  1. Nice. Thanks for fighting for us, dude. I never went to college after high school and I've yet to have any huge achievements like that. I was going to join the National Guard...but decided against it because of family reasons.
  2. Mortal Kombat! Awesome set of games! Welcome.
  3. I don't think anyone has liked a Assassin's Creed game since the Ezio trilogy and Desmond's death in AC3 other than AC4....the series really hasn't been the same. Although I really wish they had made more game titles with Edward instead of making one with the traitor, Shay Cormac. What I will say Syndicate is a vast improvement over some of the lesser sequels such as Liberty and AC3. AC3 lacked too much in comparison to AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. I'll be sure to add updates when I play through it again.

I get bored watching movies or anime. Games are so much more entertaining. I have been playing through the AC games lately. Although I'd like to spend some time playing Fallout 4. I think I'm level 22 on that game.

  7. Welcome. Enjoy the forum.

  9. I've never been super ambitious. That's a big difference between me and my siblings. I'm doing what I love now. I'm basically a phone receptionist / Cashier.
  10. I'm an Olive Garden kind of guy.
  11. I used to play in band at high school. But I sucked at it and I was only in the classes for the grade. So I have no skills in music other than listening to it.
  12. Do you pre-order any video games? If so, which ones have you pre-ordered? How often do you normally pre-order a video game? Myself. No, not really. I have in the past. But there are so many games out now, that it is just better to wait until a store has a copy available for purchase. I find most of my games at Game Stop or Game Stash.
  13. In video games. Do you play for everything in a game or do you just do the main story line? I don't always do the optional quests such as side quests in a video game. I think all you really have to do to beat a game is just the mandatory events of that video game. However if I really really love the game. I will try my very best to get all the upgrades in the game, weapons, armor, and gear. If I didn't care for the game as much. I just complete the main quests and move on to greener pastures.
  14. Do you buy used games and where do you buy them? I some times go to Game Stop or look in family owned stores. I mainly buy for my PS3...but I have been buying used games for my PS4 because it is cheaper. I do check to see how rough around the edges the game is. If it looks too messed up or wasn't taken care of by its previous owner, than I won't buy it. That's just me though.
  15. If your console breaks, are you likely to take it some place to repair or buy a new one? I personally would buy a new one instead. I have all my files backed up on a flash drives so it'd be no loss to me. It would be inconvenient should my PS3 go bad and crash. But I would buy a new one since they're a lot cheaper than they were since the PS4 came out. It'd be frustrating but nothing lasts forever. Now if my PS4 were to break. I'm going to cry.
  16. Do you purchase DLC content? Honestly I myself do not very often buy dlc. In fact there are two games where I bought dlc content. I don't because I don't like playing a game for too long as there are too many as it is that I would like to play and DLC is distracting. If the game comes with it. I will play it. But that has been all. I have never bought any kind of dlc for Assassin's Creed and most games as I just mainly prefer to play the basic game and than move on to something else. DLC can get expensive from what I've found out so I just stick with the regular game most often.
  17. Have you had a chance to play Fallout 4? I think it's a good game. It's literally the best in since 3. What I do like about it is that there isn't a level cap, you don't have that silly repair feature in the game where your weapons and armor degrade and you're forced to pay to fix it or repair it yourself. They have some pretty cool guns and armor. What is cool is that you can mix armor and give the protagonist an interesting look. Power armor is a major let down as you need power cells to fuel it...which you didn't have to do in previous games. So I've been discouraged from using it. Although players new to the game love it. Although the higher your level is and the more perks you have as well as having better weapons and gear, you can power through with out it. Anyone played it yet?
  18. I used to play a few games online for a little while. But I'm more of a console player than anything.
  19. Adware is a pain. Especially bloatware that you get when you buy a computer. I'm pretty good at keeping it off my computer. CCleaner is pretty good at getting rid of it as well as Malware Bytes.
  20. I have Itunes on my laptop...which I use for my MP3 player....or I will listen to music off of Youtube.
  21. I used to just sell my older games and consoles when the new one was released. I did that with the PS1 when the PS2 came out because it was a backwards compatible system. I did this yet again with my PS2 when the PS3 came along. Also because I no longer played my PS2. So there was no point in keeping it around. I however did not do this with my PS3 when the PS4 was released because I am not ready to part with my PS3. IF I do that, I will no longer get to play great games like the classic Assassin's Creed games, I will not get to play Skyrim, I will not get to play the old Fallout games either. So it seems there are more negative points than there are positive sides to this situation of me getting rid of a system that I can still play on. It's really undecided at this point on whether or not that I'll trade in or sell my PS3 slim and all the games that I have. If the PS4 somehow get's an emulator to play PS3. Than that will weight heavily in my future decision. Another could be when I no longer play on my PS3. But for now, I'd rather keep it.
  22. I can see where you're coming from. I didn't like Assassin's Creed at first. At first it was just another game I felt compelled to beat and move on. I started playing it out of boredom. It took me awhile to get into the first one when it came out. Because I thought it was weird at first. The whole thing with the Animus reminded me of The Matrix. I died a lot. I didn't know what to do as you have to climb view points to open up quests. The more you do, the more health you get. But the more I played it, the more I came to want more of it. At first it just seemed like any other game I've played.
  23. More than most games. I used to play the first one all of the time. I really took a liking to Altair Ibn la Ahad. Than AC2 came around and I think I liked Ezio better...that and they added a ton of new features in the game. The double knives were added and so was armor and assets. AC3 and Liberation....I was somewhat disappointed by those. Because they took away from a lot that AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations had already given the player.
  24. The only thing else I can offer is to just keep talking to her, keep getting to know her, and the closer you get, the better towards you she will be. Honestly man, the only reason she may come off selfish and arrogant is probably because it's her barrier to other people. That doesn't make it a fact of who she is and I think you see through that. She might have been hurt in a previous relationship. Some girls who try to act like bad girls normally are not in their home life. It's kind of like a cover. I hope this works out for you, my friend. Despite what people think of her. The only thing that truly matters and counts....is that she's important to you. The true pursuit of happiness in our lives is finding that special someone that we can't live without.
  25. Holy crap. I drool with envy. I totally want your mini AC figurines!
