. Well, here, feast your eyes on this lovely, for it'll be roughly 7 minutes you'll never get back, but it'll be so well spent you won't want it back, you'll want to frame this time spent and put it above your fireplace for all future generations to see as well: GX Opening Scene So yeah. Should be it. Enjoy. ~~~ Watch Order, with some entirely awesome facts you totally needed to know, except that you really didn't ask for!: Symphogear (anime original series, sold really damn well despite having no advertising power due to budget, and made them enough cash to get season 2 into the 11/5 range.) Symphogear G (Where the anime shows its true colours. If JUSTICE and FISTING and EXPLOSIONS are colours. It nabbed the #4 spot in sales for its season in Japan too.) Symphogear GX (It's like G, but prettier. And with better music. Scored #1 in sales for its season in Japan, as well as surpassing One Punch Man in sales for the entire year.) Symphogear AXZ (It's like GX, but the fight choreography improves. ALSO scored #1 in sales for its season in Japan.) Symphogear XV (Hasn't aired yet, don't worry about cliffhangers though, Symphogear better than that.)
  7. Romance is probably my favourite genre, and it has been for like 5 years now, so I have a solid grasp on it as a whole at this point. To me, a romance is good so long as it actually gets to conclusive "level of romance" First level would be confession. It MUST be acknowledged by both of the characters as well, if the show does a copout and has one of the characters not hear what the other said etc. Following that, there must be a response to the confession. I don't overlt care what the story decides to do after the confession and response, so long as it isn't pointless dumb people wondering what to do with their feelings until an inevitable cliffhanger. If things go well for the two though, we move onto stage 2. Stage 2 is best stage since it isn't horribly uncommon, and is rather fulfilling in most cases. This is when the romance gets to the point of the characters forming a relationship, simple as that. Stage 3 is much rarer, but always a treat. This is after the characters have formed a relationship and you get to see them develop together as an actual couple. Stage 4 is the best shit but I've only seen it happen twice in anime, and four times in the manga I've read. Anime doesn't like to get to stage 4. This is when the main couple gets married. Finally, the elusive stage 5 would be following the characters lives after marriage. Overall, I have never seen a single anime to hit every stage in order, with a few weird examples tossed in. I will reiterate that a romance does not have to have a happy ending to be good, as long as the ending makes sense, and the cliffhanger , if it has one, never happens before stage 1. I mentioned some weird examples. Momokuri for example, goes from stage 1 to 2 in 45 seconds of the show starting, and the remainder of the show is spent on stage 3. tl;dr as long as it isn't a bitch and cliffhangs before any romance happens, we gucci. Ah as well, on the topic of harems. I don't hate the idea of harems, but man most od them just happen to be terrible. They constantly set up opportunities to hit stage 1, but due to the terrible, terrible characters, especially the overly bland copy/paste self insert main characters that always get used, these opportunities are shot down by any number of overused cliches and the plot progression gets dragged to a halt. In my lifetime, I have seen one single harem anime that goes to completion, with a proper ending with the MC choosing someone, and that is Zero no Tsukaima. Every other harem has ended on a cliffhanger. I have seen ONE other one that got to stage 2, but it doesn't count since as soon as that happened, they fucked over the MCs personality by tearing open the can of harem once again and cliffhanging it with forced drama starting up again.
  8. It's honestly quite good. And I despise the mainline SAO stuff. Sure, it may not be some inventive masterpiece that's reinventing the genre and saving anime, but it IS an enjoyable show. Unlike the original SAO, it has characters with solid themes and realistic motivations that they stick to rather well. Hell, most of the players in this SAO play because it's simply a game to have fun in. And Pitohui is probably the most grounded villain we've ever gotten out of SAO. Doesn't go around killing people IRL as they kill people in-game. Doesn't hijack an entire game and lock people inside of it to fend for their lives under the threat of microwaving their brains. She's simply psychotic and wishes for the thrill of death, and as such, will kill herself if she dies in the game. Well, M got dragged into that too, but that was probably his fault. It's not without its fun OP moments, but it hasn't really done that to the extent of the mainline series at all. They obviously can't have LLENN die in the game until the finale perhaps, so everything up to that point makes sense that she would win, but all things considered, she only decimates fodder teams that nobody gives a damn about. https://www.sakugabooru.com/data/792baf1e275a9f3cae8ded4d36b2cf42.mp4 She's strong, but not broken about it, basically. And it has been stated that she's simply a good player via practice and levelling and whatnot if I'm not mistaken. Not to mention she has a ton of personality to her. Her friend with the grenade launchers is great too. I also find it hilarious how they keep throwing jabs at the mainline series. Makes sense since the only reason this one exists is because the director for AltGGO saw SAO 2 and said "Bitch, I can do that better." So he did.
  9. I've always said that any genre can be enjoyable, so long as it does what it set out to do properly. I'm the furthest person from picky, and I will in fact watch anything and probably be capable of enjoying it, so long as it's good at doing what it's doing. Naturally, this means that if ANY genre is bad at doing its genre, I probably won't like it. You wouldn't watch a comedy with bad comedy right? So basically, it's hard to vote here since I can't pin anything on the first chunk of the survey. It entirely depends.
  10. I should mention that season 2 is the 14th most popular anime on MAL XD And for very good reason lol. I suggest trying it out again, just keep in mind that you DO NOT want to watch season 1 as a romance, this is important. It's a drama/comedy, with a little bit of romance.
  11. Whaaa, you hate Clannad? Tis' my favourite romance anime XD You make it to season 2 by chance? o.o Regardless, that's beside the point. Best OVA I've ever seen is Kubikiri Cycle. It isn't attached to any other shows, it is in fact, its own show. But still an OVA. 8 episodes, and remains one of the best mystery anime I've ever seen, I struggle to find any flaws with it. https://myanimelist.net/anime/33263/Kubikiri_Cycle__Aoiro_Savant_to_Zaregototsukai I highly recommend looking for OVAs that work like this one, or even ONAs, which are almost the same thing, but released via the internet only, rather than only being released on DVD or Bluray like OVAs are. Personally, most OVAs that are attached to shows that I've seen are highly unimportant. NOT all the time, but for the most part. OVAs like the ones you're talking about are almost always exclusively used to just give people a little gift for buying disc copies of the show, and more often than not are just a simple fun extra episode. There are very rare cases however, like for Steins;Gate, where its OVA was a proper sequel that led into the following movie. Long text aside, I normally pass on OVAs that are attached to shows unless I see that they're a proper sequel. Normally however, they're the equivalent of a filler episode, and those don't exactly interest me too much.
  12. You didn't read the first post at all did ya ;D
  13. Ah so it's like the Clannad movie is to Clannad. Not nearly as good, and they change how characters act for the worse, but thankfully you don't have to watch it at all.
  14. Cool, will jot these down. I will probably watch them eventually, if only to be able to recommend isekai anime to people that want isekai. I'm also noticing that these are all older ones, which is NOT an issue for me, but I find it funny just how much new stuff is just no. There was a time when even the dastardly isekai genre was in a good place XD Sure, no rush ;D Gotcha, is the movie a remake, or a sequel thing, or?
  15. Huh, guess people missed this somehow. Katanagatari (the art isn't like Charlotte at all, however it does have a very unique art style that suits it incredibly well. It's about a guy who's rather dumb but incredibly strong, meeting a girl who's smart but incredibly fragile. They need to travel the lands together to collect 12 legendary swords. 12 episodes. 12 swords. See what they did? The episodes are double length, so something gets done in every episode without fail. Very good series.) And you can bet your ass the action looks good lol. https://www.sakugabooru.com/data/c1494c93f954846deb84e3ff6e0e63e9.webm Twin Star Exorcists (50 episodes, is a VERY basic shounen anime, however this time with a twist. There's a romance focus involved, and it goes to completion. The main character and a girl are both Exorcists, and are both recognized as being incredibly powerful, so they are teamed up as the... "twin star exorcists" lol. Unfortunately, episodes 20-30 are a drag, and they can't be skipped, but they thankfully ended that arc really well, and it goes straight uphill after that too. Everything before episode 20 is quite good as well. It has a proper nice ending as well, and is overall just a good watch. Has a nice style to it as well.) It's one of the OPs, but you get the drift: https://www.sakugabooru.com/data/9ce7bd971e5c96b1bd906d589e32c499.webm
  16. I'm glad you mentioned at least Escaflowne. Isn't that regarded as the first true isekai anime? I haven't seen it, but i've been very tempted. All I know is that it basically puts "Knight's and Magic" to shame ;D It and its misspelled name. I feel like I've heard of Rayearth before, but only heard about it. I shall look into this. But you should make a thread on that o.o So much shit is left unfinished, it kills me. I'm asking about this though because I am genuinely curious as to whether or not there are any new isekai anime that finish. I can LITERALLY only think of Zero no Tsukaima and that's like 2005.
  17. More to fulfill my own curiosity, list off some proper isekai anime that actually end. Entirely. Zero no Tsukaima is already accounted for. And by "end" I mean, finishes the ENTIRE plot with no huge strings left untied. If you've seen the aforementioned Zero no Tsukaima, you'll know exactly what I mean. Some examples of isekai that DO NOT pass this, are stuff like No Game No Life, Re:Zero, Smartphone, Death March, you get the point.
  18. Well how are we defining harem here? Yes, the MC is surrounded by girls, but as I said, the entire show focuses on the romance between him and one girl, with a bit of a love triangle thing for another girl, but she backs off. If we're simply saying that it's a harem because there's a dude surrounded by women, then yes it's a harem. But that's not how I personally define harem anime. For it to be a harem, every girl in the "harem" needs to have an actual romantic interest in the protagonist. By the surrounded by women thing, that makes Little Busters a harem too ('-' ) Kubikiri Cycle too. Punch Line as well. But Little Busters has VERY minimal romantic focus until the second season, and even then it isn't a ton, but the MC is surrounded by a large majority of the main cast being female. Kubikiri Cycle has a spot of romance in it, and only once. The rest is pure mystery, and all the women don't overly give a shit about the MC. Yet, he is surrounded by women. Punch Line is in the same boat as Kubikiri Cycle, it perhaps plays with romance once or so, but in the end, there's so little romantic stuff between the MC and the women he's surrounded by, I find it hard to count. Going back to Clannad and reiterating, yes there's a big romance focus, and perhaps the visual novel allowed you to have any of the girls have a thing for you, the anime itself focused on one, and one alone, with a second VERY obviously-not-going-anywhere second character being kinda interested. Point is, I find it silly to define a harem as simply being surrounded by women. Edit: also, I have failed to find anywhere where I can type in "harem" and find Clannad (._. ) Even on bigger anime sites that support that type of search.
  19. Whoawhoawhoa, hold the fuck up XD Clannad is absolutely not a harem, at MOST it's a love triangle for a very brief period. ef: a tale of memories is even further from a harem. There's a bunch of girls because the show follows 2 completely separate MCs, each of which have a very obvious focus on just one girl, and ONE of those MCs happens to be in a love triangle as well, but because it's ef, they handled it super well and it wasn't annoying. Not to mention that both Clannad and ef have full, proper, VERY satisfying endings, so that's a thing. I can give you more if you really want, but I assure you, you'll kick yourself later if you pass on these ones. Edit: Not to mention that ef is made by studio Shaft. and Shaft makes good shit. Y'know, the Monogatari people? The art direction alone makes the thing worth watching lol
  20. Clannad (and Clannad After Story. Admittedly, season 1 is MUCH more of a drama/comedy so watch it as such, but season 2 is where the romance is at, and it isn't #14 on MAL for no reason) ef: a tale of memories. (DO NOT confuse this with the optional second season "ef: tale of melodies." You can watch it if you want, but I didn't find it to be nearly as good.) Tsuki ga Kirei (an extremely realistic romance that portrays the age of the characters, in this day and age, basically perfectly. You'll be able to relate a hell of a lot more if you grew up attached to your phone.)
  21. I need no history, for nobody has seen Senki Zesshou Symphogear 4 seasons of completely awesome action and explosions, and basically nothing else. Much like Boku no Hero Academia, the story is VERY cliche, but they make it work wonderfully. I will apologize on one front, as season 1 isn't the prettiest thing in the world. They did however save ALL of their budget for the action scenes, so all things considered, those still look quite solid, as you can see here: https://www.sakugabooru.com/data/681e319e6457f539b8510da7c734d028.webm (Scene from the TV version, not the bluray version. The bluray version looks ever so slightly better, like fixing the rotating barrels of the miniguns when they first pop up, keep this in mind) Season 2 onwards however, oh lawdy. Prepare your hype pants because this series turned EVERYTHING up to 11. The art, the music, the choreography, character development, has the most entertaining villain ever not kidding, you name it, it improved upon it, and every season starting at season 2, continues to improve itself. Impressive, right? Season 2: https://www.sakugabooru.com/data/db920e7443dac5bb7d6f5d3b36545c10.webm Season 3: https://www.sakugabooru.com/data/9e08df6f2a5a365943a1ddf8b97e52b6.mp4 Season 4: https://www.sakugabooru.com/data/89a90903782d71d753578efcfe59b907.mp4 Anyways, for sure, get to season 2 and try that out. Season 1 isn't bad, it's just lacking in a lot of areas that the others are wonderful in. It's VERY worth it to get to season 2 onwards.
  22. Flip Flappers is a great half isekai. The two main characters wind up going to a whole bunch of different worlds throughout the show. Very episodic, but the final arc is a pretty solid finale for it. It also entirely naile the fantasy aspect. Can't say I know anything for contemporary/modernistic though, of only because I'm not entirely sure what you mean lol
  23. I have indeed seen all of these lol. Well. I never got around to season 2 of Snow White with the Red Hair, I should do that e.e Ah nice, older ones. I highly recommend the ones I mention in my first post (the good ones at least) I will look into these. Thanks! Oh and uh, so long as the movies complete the series, that's fine.
  24. replaced it with my anilist in the meantime. Should work now.
  25. Not necessarily the source material ending, just so long as the romance actually gets places. How Kimi ni Todoke did it? Good. How Golden Time did it? Good. How Momokuri did it? Good. How Netoyome did it? Burn it. How Ao Haru Ride did it? God no. How My Little Monster did it? Death by pitfall. You get the gist. Here's my anime list: https://anilist.co/user/awesomedude20/animelist And feel free to point out any in my plan to watch that end as I wish them to as well. Thanks in advance
